###Chapter 64 Parker Wanted To Make The Relationship Public
The cell phone was muted, and I called again. As soon as the other end was connected, I heard, "Director, it's not good. Boss Parker issued a notice last night, asking all the media reporters to open their relationship with you. Now there are a lot of reporters and spectators waiting downstairs in the Astley Company and wants to watch you in person."
'Make his relationship with me public? So, was there something wrong with Parker's brain?'
I got up and opened the curtains. The sun was just right, birds singing and flowers fragrant.
With the displeasure in my heart, I said to the phone, "Don't worry, I'm not going to the company today. Parker is at least an adult who knows what to do!"
She said a little cautiously, "Are you and Boss Astley all right?"
I nodded. "Everything's fine."
After hanging up the phone, I went downstairs and saw Mrs. Marcela in the kitchen. I looked around, but I didn't see Jordan. I went out of the kitchen and asked Mrs. Marcela, "Has Jordan left already?"
Marcela was absorbed in her work that when she suddenly heard a sound, she was frightened. She saw me later and said with a smile, "He said that he had something to do in the morning and left in a hurry. I stewed tonic soup. Have some. It's good for the child!"
I nodded and touched my bulging belly. I always felt as if I had put on weight these days.
When Maisie called, I was still eating soup. Seeing that she was worried, I stopped my movements and said, "What's the matter? Was something wrong?"
"I read the headlines. It was too vulgar. What if Liam sees it?" Maisie was afraid of Liam, and so was I.
So, when she mentioned Liam, I felt depressed.
"I will find a way to solve it as soon as possible! Don't worry, stay at home and have a rest these days and don't run around. "
I didn't know when Liam would read the Hempstead headlines, but before he does, I should ask Jordan for protection.
After hanging up the phone, I simply had something to eat and went out. To my surprise, I met Erin. To be exact, she came to see me.
The villa of the Astley's was very lowkey. So, when Jordan and I got married, the people who knew us and were already familiar with this place were the only ones who knew about this villa.
Erin Wesley was dressed so elegantly. She was wearing such a beautiful expensive dress that matched her branded bag and heels.
I was distracted for about two seconds, then I smiled and said, "Boss Erin, I'm really sorry, I didn't know you were coming. I'm sorry!"
She smiled a little and said mildly, "I came uninvited. Miss Ivelle doesn't have to blame herself."
The villa was divided into the front and backyard, Jordan and I eat and live in the backyard. The front yard was the usual place to entertain guests, and the tea garden flower pond was in the front yard.
I led Erin to the tea garden. I asked Mrs. Marcela to prepare some fruit cakes, then I boiled water on the tea table and looked at Erin. "What was it that you wanted to talk to me about?"
She shook her head and her eyes fell on my hand as I was making tea. "I'm here to see Miss Ivelle. Erin said, "Miss Ivelle has such beautiful hands."
I chuckled with Erin's polite and constant greetings, "Mrs. Erin, you make me laugh. Your hands are only exquisitely maintained." That was all that women say to each other.
But when she came here, she was definitely not implicit with me. I found out Jordan's collection of thousand-year-old tree tea, and said with a smile, "I usually don't drink much tea, but I always like to drink it carefully. Today, I present myself with his collection of good tea to you, Erin. You can't dislike my craftsmanship."
She laughed and looked at the tea cake in my hand and said with a smile, "This is 20-year-old old tree tea. Money can't buy it in the market. It was fate to drink such a good tea. I have to thank Miss Ivelle."
I smiled so low that I couldn't help figuring out what Erin came here for. I drank a few sips of tea with her, and for a long time I couldn't help but say, "After our long chat, I still don't know what Boss Erin wants to talk to me about."
She sipped her tea and looked at me with beautiful eyes. "It doesn't matter," she said in a shallow voice. "It's just that the last time I saw you in the pear orchard, I felt a little familiar between your eyebrows and eyes, so I have always wanted to come and see you."
I was shocked. I thought it would be about me and Parker. As a mother, she came to me and said that she was surprised that she came here for this.
When I added tea to her, I said with a smile, "Boss Parker said the same thing to me a few days ago, saying that he was familiar with it, but it was normal. There are many people in the world, and I am a bit like Miss Nicole, you know."
Last time in the restaurant, I saw her with Nicole, so I didn't hide it.
She was stunned for a moment, but just smiled and said, "That's right. Are Miss Ivelle's parents still there?"
I shook my head and wondered, "My parents left when I was very young. I grew up with my grandmother and have no impression of them."
"Is your grandmother still here?" Her question was so detailed that it was a little too much. Maybe for a moment she realized something was wrong, changed her tone slightly and looked at me and said, "Miss Ivelle, don't take it the wrong way. I'm just a curious person, so I like to get to the bottom of everything."
At this point, she took out a very exquisite and expensive invitation from her bag and handed it to me, "I will hold a small party in the Escala tonight. If Miss Ivelle doesn't, she can come with Mr. Astley."
I raised my hand and took the invitation. I couldn't help but open it. It was only when I saw that it was a birthday post that I remembered that Parker mentioned to me yesterday that his mother was celebrating her birthday tonight.
Putting the invitation away properly, I looked at Erin and said, "Thank you, Boss Erin. It's an honor to be invited."
She laughed, drank a sip of tea with her eyes down, paused and looked at me and said, "Miss Ivelle, you and Boss Astley have been married for two years. The last time I saw you and Boss Astley went to the Pear Garden, you seemed to have a good relationship."
I smiled lightly. I was originally an unfamiliar person, so it was not convenient to say more. After drinking tea for a while, Lin Aster still had something to leave.
When Mrs. Marcela saw that she was gone, she looked at me and said, "Ivelle, was that the richest woman?"
I was a little surprised. I looked at Sister Marcela and said, "Do you know her?"
Marcela nodded. "She used to go to Astley's old house when Don was around. I've seen her before." After a pause, she murmured, "She has been looking for a child for so many years, but still hasn't found the child."
I was a little curious and couldn't help and ask, "Mrs. Marcela, how do you she is looking for a child?"
"Back then, she asked Don about what happened 20 years ago. I heard their conversation when I was bringing them tea and water. Don helped her look for her child all these years, but her child has been missing for about 20 years now. She didn't know what her child looked like, so it's impossible to be able to find that child now, in this big world."
