Chapter 6

Lila POV

I leave the new girl alone in her room. I don't think she realizes what is to come. They never know when they come here. They are all full of hope and joy. Damn the phone is ringing. I run down the hall to grab it. It is probably Craig.

I pick up the old black phone. I glance around to make sure no one is around. "Hello," I speak softly.

"Lila, Is she settled in?" Mr.Craig asks.

"Yes. I have her. She is in her room settling in. She is quite beautiful Mr. Craig," I say.

"Good. I will be back tonight. Make sure she is comfortable. DO NOT scare her. Be nice if you are know-how. Check on her often. Make sure she has everything she needs. Got IT!" he says demandingly. He hangs up before I can respond.

He acts as if I do not know my job. I have helped him gather perfect breeding bitches from the auction. Of course, this is the first time Jayne got involved. Poor Jayne. She thought she was sending him a wife and a companion little does she know what he is really up to. At least we did not have to pay someone to bid this time.

I will keep little miss Tatina busy and happy. She is in the city with me, of course, she will love it here. I will make sure she is happy. I will be her best friend and then she will agree to anything we want. Craig, is so sly with the breeders. He would not bend to his will. He is sexy and kind until he gets what he wants them it is over.

Tatina POV

The room they fixed me in absolutely beautiful. I cannot believe all the clothes he bought me. I have never had this many clothes and shoes before. I grab a pair of blue jeans from the closet and a white top. I go over to the dresser and grab a bra and a pair of panties. I need a shower.

I walk into the bathroom. Oh my goodness. The bathroom is as big as my room. A beautiful mirror well lit with makeup and hairbrushes. The shower is full of shampoos and body washes. I am going to shower with all of it. Next to the shower in a robe and slippers. There are multiple lotions and body sprays. I must be in heaven.

I remove my clothes and turn the shower on steaming hot. I step into the shower and let the water run down my body. I grab a purple bottle of shampoo and start scrubbing my hair. It smells so wonderful. I rinse my hair and grab a conditioner. The conditioner smells wonderful. I let the conditioner soak in my hair. I grab a raspberry body wash and soak the pink sponge in massive amounts of body wash. I scrub every inch of my body. I rinse the conditioner out of my hair and continue to let the hot water run over my body. I think I could stay here forever. I never got to shower like this when I was living with my parents.

I step out of the shower. I dry off with one of the huge white towels. I grab the pink silk robe and slip into it. I towel off my long hair and sit down in the mirror. I grab a lotion from the counter. Raspberry. I love the smell of raspberries. I rub my body with the lotion. I smell fabulous.

I towel dry my hair and open the drawers on the counter. I find face cream and apply it. There is makeup here but I am not a fan of a lot of makeup. Maybe just some mascara. I apply some mascara lightly. I finish toweling my hair.

I slip into my clothes. I grab the blow dryer and dry my long hair. I

get up from the counter and dress quickly. I have dilly-dallied enough. I need to eat and see the rest of the house.

When I come back into my room, Lila is waiting for me.

"I see you showered," she says.

"Yes. I feel amazing," I say.

"Good, Mr.Craig wants me to take you to dinner. Slip into some comfortable shoes and we will walk to a restaurant to eat. Is seafood okay?" she says.

"Yes. That would be great," I respond.

I slip into a pair of comfortable shoes. I smile at her. Something seems off with her. Maybe she is just nervous about having me here. I hope she does not think I am trying to take the place of his wife. I did not plan to come here I just landed here.

"I am ready," I say.

"Good. Let us get going. It is only a mile to Miss Zada's Seafood house," she says.
