###Chapter 618 Who Asked For It But Not – Part 12
Ivelle sat by Aaron's bed and could not help looking at her cellphone. There was nothing. She was a little disappointed and sighed.
The next day, Nurse Serene came to see Aaron in the morning and said she went downstairs to buy some food. There was a bed in the ward to accompany the patient. Ivelle was not used to sleeping. In addition, her period did not let her sleep well all day, and she could not help but feel a little tired.
Aaron just woke up and saw that the dark circles under her eyes were so deep that he could not help asking, "Did you stay up late again last night?"
She shook her head and smiled. "No, I'm just worried about you. You'll be all right if you get better soon."
He frowned slightly and was about to get up. Ivelle hurriedly pressed his shoulder. "You can't move yet because the wound has just been stitched up. It's easy to cause a second injury, and it's troublesome to leave sequelae."
Fortunately, he was obedient enough and continued to lie down. Nurse Serene bought porridge. Aaron had just finished his operation and could only eat porridge so she fed him a few mouthfuls. Probably because the wound was not very comfortable, he did not seriously eat and finish it. Instead, he looked at her with a pair of questioning eyes. "There is someone taking care of me here so you don't have to worry. Go home and have a good sleep. The weather is going to be cold these two days, and your resistance is declining. It's easy for you to get sick!"
Ivelle smiled and nodded to him, "OK, I see!"
After chatting for a while, he fell asleep again.
Thinking that she should stay there for a few days, it would be the Mid-Autumn Festival soon, so she could not help but think about going back to the villa to pack up her things.
Thinking like this, she did it right away.
She thought Jordan would not be in the villa, but when she went in to pick up her clothes, a series of clothes he used to wear in the cupboard had disappeared. Obviously, he might have left for somewhere. As for where to go, Ivelle had no idea.
She could not say what it felt like, but it was not good anyway.
After packing up some usual warm clothes and daily necessities, she went directly to the hospital and calculated the time. There were still three or four days before the Mid-Autumn Festival.
She was afraid Aaron's injury would not heal for a while in three or four days. It seemed that she might not be able to go back to the capital during the Mid-Autumn Festival.
When she returned to the hospital, Ivelle had already asked for leave from work at William, so she basically stayed there to take care of Aaron. There was basically nothing to do, just talking with him and occasionally helping him to do rehabilitation and all its ilk.
The case in Cape Oaks Village was originally in the stage of on hold, and the rest of the work was taken over by Linda.
Ivelle spent most of her time in the hospital with Aaron.
On the fourth day, he could barely take a few more steps. He was in a good mood and offered to peel an apple himself. For the past few days, his whole arm was so numb that he could not move because of his rib injury.
For a normal person, the arm could not be forced. And his heart was more or less depressed; he could not help but be happy, so let him cut himself.
The cellphone on the nightstand rang again, and he just glanced at it faintly, then looked away and turned a blind eye to it.
He did not answer the calls in the past few days. When Ivelle saw who the caller ID was, she was shocked that it was Jane!
"She might be worried about you. You should at least answer her calls and tell her that you're fine!" She opened her mouth to speak and looked at Aaron.
He peeled the apple using his hands slightly then looked at me and curled his lips, "Is it because of her existence?"
This was a bit baffling, but she suddenly reacted and shook her head. She frowned and reprimanded him, "Aaron, you're crazy! It's not because of anyone, but because it's just the two of us. Jane is a good girl. You shouldn't let her down."
He bowed his head and continued to peel the fruit. He did not seem to be listening to her. By the way, she could never easily wake a person up pretending to be asleep.
When the evening came, Blossom called and her mood was very high. It was evident when she started talking, "Mom, grandma said that the Mid-Autumn Festival is coming soon! The kindergarten teacher said, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a day of family reunion, are you done with your work? Will you be back soon?"
Ivelle could not help sighing. She wanted to tell Blossom that she could not go back, but she was worried that the little girl would be very sad when she heard it.
She hung up the phone and she saw Aaron looking at her. He smiled and said, "If you wanted to go back to the capital to see Blossom, then you should go back. Do not worry about me, Nurse Serene is here anyway. It would only be a few days, it would not affect anything, you know."
That was true, but it was not appropriate for him to be here alone during the Mid-Autumn Festival.
And at that time, the streets and alleys were quite busy, Nurse Serene would more or less go home to have a look and he was alone in the hospital. Thinking about it was a bit lonely.
If he let Jane come to A city, Ivelle did not know if it would work! When she thought of this, she could not help but made the decision herself.
That was to call Jane to come to A City.
In the hospital lobby, while she was out shopping, Ivelle called Jane and the phone hung up without ringing a few times. She paused for a moment, but without much thought, she still continued to call. After repeating twice, the other end of the line picked up.
She seemed to know it was Ivelle and so she asked in an irritated tone, "Ivelle, what do you want? Would you like to show off to me how comfortable you are with him at this time?"
Ivelle pursed her lips slightly, sighed, and said, "Come on, Jane, stop. You're thinking too much. I'm calling you because I just want to tell you that Aaron needs to be taken care of in the hospital. After all, he was injured in Cape Oaks Village. It will be the Mid-Autumn Festival in a few days. He may not be able to go back to the capital to accompany you for a while. If you could, could you come to A City? Although Aaron is indifferent, he is more afraid of loneliness than anyone else in his bones. If you could come, he might also feel the warmth of home in the lights of every corner."
There was a moment of silence on the other end of the line. "Ivelle, why are you helping me?"
Ivelle shrugged as if Jane could see her did that. "Don't think about it. I didn't help you. I did it because I owe him so much of my life. I hope from the bottom of my heart that he has a good life, someone who would truly love and give him a sense of belonging to everything in this world and makes him feel like he really belongs. I can't sit on all these things for him, but you can!"
The other end of the phone was still silent for a moment and said, "I hope you think the same as you said."
She did not say much. When Ivelle hung up the phone, she could not help feeling a little wandering. According to her calculation, Jordan and she had no contact for three days now and he did not take the initiative to call her nor did he have any information.
......
After the call, Jane came up quickly and she came at noon the next day. Her sudden appearance made Aaron a little unhappy, but she was a girl with a several-month-old child in her arms and a large suitcase. She was as delicate as a doll. He almost did not recognize her when she showed up at the door of the ward.
They could not imagine that the woman was originally fashionable, beautiful, and elegant. But then one day, she carried a child in her arms and her delicate high heels were replaced by flats. The soft waves no longer existed, but cluttered together and tied to her head with a tie rope. Even the good-looking dress she liked to wear had become loose and comfortable trousers and her clothes were baggy sweaters, for the convenience of breastfeeding. She should not be wearing a corset, so she was vaguely wet in front of her.
