I Love You Alaska

Alaska POV

I hear his footsteps coming down the hall. I know it is Alpha Kai. I know the way he walks, the way he breathes, and the way he sounds when he is upset or nervous. Alpha Kai is right outside my door; he is standing there, waiting or maybe trying to get up the courage to face me. Alpha Kai knows he is wrong for what he is doing to me; hell, the entire pack knows he is wrong.  My heart is breaking because of him.

I move the covers and sit on the side of the bed. I can see Alpha Kai's shadow under the door. I should help him a little. Why? I am so angry with him, but he did come to either apologize or check on me. I am not sure I can forgive him, but I will listen to what he has to say. After all, we are having a baby together. That might not be true.

I rub my flat belly. I could have Finn's child or Alpha Kai's child. I do not know and will not know until Doctor James does an ultrasound, and even then, it could be off or wrong. What do I tell Finn? What do I tell Alpha Kai? Why am I apologizing? I am not the one that fucked a whore!

I take a deep breath. I am upsetting myself. I open the door. Alpha Kai looks shocked to see me. "Why are you here?" I ask him.

Alpha Kai looks pitiful. I have never seen him like this. He looks heartbroken and sad. Good! He should be hurting for what he did to me. Not only did he hurt me, but he embarrassed me in front of our pack.

Alpha Kai looks down the hall toward Finn's room. "I came to talk to Finn and to tell him something. I talked to Finn and Beta Bailey for a while," Alpha Kai says.

I move from the door and walk back to my bed. He waits a moment and then walks into the hospital room with me. "I know I fucked up," Alpha Kai says.

I move the covers around on the hospital bed. I want to cry. I want to scream. I want to hit him until he hurts like I do, but he is hurting from the looks of him. I hope he is broken! He deserves all the pain he caused me.

"I know you fucked up too. I know you hurt me! I know I am furious with you. Why did you do this to me? Why?" I scream at him.

I sit down on the side of the bed. I cannot stop the crying. I can feel my face swelling as I try not to look at him, but I cannot stop looking at him. I love him so much. "HOW COULD YOU!?" I scream!

I am breathing so hard and crying so hard that I cannot catch my breath. Alpha Kai sits beside me and pulls me into his arms. "I love you. I am sorry for what I did. I will not ask you to forgive me, but please allow me to care for you," Alpha Kai says.

I pull away from him. "You want me to be your live-in whore or mistress while you fuck every wolf in the pack! Not going to happen! You do not deserve my baby or me!" I scream

Alpha Kai pulls me back into his arms. I ball up my fist and hit his chest. "I know I do not deserve you. I will not beg you to stay in my life, but I do want to make sure you have a good life, even if it is not with me," Alpha Kai says.

It clicks in my brain. "Is that what you wanted to talk to Finn about today? You wanted to ask him to take me off your hands?" I question him.

Alpha Kai lets go of me. I have angered him. Good, now we are both pissed. "You seem to care for him. Sometimes more than you care for me. Yes, I wanted answers, and I got the answers I wanted from Finn. I was stupid. Finn told me you did not love him. He told me to tell you the truth, and that is what I am trying to do," Alpha Kai says.

I stand up to Alpha Kai. "The truth is you stuck your cock in a whore. That is the truth!" I scream at him.

Alpha Kai leans down and kisses me. "I was wrong. I fucked Kim because I thought you still loved Finn. It was wrong, and I am sorry for it. But before you throw me completely away and the love I have for you, remember you are hiding a secret too," Alpha Kai says.

Alpha Kai touches my belly. "We both know this is not my baby, but I will raise this child as mine and keep you and this baby safe from any future harm because I love you," Alpha Kai says.

I stand in front of him. "I am not sure if this is your baby or Finn's, but no matter what, after I was with you, there was no other man in my life," I answer him.

"That child is mine, and you will be my wife. I love you, Alaska," Alpha Kai says. He grabs me and pulls me to him. His lips press onto my lips. My first instinct is to pull away from him, scream at him and run, but then suddenly, his thoughts rush into my mind. I can hear his love for me.

I look into his eyes for a moment when he lets go of me. "If you ever cheat on me again, it is over. I will leave, and I will never return," I say.

Alpha Kai pull me into his arms and holds me. "I cannot live without you, Alaska. I want us to be a family," Alpha Kai says.

I bury my head into his chest. "Then you have a lot of things to change in your pack," I say softly.

"I know," Alpha Kai says.

"Does this mean the wedding is back on?" Beta Bailey asks from the doorway.

I smile at her, then look up at Alpha Kai. "I think it does," I answer her.
