Alpha Solomon POV

My wolf knows how badly I need Blake. My wolf howls and cries out for her. We are mates and I need her. I want to save her. Lord Robert and his vampires came after me and did so much damage to me and my wolf. I can only imagine what he will do to Blake. I have to will my wolf to heal me so I can save her. My men pick me up and carry me to the back bedroom. They lay me down and I look to see the healer coming into the room. My wolf is hiding and upset. He is defeated. I want to grab him and remind him that we are an ALPHA and this is unacceptable behavior for an ALPHA WOLF! But I cannot get to him, he is retreating and defeated. I do not blame him. I feel defeated. I let down the woman I love, my mate. She deserves better than me. I cannot think like that! Come on we need to save her!

"Alpha Solomon, you are in a mess," the healer says. No shit I already know that, but he feels the need to tell me anyway.

"I need to save her. Heal me, please," I beg him. I can feel my wolf moving and trying to gain some strength. Come one wolf, let's do this.

"Sit him up," the healer says. He brings a bottle to my lips. "Drink this," he says. I take a sip and the taste is horrible. "Keep drinking, do not spit any of it out, Alpha. This will heal you quickly. It tastes terrible but it works. Keep drinking Alpha," the healer says to me. I drink every drop of the disgusting concoction. I have to heal. I have to save Blake from Lord Robert and I am in no shape to do it right now.

I lay back after drinking all of the concoction that the healer gave me. I can already feel it working. My wolf begins healing me. Yes, wolf, heal me, when need to save our mate and we cannot be wasting time here laying in a bed. We have to get to her. She needs us. Be the ALPHA we are wolf! Come on!

"Alpha," Regis says. I look to see him standing at the end of my bed.

"What is it?" I ask him. Regis only recently became a warrior. His father was one of my best wolves. After his father died I took him in to raise. He has always watched out for Samantha and now he is on track to be a great leader within the pack. He could be the Alpha someday.

"I know where he took her and Samantha is with them. She is turning into a vampire. Lord Robert bit Samantha," Regis says.

I am furious with her. Did losing her mother push her so far over the edge that she resorted to being with a vampire to hurt me? I do not want to exile her, but she is leaving me no choice in the matter. I cannot leave her with Lord Robert. She will have to come back and live out her life in exile.

"We will bring them both back. Samantha is still my daughter. She will have to pay for what she has done but she will not be left to the vampires," I say.

"I understood, Alpha," Regis says.

"Help me up. I have to move," I say. The healer and two of my wolves help me sit up. I feel a little drunk as I look down to see the wounds healing rapidly. This is not the most pleasant feeling I have ever felt in my life. I take a few deep breathes and then try to stand. I need to get moving.

I walk from the bedroom into the kitchen. I can feel my strength multiplying as I move. "Gather as many wolves as you can find. We have to say my mate and my daughter," I say.

My wolves begin to scatter to recruit a team to save my mate and my daughter. It is only the healer and I left for the moment. "I can help her if you can get her back here before she turns completely. I have learned so much about the vampire disease and how we can suppress it, but she has to get her before she feeds," the healer says.

"Let's hope she has not fed yet. I am furious with her, but I do not want her to end up a vampire and live that life. She is a wolf, and I want her to find a way to redeem herself in this pack," I say.

"She betrayed you. If she was not your daughter, would you give her the chance to redeem herself?" the healer asks me.

Probably not, but I will not tell him that. I just walk away. I make my way out of the house. My wolf is almost back to his former self. I feel stronger as I make it to the porch. Regis, Sam, and Sandy are all waiting for me. "We have at least fifty wolves ready to fight for Blake and Samantha," Regis says.

I look back at the healer who is watching me and every move I make. "Blake is the priority," I say. That hurt me to the core, but the pack healer is right. If she was not my daughter, I would leave her to rot. The only thing I can do is bring her back, if possible and heal her if she has not fed, but exile is the only option for her. She can no longer be a member of this pack. She will leave on the edge of the pack territory, and she will no longer be the Alpha's daughter. My chest feels like it will cave in as I tell myself what I have to do, but Samantha made her bed, and now it is time to lie in it. I am sorry, my sweet daughter, but you did this to yourself.

"Let's go," I say as we head to save my mate, with Regis leading the way.

Blake POV

I hear the wolves howling in the distance as Lord Robert comes closer to me. I know he plans to rape me. "You are mine, Blake," Lord Robert says as he undresses and moves closer to me.

"Alpha Solomon is my mate," I protest.

Lord Robert crawls onto the bed with me. His cold hands touch my body, and he begins moving his hands over me. "He will not want you after I am done with you," he says.

I listen to the wolves howling, but Lord Robert does not pay them any attention. Does he not hear them? Why is he ignoring the wolves? He should be shivering and afraid that my mate will kill him when he gets her. Maybe that is not Alpha Solomon that I hear howling in the distance.

