Legend: Part Two

~Leticia's POV~

I don't understand why my brother insisted on my coming here. I scoffed as I watched them give the honorary speech about the said Alpha king who sat all mighty on his throne and had this forced smile on his face. I need to get out of here.

I looked around but my brother was nowhere to be found. I shrugged and walked out from the crowd. I looked around and my legs took me towards the garden. As I was looking around and I bumped into something or rather someone.

"Ouch!" I winced as I held my forehead.

I looked up at the person who stood before. He has his eyes glued on me like I was some support to his life.

"Mate!" He whispered and my eyes went wide open.

"You say?!" I gasped in shock and moved back a bit to take a proper look at him.

"You are my mate?" He said more like asking.

"I don't know what you are talking about and if you may excuse me, I am here to get fresh air and you seem to be blocking it." I said to him and turned away from him. Before I could take another step, he caught me by the hand. I stiffened as I felt kind of coy in his touch and gulped down nothing.

"Indecent body contact should be avoided between males and females." I said and jerked my hand away from his.

He smirked. Like he fvcking smirk.

"You are not one teach me whether I should touch my mate or not." He said with his eyebrows furrowed.

"I am Legend Brendon." He introduced and I scoffed.

Of course, Legend Brendon. He is the Alpha Prince as he was introduced earlier in the throne room.

"Your name?" He asked and I snorted before turning on my heels to walk away. Then I suddenly felt like I was being carried. He freaking carried me on his shoulders.

What the hell?!

"What are you doing? Drop me." I yelled, squirming against him.

"If you keep wriggling your ass like that in my face, I might as well mark you as mine now and make you the Crowned Luna Queen." He said, with his voice vibrating against my lap. I gave up hitting and allowed him to do whatever he wants. I thought if I was quiet he would drop and I will be able to use a spell to disappear but this guy who claimed to be my mate or whatsoever freaking carried me to his chambers if I am right. He walked into the place and dropped me on the bed.

I opened my mouth to talk but he shushed me.

"Now, be a good girl and rest. I will not let you down escape. I will not lie to you, I am not that eager to have a mate but at the same time, I need my mate so that as soon as I take the throne, I will not be questioned or be forced to take an action I will regret. It's my father's day, I need to represent the future of the Werewolf world. So mate,. Even if you are yet to tell me your name, stay here. I will send for some maids to look after you. Don't try to run away." He warned and just like that he left. I sat down there.

Wait, what did he use on me?

Why didn't I use my spells on him?

Wait, he can't be right. Right?!

From what Ciara told me wolves are the one who get mated so why is the psycho saying I am his mate. He must have mistaken me for her. I stood up and adjusted my gown. I walked towards the door and tried to open it but it did not open.

He... He even locked me in here. Arrant nonsense.

I fumed as I tried to think of any spell to use but I can't seem to think. It's like there is this part of me that liked the way he brought me here.

No.

I shook my head. I can't be thinking about these stuffs. I still have Brian who I love so much.

I guess I will have to wait for him to come.

I used the chance to take a look at his room. A large mirror stood at one side of the room while his closet and something that looked like a bathing tub was there. Okay, I don't care about all these. I walked towards one of the windows and looked out. My lips stretched into a smile as I took in the sight. It was beautiful.

The greenery sight was so amazing and alluring. Wow.

This palace itself is so large. A creak from the door caught my attention. I don't why but I subconsciously went to hide behind one of the chairs that was there. I saw a man walk in with something that looked like a tray in his hands.

"Where did he leave that ring?" He mused as he looked through the drawer.

Who is he by the way?

He must be here to steal with the way he is searching for things in a hurry.

"Where the hell did that dummy of a prince put the ring?" He mused again but his head snapped up as he sniffed in the air. Instantly, he turned to me and our eyes locked. I stood up immediately into a defensive stance.

"Who are you?" We asked each other at the same time.

"I should be asking you that question." He said with a scoff.

"Well, you met me here." I retorted.

He eyes from my head to toe.

"Legend must have brought you." He said and went back to looking for whatever ring he was looking for.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Gael Marion." He replied.

"Ohh, that's good. So you called your prince a dummy." I said and I noticed him stop for a second before he recovered.

"He is my best friend. So it's normal." He said with a relatively forced smile. He gives off bad vibes.

I can't trust him.

He hissed out in annoyance and stood up.

"Enjoy your time in here." He said and exited the room. I scoffed and went to sit down on the bed. I don't even have my phone with me.

I pouted sadly.

~Legend's POV~

"Hey, guy." Gael called me as he walked into the hall. The party had almost ended and people were already going to their places. But as the Alpha Prince that I am, I am supposed to safely send them back and that is what I am doing before Gael interrupted me. I looked at him.

"You got a new chick without telling me?" He accused playfully and I fought the urge to roll my eyes. But wait, he went into my room.

She must have escaped!

"What were you doing in my room? And point of correction, she is not just a chick. She is my world." I said with a stern glare.

"Your world? Wait... Your mate!" He gasped.

Dummy. Took so long for him to understand.

"But why did you have her locked in the room?" He asked.

"She wanted to escape." I said and he laughed out.

"And if you may excuse me, I need to make sure she did not escape." I said, walking away from him.

"Legend, this is .." My father's adviser's voice said but I tuned them all out as I walked out of the throne room.

She was the only thing on my mind for now.

Hope she does not escape or else I will kill Gael with my hands.
