Chapter 65

Clair –

Upon waking up, I find myself in a deep sweat, walking over to pull a window open so that some fresh air can circulate throughout the room. I also felt faint and tingly as well. A feeling of darkness comes over me, as well as a tingling feeling in my eyes. Slowly, I black out as I fall to the carpeted floor.

Inhaling the scent of grass, I can feel it tickling my nose as I breathe it in. I could smell lilacs in the distance. I somehow found it a little strange that I was smelling this scent while I was in my room. After opening my eyes, I sat myself up in a sitting position.

As I gazed into the distance, I saw Selene tending to her garden. Selene is so good and kind, and so filled with magic, that it almost makes me feel like I'm with Glinda the Good Witch of the North, a character from "The Wizard of Oz". The flowers here look like Lollipops on top of stems, so I almost expect the munchkins to come out singing "The lollipop kids." Some of these flowers almost seem like lollipops. With a soft, harmonious voice, Selene spoke softly like a melody.

Selene Moon Goddess –

“How nice of you to join me, I am so sorry I forgot to remind you about the planet alignment. But we need to wait your brother Colt. He should be showing up soon. I am so excited you will be meeting Tabitha soon.”

Clair –

I couldn't help but giggle when I saw Selene's exuberance, for it was contagious. The very thought of meeting Tabitha makes me feel excited, and I don't even know who she is.

The moaning I hear is off to the side of the lake. The reason I giggle is that my brother is just like me in being clueless as to where I am. It would have been so funny if he had splashed into the lake.

As Colt slowly opened his eyes, his eyes found their way to where Selene and I were sitting.

There is a sense of annoyance in Colt's eyes, and he nods slightly as Selene gestures for him to come and sit with us.

Colt walks over to Selene and sits on the other side of her. Bowing to the Goddess, he wishes her good morning with a kiss on the cheek. I forgot my manners and bowed my head wishing the Goddess a good morning as well.

Colt –

“Goddess, why are we honored for this meeting?

Selene –

It is important to note that I told you in the enchanted forest that because you two were in the enchanted forest, you activated another shifting partner as well. The one thing I forgot to mention is that you will shift into unicorns when the planets align. Therefore, things are about to change tonight. When you wake up, you will be unicorns and remain unicorns for two hours.

Clair –

“Uggghh another first painful shift!!”

Selene –

'No!' She exclaimed. That is not the case. Since unicorns are magical, they just magically shift with you without there being any cracks in the bones. Also, take note: unicorns can be stubborn, and you need to coax them into listening and obeying.

Their horns are magical and work as a wand, which will be very useful if we are planning to defeat the rogue king with the help of their horns. Besides being a blessing, the horn can also be a curse. Due to the power of the horns, those who want to use them for evil will constantly try to capture you and cut off your horn.

There would be no moments of peace for you if other people find out. You could be hunted down and killed, so they could have your horn for the power it represents. The Unicorn will teach you everything you need to know about unicorns.

It will be just like having your wolf shifting, sharing thoughts, etc. and the three of you can communicate to each other and your mate via the mind-link. Now I will send you back to your rooms, try not to freak out your mates too bad.”

Clair –

I laugh as the moon goddess seems to have a sense of humor. The land of peace and beauty soon evaporates, and I am once again in my room.

Tabitha –

On the bed spread in absolutely nothing is our mate, and he is one fine looking specimen. I walk over to get a closer look, and I just want to lick him from head to toe. His scent is divine… my tongue drawn out on it’s own accord, was licking his face and started to head downward. When our mate jumps up ready to fight.

I hear Catherine laugh and I just scoff, it is my turn out here. I hear Clair calling me a pervert, and she is laughing.

Xander –

‘Unicorns are not real! Clair! Very Funny! Enough with the hoaxes. I will retaliate and you better watch out!.”

The unicorn sure does look real. I step forward to touch the unicorns horn and it shocks me! I hear the unicorn make a noise like it is laughing at me.

“I do not know if you are real or not, but maybe we should take you out to where the other horses are and not in my bedroom. We can clearly see my room is not a stable.”

The unicorn shakes its head like she is telling me no. Seriously?!! I think to myself. Clair is so going to feel my retaliation. I don’t know how she did this Unicorn horn thing, but she is so going to pay.

Tabitha –

“Girls, maybe we should mind link him now?”

Clair –

“Let me talk first and then Tabitha you can introduce yourself all you like.” I couldn’t help but giggle at how Xander was reacting.

“Xander, do you hear me?”

Xander –

“Where are you?”

Clair –

“Right in front of you silly!”

Xander –

“Call me crazy but the only living creature in front of me is this horse you made look like a unicorn.”

No sooner than I said this creature was a horse, she tried to nip my behind.

Clair ---

“Tabitha does not like being called a horse.”

Xander –

“Her name is Tabitha?”

Claire ---

“When I was in the enchanted forest I opened an ancient gene, where my family has unicorn shifter genes. Since it was Colt and I in the enchanted forest, it is only him and I that activated that gene. Right now, he is in his room as a unicorn as well.

His unicorns name is Tobias. I must stay this way for two hours and no one is to see me, the moon goddess says that we have strong magic and if people know we exist, then they would want to kill us. Anyway, Tabitha wants to get to know you. See you in two-hours.”

Tabitha ---

“Helloooo sexy! Are you ready to let my light your world on fire?!!”

Xander ---

“Claire come back!!”
