The SUV pulled into the back end of the packhouse and drove into the parking under that packhouse. I grabbed a robe, I kept Xantara naked, put her on my lap with my dick back inside her. I wrapped the robe around us both and the hood over my head. The drivers knew not to look at us as we got out.

I walk around the small library, running my fingers down several titles, until I find a title about war strategy. I sit in an overstuffed chair, tucking my feet under me, and open the book to page 1.

I had been nodding out with it being so quiet while I try to focus on the content in the book; I went back to bed.

Snuggling back in next to Colt, I surprised myself that I loved this man. In such a short period, I fell in love with this man. When did that happen, I ask myself?

Did it happen when I first ran from him afraid of the mate bond and falling in love? Maybe when he took most of the wolfs bane for me through our mate bond? Of course, there is his talking in his sleep about unicorns, which was cute and hilarious? He also has this quirky way about him that is funny and endearing. I take my hand to his face, kissing him ever so lightly on the lips, closing my eyes and enjoying the warmth of his body next to mine.

Alpha Cameron

When the King called me and explained that the rogue king had tried to kill my sister and brother, I was livid. He had the audacity to kidnap my siblings. When Colt, Clair, Xantara had all disappeared and hadn't come back after a couple of days, well we knew something was wrong. Especially Since he didn't show up for the meeting with the council and the king.

My brother's cell phone keeps ringing and then switches me to voicemail when I call him. Colt, glad you are okay. I need to talk to you. Call me when you can. Bro, congrats on the mate." I click the red phone, ending the message.

Clair is also an Alpha, so I have decided to treat her as one of us. Ultimately, we are no longer the six alphas; we are the Eight Alphas, and anyone crossing us should be afraid. Claire was our baby sister, and it was impossible to see her as anything other than our baby sister. With her ability to fight and a mate, it is time to give her credit.

Colt -

I hear my phone and try to grab it off the nightstand accidentally knocking it to the floor. Slowly opening my eyes, I see the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, thank you moon goddess she is perfect. Xantara is snuggled into me, her nose in the crook of my neck.

I don’t want to leave her, but I need to get up and make some plans with my brothers and the King. The Rogue king has gone too far. He hurt my mate and kidnapped my sister and I. He is going to pay for such treachery.

I very slowly take Xantara’s leg off me as well as her arm. I grab some clean clothes heading to the shower to clean up. I make it a quick shower, heading to the balcony with my phone and call my brother Cameron back.

The phone rings and Cameron answers the phone. “Hey Cameron, what’s up?”

Cameron -

“I wanted to congratulate you on your mate, you are mated to the princess, and our sister to her twin the prince. But then it shouldn’t surprise me, twins usually are mated to other twins, or they share one person. Anyway congratulations.

Now for the matters on hand, tell me how you all got into the Rogue Kings clutches?’

Colt -

"I was standing outside the castle, talking with the valets about the car my parents gave me. It was paramount to me it be handled with the utmost care. There is a noise near the trees that makes me turn. I investigated the sound out in the woods, it sounded odd.

First, I threatened the valets with their lives if a single scratch got on my car. I saw a hand grab a girl and head deeper into the woods. The girl I have since found out was Cora, but at the time it almost looked like she was being kidnapped. I sneak out into the woods and used a technique that Clair taught me about observing and fighting from above in the trees.

I follow the man and woman, jumping from tree to tree. They join another group of rogues. The girl (Cora) is hugging and kissing the rogue king. Now my dad had rogues in our territory all the time. Professing it was for peace. So, I knew who Cora was kissing.

I couldn’t believe it; we had a mole in the castle. I decide to turn and head back, which is when I lose balance and fall right in the middle of all the rogues looking at me. I decide to fight until I can no longer fight anymore. I took down several rogues, but unfortunately someone knocked me out cold. From there, I woke up in a cell with no clothes on. I didn’t see the girls until the rogues threw the girls into the cell across from me.”

Cameron -

Shaking my head trying to stay calm, I let Colt know I am coming to his area of the castle, so we can sit and talk more. I bade him goodbye and hung up the cell phone.

Pacing across the floor in my office, I wonder how we are going to take down the rogue king once and for all. Maybe we should scare Cora into running to her beloved mate. Hmmm….
