She huffed mockingly " Okay fine you win, how often do you come here? " She placed her hands on her hips, looking taller than her normal height.

He laughed and removed her hands from her hips gently " Whoa woman! Calm down "

She glared at him playfully " That's what I've been practically doing all night so answer my question, how often do you stay in this place? "

" Only whenever I come to Houston for conference meetings or business deals " He replied " Satisfied? " He teased and she cleared her throat in a bid to avoid his question and instead got herself busy with admiring the beauty of the place.

" Wow, this place is beautiful! " She breathed out in exhilaration. She had moved away from him in the process.

Liam came up behind her " I know what's more beautiful " He said huskily and cupped her neck while inhaling her scent.

" You smell good " He whispered.

She moaned, enjoying the feeling it gave her as he nuzzled her neck " I do really? "

" Trust my words, or you want me to prove it to you? " He asked and didn't wait for her answer as he started to plant kisses all over her neck.

She moaned " Hmmn fuck " and leaned into him fully. Knowing her husband for how naughty he was, of course he twisted her words creating another meaning entirely.

" Fuck? Is that what you want, baby? For me to bend you over and fuck you till you can't walk and ask for my help? " He whispered sexily and Carla could feel him gulp. Her insides clenched together at the meaning of his words. She smiled to herself, now confident of the effect she had on him.

She turned to him and bit one of her fingers while staring at him seductively. Well, who said she couldn't flirt with her husband? He was hers and hers alone. In name only because it would be over soon because it's all fake, there came the voice in her head. In the bliss of enjoying marital life, she had forgotten the reason she was here in the first place. They've not had a deep talk about it, he didn't even ask if she was carrying his child yet. Could it be that he was enjoying their fake marriage too? Perhaps he might want to make it real? She smiled at the thought. Of course he is enjoying it, what guy wouldn't like good sex? The voice in her head taunted. It's not just sex dummy, he might actually love me, she fired back. Her eyes brimmed with mental tears at the possibility that he could be thinking the exact thing her mental voice suggested.

Now the voice scoffed, love? You and I know the guy is not capable of loving anyone . Didn't he tell you right from the start? And he warned you, didn't he? He warned you not to fall in love with him so what's this you're feeling? love perhaps? Carla glared at the floor in fury, I don't love him and never will! I just like what we have together! Do you, really? The voice asked again, which made Carla finally pushed it out. She looked at her husband now, yes her husband so you can go to hell dummy! She screamed at the inner voice and was glad when she received no reply because she wasn't sure how much more of the insults she could withstand. Perhaps her inner voice had finally admitted that everything between them might be real after all. At least she was sure about hers but what about Liam? Could he be faking all that too? The voice came again, It's all fake dummy! It mimicked and Carla shunned it, not bothering to reply.

Now she smiled at Liam seductively and batted her eyelashes at him " Can you do that, really? Fuck me to stupor till I can't get up on my feet? "

He groaned " Even your words is exciting me, look down here, " He looked down and Carla, of course followed his line of gaze " Can you see now? " He asked huskily.

Her eyes widened at the bulge she was seeing, he was that ready for her?! Fuck, she wanted him so bad it had started to affect her but what could she do? A plan came into her head and she grinned wickedly. Yes, she would pay him no attention and make die of lust for her.

Slowly, she disentangled herself from him with a smile still pasted on her face " I'm hungry honey, let's go eat " She faked a yawn of hunger, intentionally ignoring his initial question. He looked shocked, surprised that she just told him off when he was in so much pain and needed release that he felt like dying. How... Just how could she do this to him?!

" You wanna eat? " He asked incredulously, just to be sure she really said that.

She nodded, staring at him with wide, innocent eyes " Yeah I'm hungry and food is ready, right? Why are you staring at me that way? Don't tell me you didn't make preparations for food while making arrangements for all of these? " she gestured around the room with her hands.

He shook his head, still dazed " No... No, I made preparations for food, of course "

He took her hand and together, they went to the dining room where some maids were arranging some dishes on the long table.

She looked confused " I thought you said you don't come here often? "

He nodded " Only on occasions like meetings, yeah "

" So what are the maids doing in a rarely occupied penthouse? " She asked in confusion.

" I hired them temporarily just before we came, to clean up this place and all that " He replied

" Okay " She muttered.

Liam felt a groan escape his lips. God, what was she doing to him and why?? He wanted her so much right now but she didn't even look his way once, didn't see how much he longed and ached for her.
