Chapter 14

Right as I got off the elevator, I saw Colton’s back right away. He was looking around while waiting for me. I grinned as I opened my mouth to call him.

A hand suddenly covered my mouth and stopped me. An arm snaked around my waist, my back hit against a strong chest. I tried to resist and screamed but my voice was muffled against a callous hand covering my mouth.

Fortunately, I was able to whirl around and see the intruder. I scowled when I saw his androgynous face. His arm tightened around me when I tried to push him by his chest. His hand loosened against my mouth so I ripped it away.

“Let go of me.” I said while shaking him off. His other arm joined the other. It was getting harder to escape.

“No.” He deadpanned.

“Get away, Nile. I will fucking cut your arm. Let go of me, damn it!” He didn’t say anything but only kept tightening his hold on me.

I turned around again. My back was against his chest. I wiggled. My arms reach for an imaginary rail to hold on to. My legs started kicking but he still didn’t let me go.

We looked completely comical. Everyone in the lobby was looking at us. Some were embarrassed to look at us. Even the receptionist, Callie, was looking at us strangely with eyes widened in awe.

“Seriously, Nile, let go of me.” I whined, gradually stopping my movements. I was already tired from so much effort I put into resisting. He didn’t even budge.

His arms slowly unwind… finally. I looked up to see his face and realized he was staring into something. I looked at the direction of his sight and saw he was looking at a man who just walked into the entrance. He was wearing a blue business suit with two men behind him.

His arms fell languidly to his side and I took a distance from him. His sharp cat eyes fell back to me swiftly. He was still angry. His eyebrows were forming a bridge to his forehead and nostrils flared. He was glaring at me.

“Don’t think about it.” He warned.

“We’re just going to have lunch. Too bad you’re in a business meeting.” I shrugged which irked him even more. I couldn’t stop my annoying smirk from leaking out of my face.

He took a threatening step towards me. I subconsciously stepped back in alarm. My eyes widened at what he’s going to do.

“You’re going to have a serious punishment if you’re going with him, Miss Kunoe.” He said through gritted teeth.

I grinned and shrugged. “I’ll take my chances, Mister Veselov.”

His opened mouth was interrupted when suited men called Nile’s attention. I quickly escaped and stomped towards Colton who was waiting for me. I was right that those men were here for Nile and from the looks of it they’re really going to have an important meeting today.

I couldn’t stop the grin on my face when I was able to escape from him. Plus, he was extremely irritated. It’s his fault anyways. He also finds ways to make me mad.

Colton was grinning mischievously when I finally saw his face clearly. This jerk saw us. Just when I managed to stay clear away from the topic of Nile Veselov. He’s going to tease the hell out of me again. Fuck it.

“Shut up.” I warned just as I reached in front of him.

He smirked playfully. “I didn’t even say anything.” He then followed behind me when I walked directly towards the exit. “You know he’s definitely gonna follow us regardless.” He teased while bumping his shoulder against mine.

“Nope. Cause we’re going to the cheapest restaurant there is.” I then grabbed his wrist and dragged him, like I said, to the cheapest restaurant there is. Colton laughed along the way as we walked in the streets of Manhattan.

The lunch took longer than expected. We seriously needed a lot of time for catching up. I guess that happens when I went AWOL from him for three years.

I opened the door of my office with a sigh. Colton made me realize how boring my work is today. Should I just skip instead? He’s probably on his way home.

All of the sudden, I was pushed inside with a force. The door shut close and the intruder slammed me against the door. I squealed in surprise but sighed in relief when I saw my eyes’ replica.

“Really?” I bellowed.

His hand went around my neck, thumb stroking my throat. “Why do you always test my patience?” His voice was raspy and domineering.

“As far as I remember, you brought this upon yourself. Remember the first time we met?” My eyebrow and lips lifted upwards.

“I hope you enjoy my punishment, lyubimaya.”

Just as I wondered what the word meant, I heard the lock of the door clicked. My eyes widened but I didn’t have time to react when he yanked me towards my desk.

“Nile, no.” Suddenly feeling nervous of what he’s gonna do. “Your employees are gonna hear us.

“No worries. Every office here is soundproof.” Still not letting go of my hand.

“I thought you’re strict with your policies and you're breaking your own rules.” He was watching me intently. He knew I was trying to evade him.

“Nice try.” He then presses his body against mine. He dipped his head, lips grazing my ears. “You’re only delaying the inevitable.” He rasped.

He then turned me around with roughness. His front pressed against my back. His arm snaked around my stomach, holding me tightly against him. His other hand slid inside my shirt with no shame, stealthily, unclasping my bra.

My eyes widened. “Is this your way of punishment?” I smirked. “Darling, this will only bring me- ahh.” I moaned. “Nile.” I whined as I felt his hand squeezed my breast greedily. His fingers tweaked the bud. I didn’t notice his other hand went inside my pants, sneaking its way towards my sex.

“Fucking hell. You’re such a horny bastard. I bet this is just your excuse so you could fuck me.” I said in between moans.

“Perhaps.” He purred against my ear.

I was rolling my eyes when he rubbed and stroked both of my sensitive parts. My head lolled back to his shoulder. His lips dipped towards my neck. His tongue went out to join the fun, licking my neck like it’s some ice cream.

“Oh my god. Fuck. Stop it… Nile. Shit. Somebody's going to open that fucking door.” I couldn’t stop my moans. I was afraid it would still penetrate despite the soundproof.

“It’s locked.”

“Quinn will come.”

“Relax. The only person who has keys to this office is me.” I couldn’t hear what he said. I was busy riding his long slender fingers that were already busy thrusting in and out inside me.

His lips twitched, which I know what that meant. He found amusement in my frustration. My scowl deepened. “I’m sure you won’t appreciate dressing your table with our cum.”

“Now, now. You know my penthouse is just floors above.”

“Yeah, go there and fuck yourself, Veselov. Oh, there’s a door behind you. Get out.” I snapped.

He chuckled before turning around facing the door but he didn’t walk out as I expected. His voice was dark and serious. “Don’t provoke me again, Kura. I’m serious. I might succumb to desire today. I’m not so sure next time.” His speech didn’t end there though. His head turned halfway but didn’t face me. “I should remind you by the way.” He paused.

“I don’t do one night stands.”

He then left.