I am coming for you. I hear those words in my mind. Lord Robert cannot hear the wolves because it is Alpha Solomon letting me know that he is coming for me. I close my eyes as Lord Robert spreads my legs. He is taking me for his, Solomon, I say through my mind link. I hope he can hear me.

Lord Robert kisses my neck, and then I feel his fangs sink into me in the same place he bit me before. "I do not understand why you are not turning. Your friend is turning already. Maybe I will let her have you as her first meal. That is after I fuck you," Lord Robert says to me. I open my eyes to see my blood dripping from his chin and his eyes glowing a bright red.

"I thought you gave Samantha to another vampire as a gift," I say. I know he has no plans to let her feed on me. Lord Robert wants me afraid and shaking in my boots. He wants me to beg for my life and beg him not to take me for his.

"Yes, I did give her to another. But that does not mean I would not feed you to her," he says, hissing at me before taking another bite out of my neck.

The pain rushes through my body as he feeds on me. I can hear Alpha Solomon talking to me as he gets closer. He knows I need him to save me. I do not want this vampire to fuck me. "Are you ready to be fucked?" Lord Robert asks me.

I look up at him, smile, and form my lips to blow him a simple kiss. "I would rather die than let you fuck me," I say to him. I begin jerking my body, trying to break free from the shackles. I refuse to be still or make it easy for him. If he wants to rape me, then he will have to work for it.

Howls are coming from the front of the house. I hear Samantha yell for her father, and then Lord Robert, who is already pale, seems to lose every shade of color in his face. "He is going to fuck you up!" I scream at Lord Robert.

Lord Robert gets off of me and leaves the room fast. This time, he and his vampires are on the losing end of the fight. I listen as the wolves rush over the vampires and take them out one by one. This time there is no one there to distract the wolves or put Alpha Solomon in a losing situation because he has his wolves with him, and they are ready to kill for me.

"Get my Luna," I hear Alpha Solomon call out. The door opens, and Regis comes into the bedroom. I would be embarrassed to be lying here naked if I was not happy to see him.

Regis unshackles me from the wall carefully. Lord Robert used silver, and it is burning Regis as he unlocks me. "Be careful," I tell him. He finally gets me off of the bed. I take a sheet and wrap it around me as we go out of the bedroom.

"Samantha is up the stairs with a vampire. She is turning," I say.

"You are the priority," Regis says. Regis helps me out of the house and to the woods. We wait for other wolves to join us. Finally, Alpha Solomon runs up to me. His wolf is so beautiful.

"You want a ride?" he asks me. I smile at him and touch his wolf. I climb on top of him, and we run farther into the woods. I hold him tightly and feel at peace with him. I never thought it would be possible to be so in love with someone the way I am with Alpha Solomon.

I almost fall asleep, riding on his back. The sound of the unison paws hitting the forest floor and his heart is beating in my ear as I lay my head so close to him.

We finally arrive at the house, where the other wolves disperse to give us privacy. I climb off of his back, and he shifts into his human form. "First things first," he says, cupping my head into his hand and pulling me into him. He kisses me long, deep, and with so much passion I almost melt right there.

"I love you," I say when he lets me go.

"I love you too," he says.

"Is he dead?" I ask him.

"Yes, and so is Samantha. The vampire killed her before I could get her out of there," Alpha Solomon says.

I fall into him. "I thought she was my friend," I say. Alpha Solomon strokes my back as I cry.

"She was really messed up, Blake. She has not been herself since her mother died. She got lost a long time ago. She probably did want to help you at first, but she was jealous when I chose you as my mate. I wish things could have been different, and I tried to help her. So do not ever think any of this is your fault," Alpha Solomon says to me.

I am not sure what to say to him. His daughter betrayed him or me. He is more concerned for me than himself. He picks me up and carries me into the cabin. He carries me to his bedroom. "Are you going to marry me?" he asks me.

"I already said yes," I answer him.

"I know but I was afraid that you changed your mind," Alpha Solomon says.

"No, never. I have never felt so close to someone as I do you, right now," I say.

He plays with my hair and then pulls me into his arms. "I want to hold you," he says.

"I will allow that," I say. I realize suddenly that he is upset. He was afraid that he would lose me. This sweet man does love me.

"We need to find out why you are not turning, but the healer also told me that there are ways to reverse the vampire bite if you want to try it," Alpha Solomon says.

"I just want to be with you. That is all I want. If the wolf healer can stop it, then stop it. My only concern is being with you and being your wife," I say.

"The Alpha's wife is a vampire," Alpha Solomon says, laughing and biting at my neck.

I turn around to see his smile. He is laughing and happy. "The Alpha's wife is ready to fuck your brains out," I say.

He pulls me closer. "Then come here and let me please you," Alpha Solomon says.
