###Chapter 580 Witnessing That Love Is Mostly Happiness – Part 9
After replying to all the messages, Ivelle could not help clicking on her newsfeed and refreshed them. He saw that Jordan seemed to have posted in his circle of friends, too. Naturally curious, she couldn't help but click on it. It was a picture of her eating seafood and posted it on his timeline.
He wrote with a sweet caption. "In the depths of the night, Mrs. Astley is my star."
"Fuck me!" Grace opened her mouth and complained like a child. "Your husband and wife's circle of friends is really too high. Jordan is really not shy about showing love at all. I am so jealous!" Her friend squealed like a teenager who was just invited to prom by her crush.
'Am I his star in the depths of the night? I don't know since when Jordan has become so literary and artistic.' Ivelle grinned toothily.
Seeing her low smile, Grace looked at Ivelle, squinted her eyes, and said knowingly. "Your expression is like a whipped woman. Can I call you Miss spring?" She asked teasingly and laughed.
Ivelle put away the smile on her face as her cheeks went a little hot. She coughed to conceal her shyness. "It's almost afternoon. Go back and clean up. Don't we have to go to Cape Oaks Village later?"
She nodded, said goodbye to ivelle, and hurriedly replied. "If you didn't tell me that, I'm about to forget that we have an appointment. I'll go back, wash up, and put on some makeup. Then, I'll wait for you at the door."
Ivelle nodded and motioned to her to go.
When she saw her leaving, Ivelle looked at her cell phone and couldn't help opening Jordan's timeline. It was as if it's Jordan's first time to post. All the people commented Ivelle didn't know them. Her heart seemed to explode with Joy.
Come to think of it, at Astley's headquarters, it was estimated that a lot of people have already seen his post and are probably talking about it.
She raised her hand and rubbed her hot face. Ivelle went up to the second floor to change her clothes and dolled up. She prepared like a proper and readied herself to go to Dominic. After all, he was an elder. No matter what, etiquette and appearance should be thorough.
Ivelle knew that she can't go too casually. Besides, Dominic seemed to know her grandmother. She's been thinking about this for a long time and has been thinking about finding an opportunity to ask.
Packing up and getting ready to go out, Ivelle looked around the purple pottery bought by Jordan. He picked a set of purple pottery from Merida in the Southwest and took a picture of a fermented tea belt from ten years ago on the tea rack.
Outside the door came the sound of a car's engine revved. Grace finished preparing. When Ivelle went out with them, she saw her changed into a gentle breeze skirt. Her hair was pulled into a high ponytail and a pair of pearl-framed sunglasses were set up on the bridge of her nose, which looked playful and somewhat cool.
When she saw Ivelle went out, she looked down at her sunglasses and said. "You are so virtuous in this dress today. You will meet your parents in a standard way. When I see Grandpa and William in the future, I will refer him to you."
When she got in the car, Ivelle couldn't help laughing. "I just tie up my hair, put on a dress, and put on light makeup. How can you say that I'm virtuous?"
She started the car. "You don't understand. Many old people like girls like you who look clean, gentle, and quiet, especially the elders at home."
Seeing the purple pottery and tea Ivelle put in the back seat, she surprisingly told her with a glimmer of appreciation in her eyes. "You've only seen the old man once and you know what he likes. No wonder Grandpa Astley took a fancy to you and betrothed you to Jordan!"
Ivelle smiled. "Would you believe me if I said I was a crook?"
She nodded and there was car music in the car. She shook her head to the rhythm and shouted. "Of course I do!"
Along the way, the music has a strong sense of rhythm that uplifted her mood. The mood and vibe were already good, listening to rock music made them hyper even more.
It was already evening when he arrived in Cape Oaks village. Grace drove his car to the village of Cape Oaks village and stopped outside an antique cottage.
At the gate outside the villa, Dominic seemed to have been waiting for a long time. With a crutch in his hands, he looked forward to the arrival of his guests today.
