Emma's trick

*Emma POV*

I Laid down closing my eyes, waiting for him to come and grab me. Yes! He did. He Carried me up with his strong arm though he seems to be very weak as he's struggling to lift me up unlike other occasions.

His face was designed with bruises, stains of blood all over his face. He lifted me on his shoulder and carried me to our room. Why is he taking me to the bed when he's supposed to rush me to the hospital.?

As he dropped me on the bed, I opened my eyes small and saw him collecting his phone from his pocket. What did he want to do?

"Hello?" He said few seconds later.

"Sweetie, How can I help you." The voice from the call asked. It's a female voice. An...and she just called him sweetie. Who could she be.?

I Became jealous at the moment. I feel like grabbing the phone from him but I won't dare. I have to continue in my pretense.

"I guess you know Emma's house." He asked.

"Yes , sure" She replied.

"Ok, Can you make it here now. She hit her head on the wall and passed out." He said.

"Can't you bring her to the hospital" She asked.

"Please rush to her house now, am very weak, I can't drive at the moment." He said.

"OK, am coming". She replied.

"Please be fast about it" He said and hung up then looked at me. I was fast enough to close my eyes again.

I was laying down,hoping he will come and hold my hand, then tell me that he loves me but he didn't.

It seems he's doesn't need me in his life again. I've made a very big mistake. I would have accepted his proposal. We would have been happy together now. I want to feel stubborn, i wanted to Make it hard for him but as its going now, It seems he has loosed interest in me.

He sat on the couch opposite me, crossed his legs and start pressing his phone. I didn't expect this attitude from him. I thought he would come , sat closed to me and start telling me sweet words.

Few minutes later, the doctor showed up. I opened my eyes a little to glance a look at the doctor that called Louise sweetie.

My nerve calmed down as i saw her. She is an old lady, old enough to be louise mother. How will he be calling him sweetie. I know Louise won't date that type of lady. She look like the lady louise took me to after he had a rough sex with me years ago.

I closed my eyes as she came close to me. She checked me, open my eyes with her hand and stared at me.

"Can you give us some privacy?" She asked louise who got up and left closing the door behind him.

She turned to me and I opened my eyes. I know she had noticed am ok. So I sat up, laying my back at the adge of the bed.

"I can see you are perfectly fine.So why are you displaying your acting skills to him." She said with a low tune.

"We had some issues, so I don't want him to leave. I acted fainted so he won't leave me" I said with a sad face.

"Can you tell me" she asked.

"It's a very long story". I said.

"I can seeee. It's alright, I will help you keep him for one week" she said smiling at.

"One week? Oh my God! How will you do it?". I asked.

"Don't worry about it, i will handle it. Since you can act well, Just make sure you make use of the opportunity". She said.

"Thats not a problem, am a woman". I said.

"That's the vibe, don't disappoint me." She said smiling at me.

"Thank you very much". I said.

She brought her phone and called Louise. Not up to a minute and he's in.

"I've run a check on her. she will wake up but she needs air." She said.

"Air? How?". He asked.

"Don't act as if you don't know what I mean. Do it now or it will jump to coma".She said and I smiled in my heart. She's really a genius.

"Can't you give it to her". He said.

"How can you stand here and watch me give her air when you are here. Don't annoy me Louise". She said.

"We don't have time, do it now and save her life". She added.

I was just lying down,opening my eyes a little bit, watching them.

He hestitated and eventually accepted.

"If that will solve the problem, I will do it". He said and walk close to me. I remained in my position. Waiting for the drama I've lunched.

He open my mouth and blow some air without touching my lips.

"You are annoying me mike, what are you doing!". She yelled at him.

*Mike pov*

I hate what is happening at the moment. I swear never to have anything to do with her after she turned me down. Not that I hate her, i don't just want her in my life again.

I only Came to save her life, not to do what am doing now. I will definitely kiss her if I do it in a proper way.

I opened her mouth, keeping a distance from her, I blow air into her mouth while avoiding my lips from touching hers.

"What are you doing Louise". The doctor asked looking annoyed.

I don't like what am about to do but I have to do it to save her life. With that motivation,I open her mouth again and bend my head down to her.

Our lips touched which sent electric shock to my system. Her lips were really soft and sweet. I nearly forgot what I wanted to do.

I blow air five times, raised my head and check if she had opened her eyes. Her eyes was still shut close and I blow her again and again. The fifth times and I felt her lips move. It seems she wanted to respond to my kiss and I raised my head up immediately.

I looked up to her and yes! She has opened my eyes while smiling at me. Why will she be smiling at me when she don't love me. Why the smile when she don't want me again.

"I think I Have to go since she have recoverd". I said.

"Going to where? Who are you leaving her with. As you can see, she's still weak. She need someone that can take care of her". She said.

"She have maids". I replied.

"Maid? Since I came here, i haven't seen any". She said.

"But she have maid." I said and turned to Emma to ask her about her maids but her eyes where close, it seems she's sleeping already. She look cute while sleeping.

What happened to her maids.? Where would they be?

"So since her maid are not around, you have to take good care of her till she gets herself". She said writing something on a paper.

"But..". I tried to say and she cuts me and said "Make sure she take this drugs" Giving me the paper.

"I have things to settle at the moment, especially at the police station". I said.

"If you Have anything that is more important than her life, you can go and leave her die". She said and walked out without looking back.

I stares at emma who was lying peacefully on the bed.

What will l do Now? So I will be here with her? And take care of her and the kids till she recovers? God!

I only came to rescue her not to do this.
