###Chapter 599 Please Love Me Sincerely And Passionately – Part 9
After walking for a while, Nicole was probably tired. She ran to the public chair in the square and sat down. She looked at Jordan with a particularly sweet smile and said, "Jordan, let's have a rest."
I didn't say much, and Jordan didn't open his mouth. I sat in the square for a while. I didn't know what suddenly occurred to Nicole. She pulled Jordan and spoke to me a sentence, "Ivelle, please wait for us here, and we'll be right back!"
Then she took Jordan and left!
I sat in the public chair and watched the old man dancing in the square. I was supposed to be happy, but I couldn't lift the smile at the corner of my mouth.
The cell phone rang in my pocket. I saw that it was from the capital. I tried to think who was it, but I couldn't find out who would call me at that moment, so I just picked it up.
The childish voice of Blossom came from the other end of the phone, "Mom, are you still working outside? Why is it so noisy there?"
I was surprised for a moment, but I just forgot that Blossom said she would call me every night to talk to me. I couldn't help but say, "Yes, I just finished dinner and went out for a walk. I didn't have a job today."
Her voice was soft. "Then mother must have a good rest and not be too tired. Uncle Jordan went to see you today. Have you seen him?"
I nodded and smiled. "Yes, who is at home with Blossom?" Jordan is not in the villa, so he should have found a babysitter to take care of her.
"I'm at my grandmother's house. I live with my grandparents when Uncle Jordan is not at home. Mom, do you want to talk to grandma? She misses you as much as I do."
I was shocked for a moment, and as soon as I was about to refuse, Erin's hoarse voice came from the other end of the phone, "Ivelle, are you all right over there? It's getting cold recently. Put on more clothes and come back as soon as you finish your work. It's about to be the Mid-autumn Festival. Are you and Jordan coming back?"
I didn't know if it was because of their relationship across the phone line, but her voice seemed to be older than before. She must have been getting older.
I nodded and said, "Well, I don't know yet. I won't talk about it until the Mid-autumn Festival." After a pause, I said, "Thank you for taking care of Blossom me."
From the other end came her helpless laugh, "My child, we are your parents. Of course, we'll take care of our own granddaughter. How can you say thank you? Ivelle, we are old and we will be gone in a few years. I know you resent us in your heart, but, we should always try to move on."
I pursed my lips and stopped talking.
Blossom wanted to talk to me, so she took away the phone, held it against her ear, and began to tell me the interesting things that happened at her school every day. I listened shallowly and occasionally answered with a smile.
After chatting for a while, the child's body clock started working, and I vaguely heard her yawning. I said, "It's getting late in there, Blossom. Shall we talk about it tomorrow?"
She nodded, but agreed, and said softly, "Mom, I'll start to rest today. I'll call you tomorrow. You should go home early, too. Don't stay up too late. If it's bad for your health, go back early!"
I nodded and smiled. "Okay, good night!"
After hanging up the phone, I was in a daze. People to a certain age, have to face some choices. Only a few people will be wandering all their lives. Most of us will always need to go home and see our relatives and friends.
Jordan and Nicole came back and seemed to be in a good mood. They both were holding some food in their hands. Seeing me in a daze, Jordan handed me what was in his hand and said, "Hey, have a taste!"
It's marshmallows. I haven't been interested in these sweet things for a long time. I just took a hit and said faintly, "It's too sweet. Let's go, it's getting late. We should go back."
Then he turned and walked straight in the direction of the hotel, and there was nothing left to say along the way.
When I got back to the hotel, it was almost early in the morning. I picked up my room card at the front desk, and I handed it to Jordan. Because I was tired and sleepy, I didn't want to talk very much. "Grace and I stayed in your room!"
I gave my room card to him and I went straight into the elevator to get ready to go back to my room.
As soon as I opened the door of the room, a dark shadow entered the room. It was Jordan. He turned on the light and looked at it. He saw that there was no one, and his black eyes fell on me. "Is it because you have walked too much and is tired? So you don't want to stay in a room with me?"
I frowned. "You're thinking too much. I've always lived with Grace, but she won't come back tonight."
With that, I was not in the mood to talk to him anymore about these nonsense things. I changed my clothes and was ready to wash. He closed the door, hugged me from behind me, landed his chin on my shoulder, and said, "Are you angry?"
I shook my head. "No, I'm just too tired." I was too tired to be angry.
He held me, sat on the bed, held my waist, and asked me to sit on his lap. "Wouldn't this be better?"
I didn't know. I leaned on his shoulder and said, "Jordan, you were not a qualified husband today?"
I didn't want to quarrel with him, but if I held back my grievances and felt uncomfortable, I would just hurt him. I opened my mouth.
He hugged me in a low voice, "What do you mean?"
I leaned against his shoulder, feeling a little tired. "You shouldn't have left me in the square to go with her for so long."
I could understand that he had the instinct to take care of and spoil Nicole. After all, she was only here for a few days, but he and Nicole have been so close that I still have some unspeakable feelings in my heart.
He pressed his brow slightly, put his arms around me, and smiled. "Weren't you tired just now? I wanted you to rest in the square. I have bodyguards around you always."
I stopped talking. I got up and turned away from him and said, "It's getting late. Hurry up and wash up and have a rest!"
I couldn't talk about this topic anymore. If I went on, I would only make a big deal out of it myself.
He grabbed his wrist, looked at each other, and he said, "Are you jealous?"
I shrugged my shoulders and said, "You said you treated her like a sister. What do I have to be jealous about?"
He smiled, pulled me into his arms, and said, "I'll pay more attention to you in the future. I'll put you first at all times and make sure I become a qualified husband, okay?"
I bit my lip. "It's your own business and it has nothing to do with me. Besides, I don't control you, it's just a reminder."
He smiled and hugged me, his warm lips pressed down, and looking at his dark black eyes, I had a bad premonition and said, "Jordan, it's getting late. It's time to rest."
He raised his eyebrows. "I don't care, I'll do it!"
In hindsight, I realized what he meant by "I can't come".
