###Chapter 79 I Will Protect You Even If I Die Trying
###Chapter 79 I Will Protect You Even If I Die Trying
Jordan glanced at Ivelle, lowered his eyes, and smiled, "Do you care about me?"
Not really!
"I am in the car, too. I also still have one other person in my belly. One corpse could lose two lives!"
He lowered his eyes, with a little helplessness in his eyes, and clasped her hand and said, "Don't worry, because even if it means I die trying, I will protect you both mother and baby."
If she didn't tell him more, she thought of Caldwell Blakely in her mind. She suddenly thought of the car that picked up Kyle Branson downstairs today, which seemed to be a black Cadillac.
At that time, far away, she didn't see the man's face clearly. She couldn't help twisting her eyebrows slightly, and she felt a little uneasy in her heart.
She was speechless all the way, and when she got to the villa, she was a little drowsy.
Jordan took her out of the car, went straight back to the bedroom, put her on the bed, and he said, "Don't go to sleep yet until you wash up first."
She was a little confused. She couldn't help being selfish when she got into bed. She pulled the quilt and planned to go to sleep like this.
Jordan seemed to see through her intention, fished her out of the quilt, went into the bathroom, and said in a quiet voice, "Wash up, or you'll feel sick tomorrow morning."
She felt her tired body hanging on him, vaguely reaching out to squeeze toothpaste, but she did not want to be taken away by Jordan.
He helped her squeeze the toothpaste. He took the water, and handed it to her, "Brush your teeth well. In this way, it seems like I'm scolding a child."
She held her toothbrush and murmured, "I'm not a child."
He smiled. "I see no difference."
After tossing and washing, she didn't seem to be so sleepy. Lying on the bed, she laid down when she saw Jordan. He took the opportunity to hold her in his arms, with his chin on her neck. "Tonight, I want you to have a good rest."
She picked her eyebrows. "Did you say that to yourself?"
He opened his eyes, looked at her, and raised the corners of his mouth. "What I said to you is what is said when one sees his master. It was a natural reaction, so you should be more tolerant."
This guy really drove her crazy anytime and anywhere.
She curled her lips, raised her hand, and pushed him, "You stink. Go wash up."
He smiled and said, "Where do I stink?"
"All of you stinks!" She closed her eyes and was ready to go to sleep, when his voice faintly came to her ear, "Ivelle, shall we live a good life in the future? Huh?"
Her heart slightly tugged at the pain for a while, and her lips were silent. Could she really live a good life?
"Jordan, do you love me?" This question was a bit idiotic, but it was a common problem for girls.
He raised his hand, his palm pressed against her face, and his fingertips touched her earrings. "What about you?"
I?
She was a little shaky as it had been too long. For Jordan, she fell in love at first sight. In the later days, she relied on the beauty she had when she first met him. She had been waiting until now, but time had passed and she couldn't get a response. She didn't seem to be so persistent at the beginning. She began to plan to leave him.
Maybe, not as much as she thought.
Seeing her silent, the light in his eyes darkened, and he said after a while, "It's all right. We'll take our time. We'll love each other deeply in the future."
She said nothing and pushed him slightly, "Go and take a shower. I'm tired."
It had been a long time. It was time to let go. She was really tired.
He dropped a kiss on her forehead then got up. He got out of bed and went into the bathroom.
She stared at the ceiling in a daze.
The cell phone he left on the bed vibrated. She didn't intend to answer it, but it kept ringing, so she clicked on it.
"Jordan, can you come and accompany me? I'm scared to be alone." Nicole Blakely's voice was weak and small.
After taking a look at the bathroom, Ivelle said, "He's in the shower. You can call later!"
"Ivelle!" Listening to the tone, she was very unhappy. "Why are you answering the phone for Jordan? What are you doing?"
Ivelle was a little distressed by her, "I said he is in the shower, so you can call later!"
"Ivelle, you are shameless." She sometimes think that Nicole was really ordinary. She had ordinary intentions. Apart from crying and making trouble, she couldn't even hang herself. If she was not beautiful, a girl like her couldn't really pose a threat.
"Well, I'm shameless. I'm going to take care of his physical problems when I'm pregnant, so Miss Blakely, you can call him crazily." She really didn't disgust her. She just hated the feeling of entanglement day and night. She was very tired.
Before the heartbreaking cry of Nicole came, Ivelle hung up ahead of time.
Throwing her phone aside, she pinched her eyebrows and looked up to see Jordan standing at the bathroom door. A pair of dark and cold eyes really stared at her.
She was not shy, and said, "Nicole's phone call was too noisy, so I answered it, and she wants you to accompany her."
Lying in bed, it was already a midsummer day, and she always felt so cold that she couldn't help but shrink into the quilt.
"Well, what did you reply?" When he asked the question, his eyes were dark and his tone was very faint, as if he was just asking casually and had no other meaning.
"I told her to call you later." Huddled in the quilt, it felt a little warm, and so she closed her eyes to brew her drowsiness.
His low laughter was faintly heard in the air. The position beside her sank, and the hair on her forehead was pulled aside by him.
She opened her eyes to him.
He smiled. "Ivelle, I'm your husband. Another woman called me in the middle of the night to accompany me. Shouldn't you quarrel with me?"
She was stupefied. She got up from bed, looked at him, and said, "Then don't stay here tonight. Go somewhere else."
He froze, raised his hand, rubbed her forehead, and said helplessly, "You are my wife, so even if we quarrel, we will be in the house."
Knowing that she could not beat him, she did not say a word and laid down again.
Her waist was pulled by him. He pulled her in his arms, and he picked up his eyebrows, "So you're just going to sleep?"
She was a little irritated by him. She looked at him and said, "My hands are sore. Go to the bathroom and do it yourself. People can't stand it every day, not to mention pregnant women."
The color of his eyes deepened slightly, and the smile at the corners of his mouth deepened. "It's an honor to make you think I'm so strong."
She?
Was this tough?
Ignoring him, she closed her eyes to rest.
His voice softened a little. "Don't rush to sleep. Don't you like it when it's wet? Get up and dry me before you go to sleep."
She twisted her eyebrow and said, "Do it yourself."
Jordan's chin pressed against her shoulder, and his hands were very familiar. "Some things are done by husband and wife together."
Forget it. Just go on like this. She was not going to sleep.
Getting up from his arms, she sat up straight, picked up the towel he had thrown aside, and half knelt on the bed to wipe his hair.
He had some drops of water on his upper body, and she pursed her lips. Didn't he know how to wipe himself before going to bed?
"You got the bed wet!" She opened her mouth, and her eyes fell on the wet patch under him. She was a little displeased. "Next time you are still wet, don't go to bed to rest yet."
He chuckled. "OK, next time you wipe it for me in the bathroom."
She pursed her lips and ignored him.
Drying him, she laid down and went back to sleep. He didn't know what to do. He turned around and came back with some bottles and cans in his hand.
