Chapter 23 UNEXPECTED BEGINNING

Yukina screams

"U,uwaaaahck KKKKyyyyyyaaa!"

She falls to the ground looking at the direction of the clock with her heart panicking and her body shuddering. Suddenly, her palm felt a cold foot behind her. A feeling of worms about the foot. She trembles then turn her face to looks. A woman with long hair stares and howls at her and she screamed as she squeezed her eyes shut.

"What's wrong with you? Why are you barking like a dog?

She opens her eyes and looks in the direction of the voice, dark skin color, with dreadlocks hair. black eyes stare back at her.

"Miyu" yukina stood up holding Miyu while shuddering.

"We must leave this place at once miyu"

"Uh" why? Miyu looks perplexed

"I saw her"

"Saw who? Miyu raises an eyebrow!

"I saw her, the urban ghost legend of king crest high school. She is more fierce than the story says. Yukina describes what she saw and Tracy and Christabel walk up to her.

"You are retarded" Tracey interrupted, let's go, I found the book. You guys are a bunch of losers without a backbone.

"Let's leave".

They leave the classroom and the urban ghost. A woman on a bloodstain white dress with hair from head to her kneel picks up the black beads from the ground and she wore them into her neck. Numerous amount of dark bloody wolves surrounding her and she howls a name.

"Marta Marta marraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaai"

"K, KKKKKYYYYaaaahhhk!!" screaming at the top of his lungs. A young man wakes up from his bed panting furiously.

"Nightmare!"

The alarm bells cut in with a beeping sound. It was past six.

"Shit" I overslept"

He rushes to the shower and then in few minutes. He is dressed in his school uniform, king crest high school. He combs his hair and stares into the mirror. A reflection of his face. Fair skin, brown eyes, brown hair, and really handsome, average height.

He opens the door and walks out of his apartment and he looks into the sunny sky across the horizon with towering building city structures. A fresh wind blows from the sky where he stood. He sees ghosts floating around the city sky freely around skyscrapers and tall towers.

Today April 14, 2025. I turn 17, a year ago I began seeing things beyond the supernatural since that woman called karma came to me at the funeral ground. I pretend not to see them I mean wandering ghosts. I discover some ghosts have intelligence, some are dumb. There are demons, the devil was wolf's and they are all different. I studied them during my heartbreak. I read tons of books and understood tons of things. I have gained knowledge. after all, I will be fighting my arc enemy Marta and I need to have some kind of advantage. Ghost, If they know I can see them. I will be prone to attacks,

Marta is no longer here to babysit me anymore. My constant dreams, same dream every night. A vision of Bella's death hunts me. He continues to think aloud, karma has continued to reveal herself in my dreams. I discovered that losing Bella was predestined by fate. karma told me that my mother naming me Kurosaki which means 'to protect' was planned and design by a certain god. The thought of a god deliberately writing a script about me falling in love and then killing her just for me to learn how life works or protect some people. It makes my stomach puke. It makes no sense. During that one year, a lot changed. A lot of cops died and the main detective who knew me died along with other detectives and cops. It was a slaughter Marta did with the cops and the novel administrator found a way to lock that account saving millions of people who are dumb or u believe with a desire to read the novel. The death stops but Marta got what she wanted. My mother's brother came with a new family lawyer perhaps he suffered in the hands of Boston. parts of my mother's wealth were given to me. half bread is better than nothing. I missed school severally, failed the exam because I was always home suffering outbreaks, and at the end am going to have to repeat my second year in a new school but the reason I am in this new school is to find clues about how to end Marta for good. He stops in front of the school premises. The school walls engraved with a name.

"KING CREST HIGH SCHOOL",

A rectangular four-story building similar to a Japanese school in structure with huge sparking window glasses about it. The school building colors are bright brown and white color with a huge wall clock in the middle of the structure. Its annex has a track field, swimming structure, and other extra buildings with beautiful tall green trees.

"Kurosaki Kun" A familiar voice rang and I turn to look. A beautiful female student holding a book-running toward me on king's crests uniform. Christabel, bella's twin. She gave me the courage to start this school. She is my second reason for enrolling. I have to protect her. when I first arrived at Benin metropolis her pale skin, beautiful ocean eyes, a lovely blonde braid hair reminded me of Bella. I felt pain, she had to braid her hair because of me. She is an extremely very considerate and caring person. I must say, her Coca Cola shape body is quite impressive for her age. She is intelligent, and is a year older in age but somehow due to the transfer process. We ended up in the same class 3b, things started to turn awkward between us, when began to notice some attraction between us. Maybe I am just looking for closure for Bella. Though there is a difference in character and some facial expressions anytime I see her. It's like I am looking at Bella. it kept reminding me of her.

"What u are thinking about? Bells jump in front of him while staring into his eyes cutting his train of thoughts.

"So cute", he blushes,

"Just wondering about some stuff" he replied scratching his head.

"I see u are on your new uniform looking cute and it looks good on you. later I will show you around the school premises, and am sure you love it." The duo walks into the school.
