Chapter 27 save me

The urban ghost stretches her black arms. Her long black claw fingers grab across the neck of the duo. She holds tight squeezing the duo's neck strangling them. They both try to grasps for air suddenly she vanishes.

The duo begins to cough while they tried to get out of the pool. They were almost out of the pool when they felt a hand holding their foot. They turn their faces to look instantly they were both drags into the pool water drowning. Christabel was part of the swimming club and so she had learned to hold her breath for a period of time longer than Miyu. Miyu struggling to grasps for air but she had reached her limits with bubbles rushing out her mouth struggling to breathe. Flashes of her past plays before her eyes.

Her parents married late due to their lifestyle. Her mother had loved a man and got pregnant severally, but she aborted them due to the man was not ready for marriage. She had wasted a lot of years with a man hoping in time, she would receive his ring but he failed her. Years later, she finally happily married Yukina's dad, but could not have a child. Close to her menopause age, she finally miraculously conceived, and 9months later she gave birth to her and she was the only child. Eji, squeeze his eyes open. He was staring at the ceiling at a top of a bed with the wind blowing from the window. He roams his eyes looking around and recognized his surroundings. He was at the school infirmary.

"What the hell happened to me?

He did not have time to think about what happens as he recalls his dreams of the Alpha urban ghost grabbing Christabel and Miyu's neck then the duo dragged into the swimming pool water. He jumps out of the bed and begins to run down from the fourth floor to the opposite building with all speed and energy he could muster. He recalls that Christabel was in danger. his heart raises with extreme fear. Fear of losing the only one he should protect.

"No, I can't let this happen" Adrenaline rushes into his veins entering the corners of his body as he jumps down from one staircase to another staircase with a serious gleam in his eyes. He dodges students in the hallway who curse at him. He didn't care. The only thing that occupied his thought is for him to get there in time however time itself became very fast as he looks into his watch. His brain automatically calculates like a machine duo to adrenaline rush how many minutes one can hold his or her breath while drowning. His heart thuds with fear and in minutes he reaches the 2nd-floor hall.

He stops mid-way with students watching the frenzy. In seconds, he analyzes the time he would reach the school entrance and run to the opposite sports building will take longer and Christabel would have died.

"No, these can't be happening," he said to himself. I lost my mother, Bella entrusted me with Christabel to protect her. I promised to protect her and losing her is like losing Bella twice. finally,I found a reason to me to happy again, to be at peace with myself. I am not good and I know that however, the god of death shouldn't fuck with me. Am not that little scum anymore. A bright yellow gleam like the sun glints in his eyes and without a second thought. He roams his eyes around the hallway. A glassy hallway window leading to the sports hall. He took the shortest route by running with frightening intense speed across the 2nd-floor hallway aiming his body for a jump of his life. He leaps into the air shattering through the glassy school window.

"AaaaaaaHAaaaraaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

The school glassy window shatters drawing the attention of the students from the ground floor.

They wondered who is this mad man as jump into the air. He aims himself with his foot close to each other shattering through the sport building windows at the last floor of the building.
