"You asshole!!!" I yelled through the door several times and hit it so hard that my hands hurt and I was so angry I tried desperately to transform myself, but I couldn't... I knew why I didn't know when, but I knew I must have been stuck here for hours with no hope of ever getting out.
Tired and powerless, I let myself slide down the wall and looked at the absolute darkness that threatened to engulf me more and more. I've never been a scaredy-cat, but now, here in this dark room, my imagination was really starting to play tricks on me and out of sheer claustrophobia and panic I closed my eyes, grabbed my knees and pulled them tight to my slightly trembling body.
A lot of things became clear to me during the quiet time. I had to fake something for him or I would probably spend years of my life here in this dump. My wolf would not survive that, who was already howling in the depths of my subconscious and longing for freedom.
"We'll get out of here soon enough," I whispered to myself, just letting myself tip over to somehow fall asleep on the hard stone floor. I hoped to be able to pass the time better this way...

When I woke up I immediately panicked as I couldn't see anything and it took me some time to remember where I was and why I couldn't see anything.
"Keno..." I whined desperately and braced myself with my hands on the ground to find my unsteady legs again. I felt my way blindly along the wall and before I could reach the doorknob, I suddenly felt a switch under my fingers, which I pressed with bated breath and immediately put my hands in front of my face, as the neon light shining on it was blinding me greatly .
"What the hell," I muttered, squinting around the room, which didn't seem creepy at all without the darkness.
While there were no windows, there were several exercise machines that made me wonder why he looked so muscular. So he had locked me in his training room and not in a dungeon as I had suspected all along.
Curious, I ran to the dumbbells that were lying on a mat on the floor and tried to lift them up, but even with both hands they were far too heavy, which gave me just an idea of how much strength Keno must have. I guess he really was a strong alpha and now I'm his toy...
I walked on to a small, white cupboard on which were several towels and bottles of water, from which I immediately grabbed one and quenched my thirst before opening the top drawer and freezing for a moment.
With wide eyes I took out a whole pack of cable ties and wondered what he could possibly use these for here. The handcuffs next to it didn't match the rest, either, and I felt puke from one second to the next at the thought that I wasn't the first woman down here. I put my hand over my mouth, trying to breathe calmly, and suddenly I heard footsteps outside, heading straight for my door.
I quickly sat down on one of the devices, swallowed the huge lump in my throat and looked at the door, which was also opened shortly afterwards.
"Have you calmed down?" Keno asked in amusement, leaning against the door frame with his smug grin.
"Calm as a kitten," I challenged, standing up to slowly walk towards him. It cost me all my pride, but I said the following words anyway, if only because my wolf couldn't stand it here any longer. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you."
My eyes fell on his dark eyes, which examined me curiously and when he suddenly leaned forward to kiss me on the cheek, my wolf yelped loudly with joy, which didn't impress me much. To me, my behavior was just a means to an end, and my feigned apology was just the beginning of my escape...
"I like it," he whispered, taking my hand in his while I looked up at him questioningly. "Your loving side. So far I've only met the bitchy Aria. It's good to know that there's something else slumbering in you."
He smiled, but I just looked at him indifferently and then disappeared out of the room ahead of him.
"To get to know my good sides, you should just treat me well and not kidnap me against my will," I explained, running up a spiral staircase only to stop when I found myself in a large room.
"Would you have come with me voluntarily?" Keno asked, standing next to me and looking over at me while I returned his gaze.
"Wohl kaum."
He laughed out loud and put his hand on my back to lead me through the large room where I recognized the wide front door. In the middle of the room there was a long table where a lot of people could sit and on the other side was something like a bar. It kind of looked like a meeting room, only with the big windows and the many plants it kind of looked like a living room. ..
"I'll show you our room," Keno tore me out of my thoughts and I stared at him in confusion.
"Unser Zimmer?"
"Yes, our room," he replied as a matter of course and walked ahead of me past the bar to a dark spiral staircase, which I followed him with a racing heart.
"Why don't I get my own?" I asked, but Keno just kept going and without giving me an answer to my question.
Pretty frustrating...
When I got to the top, I looked around in a wide hallway that, in contrast to the one below, looked pretty unspectacular. The walls were plain white, the floor was dark wood and there were several doors, all of which were locked.
"Ready?" Keno grinned and stopped in front of the back door to open it after I nodded. Still annoyed but still curious, I walked past him, feeling his intense gaze on me and stepping open-mouthed into a room that almost took my breath away.
Just opposite the door was a window front, in front of which stood a large bed that looked really magnificent with its wooden beams and fairy lights. I walked across the dark carpet and glanced to the left, where I immediately spotted a white wardrobe with lots of mirrored elements that made me look kind of lost.
"I hope you like it," I heard Keno behind me and turned to face him. He was watching me with his arms crossed and only then did I notice a chest of drawers behind him, on which I could discover several bottles of perfume and also women's paraphernalia, which gave me a pang, although I didn't mean to be jealous.
I took a deep breath, reminded myself of my plan to coax him out, and gave a sugary smile as I let my eyes wander back to him.
"Yes, I like it," I let him know, and a relieved smile spread across his face.
Oh man... what was I getting myself into...