Seeing Grace's car coming, the old man happily came down the steps to pick them up. Excitement can't be concealed on his face.
Grace stopped the car, went out of it, and ran towards Dominic. Dominic lovingly embraced Grace in his arms. "Grandpa, didn't I tell you? I told you to wait at home. It's not that I can't find my way. It's cold at night. What if you get sick?"
Dominic smiled and was extremely happy that he could not close his mouth. He pulled her granddaughter and said. "You child, you said you'll be here in the morning. What time did you arrive?"
Grace covered her mouth aghast. "I fell asleep in the morning! By the way, I've brought my friend. I'd like her to introduce me to you!"
With that, Grace pulled Ivelle and looked at Dominic. "Grandpa, this is my dear friend, Ivelle."
Dominic smiled, looked at her, and said. "I've seen this girl. I saw her in a hotel in the village that day. She works in Preston's, right?"
Ivelle nodded, politely smiled, and said. "Hello, Grandpa Dominic Cross!"
He nodded repeatedly and greeted Ivelle warmly. "Hello! What a beautiful child."
After greeting, Dominic told his people to prepare food, and then dragged the two of them into the villa. There were not many people residing in the villa, so there were only two nannies and housekeepers who took care of the elderly.
The food in the kitchen seemed to have been ready a long time ago, and it has already been put on the table. When the butler saw them went in, he smiled and said. "It's all hot! You can start eating."
Dominic nodded and said. "Give Grace a hot glass of sweet potato juice."
Then, he looked at Ivelle and asked. "Ivelle, what do you like to drink?"
She smiled and said. "It's all right, Grandpa Cross. I'm not picky about food."
"Why don't you try the sweet potato juice that we like?"
Touched with his warm welcome, Ivelle cheerfully nodded. "That would be awesome. Thank you, Grandpa Cross!"
There was the sound of an engine outside the door as if a car was just parked outside.
Grace picked up the utensils and before putting the food into her mouth, she looked at Dominic and asked curiously. "Grandpa, have you invited anyone else besides us?"
Dominic was slightly stupefied and shook his head. "No, I'm an old man. Who would come and see me at night?"
The housekeeper came in and informed the patriarch of the Cross Family. "Mr. Cross, Mr. Astley is outside and said that he wants to visit you."
Grace gave Ivelle a look, tilted her head, and looked at Ivelle in confusion. "Jordan?"
She was confused, too. Ivelle shook her head and said. "He should still be busy right now. He can't come here very at this time."
In that case, they're not sure who came in. Kian Hastings and Nicole came to A City. Ivelle knew that Jordan would show them around and can't come to accompany Ivelle for dinner again.
Dominic smiled and said to the housekeeper. "It just so happen that we just sat down. Invite him in!"
The housekeeper nodded and came in soon after he went out.
The man behind him was slender, handsome, and good-looking, similar to Jordan.
Grace could not help laughing and said. "Is Boss Astley afraid that I will kidnap and sell his wife? You can't even take your eyes off at her for a while. You're overly protective." Grace can't help but jokingly tease.
Jordan first said hello to Dominic, then looked at Grace and said with a smile. "Ivelle, she doesn't sleep well and is prone to insomnia at night. I won't get in your way when you two hang out!"
"Sit down." Dominic opened his mouth, opened the position beside him, and let Jordan sit down. He looked at Grace and reprimanded her. "You are such a girl, you are neither old nor young."
Jordan smiled and said apologetically. "I know I came uninvited. I'm sorry to bother you."
After listening to Grace just now, Dominic looked at Jordan and said "Jordan, Grace said that you have come to see your wife. Isn't your wife that Miss Kent? How come it seems like Ivelle is your wife, too?"
"Grandpa, you're confused!" Grace hastily interrupted. "As for Miss Kent, that's a fake. Grandpa, Jordan Astley's wife is here!"
