Chapter 68
Liam got home and met his wife sleeping soundly on the couch with her legs slightly apart. He got a hard-on right there, just looking at her. He tapped her lightly by the shoulders and she woke up with a start.
" What was that?! " She asked and rubbed her eyes with her palm.
He laughed " Nothing princess, it's just me " He assured her and in one swift movement, he scooped her up in his arms effortlessly and headed outside.
" Hey, where are you going?! " She asked in alarm and started to swing her legs helplessly.
He laughed " Chill princess, just relax, okay? "
She glared " How do you expect me to be when you're taking me to God knows where "
He silenced her with a sound kiss " Trust me " He said softly and looked straight into her eyes.
Carla nodded, still speechless by the kiss. They got outside and he placed her gently on a rocking chair. She watched him shoved his hands into his pockets and he seemed to concentrate on something far ahead.
" Well? " She prompted and raised her eyebrows in question.
" Why did you bring me out here when it's so cold? " She stared at him accusingly.
He came towards her slowly and stood behind her. Carla strained her head to look up at him
" Liam Blake, I believed I asked you a question " She crossed her arms under her breasts.
He bent down to her height " Relax, I bet you'll love it " He whispered into her.
She rolled her eyes in disbelief and waited for the magic it seemed like he wanted to perform.
" Look up at the sky, Bella " He whispered and Carla looked up like he said and immediately gasped. It was indeed a beautiful sight to behold.
" Whoa Liam! This is breathtaking! Nature is beautiful indeed " She breathed out in wonder.
He stared at her intently " For me, you are beautiful and breathtaking "
Carla groaned " I know you're saying all this to make me feel better, I've lost my shape, I'm not beautiful " She whined.
Liam shook his head " No pumpkin, you are beautiful and will always be "
She looked up at him, a shimmer of hope in her eyes for the first time since she got pregnant.
" Really? You're not shitting me, are you? " She asked softly.
" Wouldn't even dream of it, Mama " He answered, his voice just as soft as hers and they watched the stars some time more before he announced that she really needed to sleep.

" Where is my husband??! Where is Liam??! " Carla shrieked in the labour room, feeling her stomach constricted with unbearable pain. Her pupils dilated and her eyes started to droop until a nurse slapped her on the arm harshly .
" Wake up ma'am! You can't sleep now, keep pushing! " The nurse shouted above Carla's screams who had started to shout too.
" The hell I will! Call me my husband! Where is my Liam?! " She screamed in anguish.
" Calm down ma'am! He will be here soon "The nurse said, trying to pacify her but it seemed Liam was the only one that couldn't do that.
Edwina came in and turned to the nurses standing without so much as sparing Carla a glance.
" How is it going? Any improvements yet? " She asked calmly and a nurse shook her head tiredly.
" No doctor, it's the same thing " The nurse replied.
" Okay, keep it up dear friend " Edwina said, finally turning to see her expression. It was filled with fear, anticipation and longing. Edwina gauged her expression correctly because of the way reacted to the hit when it came again.
" I want my Liam! And while you mother fuckers are at it right now, it would nice to get this damned thing off me! " Carla screamed again but no one gave her attention, they were used to it now.
Liam walked in and went straight to Carla's bed " Hey baby, are you okay? "
Carla screamed " No I'm not! Tell them to get this damned baby off! "
Liam held her hands " Just trying pushing for some minutes and we'll have our baby " He reassured her with a smile.
She looked calm for some minutes " For real? "
Liam nodded " Yeah, try me " He promised softly.
Of course Carla believed him so she pushed with all her power.
" Doctor, I can see the baby's head! " The first nurse shouted to Edwina and hours later, Carla was carrying her son in her arms, smiling at him tenderly.
Liam came in and Carla sent him a smile before handing over their baby to him.
" It's a boy " She informed him and he nodded, not finding the right words to say as he felt so emotional that moment as he cradled the small, tiny being in his arms.
He was being very careful so as not to do anything stupid with his son. He made some phone calls and within an hour, the place was filled with family and friends as they trooped in to congratulate the couple. Carla was surprised when she saw her mother.
" Mom! " She squealed happily but was still too weak to get up.
" What are you doing here? Who brought you here? " Carla asked in surprise.
Georgia threw her a playful glare " What are you saying? Shouldn't I be here? " She asked in a way that made Carla feel guilty.
" No no, I didn't mean that, Mom! I just wanted... " She started to explain what she meant but was cut off by Georgia.
" Well, in answer to your question, Liam booked a flight for me before you gave birth " She explained and looked over to where Liam stood.
" Thanks son " She said gratefully.
Liam smiled in return. Georgia left not long after and the couple were alone again.
" What shall we name him? "Liam asked, gazing at her tenderly.
" Dominion Liam Blake, that will be my name for our son or what do you think? " She asked
He shook " I like the name, Dominion Liam Blake "
