Chapter 34 BROTHERHOOD

Sobrina had decided over a week ago - after listening to many sermons - to sell her soul to the Devil. It had turned out she didn't actually know her journey to the mountain would yield any fruits.

After she studied the sermon that appeared before her that day, made contact with members of the brotherhood and heard directly from them, the choices were laid before her.

It wasn't hard to convince her, she'd had a series of terrible experience as a Christian, she believed every word she heard. She began to prepare to sell her soul. She got the material required and in the middle of the night after Dove had left for the clubhouse, she lit the colored candles, wrote down the required prayer, drew enough blood from her hand, and signed her name in blood. She burnt the paper in the fire of the candles, she had completed the ritual as required.

She lay back on her bed transfixed, she was drained of energy, she couldn't lift a finger. The room began to spin in circles above her, she closed her eyes and went into a deep deep trance.

She saw herself falling from a great height, surrounded by hot flames, but she wasn't burning. She tried to move her body so she could wake from the trance but couldn't. Instead, she saw herself at a feast, she was seated by a long banqueting table surrounded with beautiful chairs. The room, table and chairs were white and gold. There were other people around her - really famous people - eating and merrying on the table. There was a variety of food and wine. The people were so kind to her, welcoming her one after another with a handshake or a hug. She recognized a few of them.

She had sold her soul in order to achieve her aspirations, the vision was crystal clear - welcome to the underworld, you will achieve even much more than you seek, you will dine with Kings and Queens.

She awoke in the morning, the room was cold, the candles had burned out without a trace except for the black stain on the tiles. She knew without a doubt she was transformed.

"You see? You didn't die", she said to herself.

The day became more colorful, the sun brighter, her hearing and sight greatly enhanced. She was happy.

Even though she wasn't planning on leaving the brotherhood, the fact that the door was always open and that she could leave any time she wanted, without repercussions - as she had been told - was comforting.

She began to advance her soul through meditation under the guidance of the priests and priestesses of the brotherhood.

She was easily deceived, it was no longer selling but dedicating one's soul to the Devil, many mindsets she previously had was torn down and new ones installed.

She was assigned a demon, his name was Asmodeus:

She was told that Asmodeus was Chief Astrologer of Hell and Oversees the Gambling Houses in Hell, and that he was a very busy Demon. He was also a day Demon, he was among the legions of Amayon and ruled seventy-two legions of spirits. Asmodeus carried the title "King of the Demons". He was also of the order of Seraphim. He governed the many realms of pleasure. He preferred to be summoned bareheaded - without a hat or head covering - and he teaches the arts of astronomy, arithmetic, geomancy, and craftsmanship. He answers all questions, discovers, guards treasures and gives the ability to read the thoughts of others. He confers invisibility, and can break up marriages or relationships.

Asmodeus had a human Mother while his Father was a God. He has jet black hair with a braid down his back, and has an olive complexion.

Asmodeus was extremely courteous and very much a gentleman. He was soft spoken with a smooth voice, a very pleasant Demon.
