Chapter 105: The Graphic Scene
My twins closed their eyes and slept on my chest. I smiled to see the black and red hair lay next to each other. It was so peaceful. If only Cameron were here ….
Mimi and Melanie showed up at the door. They peeked inside and grinned when they saw the twins. Then they approached me.
“Congratulations, mistress! What a lovely day to have your pups come into the world,” Mimi said, still grinning to see my pups on my chest.
“Thank you, Mimi.” I handed over my son to an Iota and my daughter to another one.
“Anna, congratulations for being a mother!” Melanie kissed my cheeks. “How are you feeling right now?”
“Thanks, Mel. Oh, it’s indescribable!” Yawning for a few seconds, I smiled at my best friend. “At first, there was only pain, fear, and worries, but then, joy, peace, and wonder.” I held Melanie’s hand and shed my tears. “I feel complete. It feels perfect.”
Melanie wiped my tears and smiled. “It’s wonderful! You don’t know how terrified Psi Mimi and I were when we knew something bad happened again to you.” She shook her head and sighed. “I thought you enjoyed a date with our Alpha. But then, I was confused since I knew our Alpha was in the meeting with our Elders and our warriors.”
I gasped and covered my mouth with a hand. “Warriors?! Where is Cameron now?”
“He rushed to the Hurricane Dawn Pack after discovering someone tricked you and pretended to be him. He assumed the worst that it was Alpha Bill, and they headed to the Hurricane Dawn Pack right away with our warriors.”
“Oh, no! Will they start a war?” My temple started throbbing now. I didn’t want to be the reason our packs conflicted. It would be terrible to start my days as a Luna-to-be.
“I think so.”
I bit my lower lip. “I need to go there and stop the war.”
Melanie shook her head. “No, you need to stay here and rest. It won’t help our Alpha if you go there. You will distract him.”
“But—”
“Anna, you just gave birth to his pups. He will need you to be here for your pups.” When I wanted to argue, Melanie added quickly, “Besides, Beta Nate is still here too. As his second-in-command, he should be there, but he’s here to protect you and our pack.”
Melanie was right. I must stay here and wait for Cameron, though waiting sucked. I yawned again. The whole thing—the manipulation, kidnapping, attempting rape, and delivering my pups—drained my energy.
“Mistress, please have a rest.” Mimi put a blanket around my body. “Don’t worry about the twins. Melanie and I will consult with the Theta and Iotas to learn how to tend them.”
“Thank you, Mimi.” Then I fell asleep as quickly as my eyes shut.

After bringing Anna to Cameron’s house, I went to the dungeon. Looking around, I didn’t see the traitor here. Where did the warriors bring him?
I left the dungeon and headed to Cameron’s house. I sat on the porch and opened the mind link and contacted one of them. ‘Where is our traitor?’
‘Who, Beta?’ the warrior asked.
‘Our spy—Michael Wolfe.’ I growled, as I wanted to kick and punch his face. How dared he try to harm our Luna-to-be? He invited death, for sure.
‘Oh, that one. We buried his corpse already.’
I was stunned to hear that. ‘You what?! Did you kill him?’
The warrior chuckled and clucked his tongue. ‘I wish, Beta Nate. However, our Luna-to-be did the work for us.’
I furrowed my forehead as what the warriors said sank in my mind. ‘Wait, let me clear this. So, do you mean our Luna killed him already?’
‘Precisely, Beta.’ Then the warrior laughed. His laugh was so cheerful and careful. ‘Our Luna is so strong. I can understand that she captured our Alpha’s heart with her outstanding beauty, but her strength and intelligence are admirable too.’
‘Why? What happened to our traitor? I’m curious now.’ I stood for a few seconds to relax my body and then sat again, trying to be more comfortable. The porch floor wasn’t a nice place to sit.
‘When we got there, we didn’t see him at first. But then, we found him on the floor. Our Luna-to-be tied Michael to the bedposts. He was naked and smothered by a blanket. We found many flower petals inside the blanket.’
I scratched my head, not so sure I could follow what I heard. ‘Flower petals? I don’t think I understand what you said.’
The warriors explained more. ‘At first, all of us were confused too, but then we smelled a distinctive scent. The flower petals had a wolfsbane aroma. So, my guess was Michael poured the wolfsbane poison out of the bouquet and made our Luna-to-be unconscious because inhaling it. Probably, later our Luna-to-be used the same bouquet to attack Michael.’
I laughed aloud to hear that. ‘Yes, I can imagine it. Anna is smart indeed. What else did you find?’
‘Uh … well … it’s rather graphic.’
‘Graphic?’ I furrowed my forehead.
‘After untying him from bed posts, removing the blanket and the flower petals, we discovered Michael was naked. His …’ the warrior gulped before continuing his words, ‘uh … groin was tied with trousers.’ He took a deep breath before talking again. ‘Then we found more flower petals. But then … Well, we saw the graphic scene.’
‘Yes?’ I was curious to know what Anna did to Michael.
‘His shaft was wounded. So many bloods there. I wonder now if Michael died because he lacked air or lost too much blood.’
I rubbed my chin. Anna was lethal! Wait until I tell Cameron this. He would be quite proud to see his mate could kill her enemy by herself. ‘I think our people won’t have any more doubts about accepting our Luna-to-be.’
The warrior chuckled. ‘Certainly not, Beta. She is amazing! She could kill her abductor alone. Oh, wait, we found some hairpins on the floor and … uh … on Michael’s shaft too. At first, I was puzzled because how could some tiny hair pins wound his shaft?’
I grinned as I knew the answer. ‘Well, most she-wolves have their secret weapons too. Some of them use silver brooches. The rest use silver hair pins and adjustable silver bracelets to protect themselves. I think our Luna-to-be used her hair pins to defend herself.’
‘It’s truly amazing! I will spread this to others. Soon, no one will look down on our Luna-to-be. She is courageous and resourceful! Who would have thought to use flower petals and small hair pins as deadly weapons?’
