Chapter 115 Strange Voices
He was already asleep and looked tired, but Bane quickly remembered the phone call and the voice on the phone, and he blushed.
Is it with other women lingering for a long time, so so tired?
Is it possible that having sex with another woman is as important as Sophie's award ceremony?
Bane suddenly realized the danger of his speculation, quickly stopped, no matter what he did, and she did not matter, can not think about these! Nor should there be that strange fury.
Bane decided to leave, but at that moment her hand was seized by another, and she was pulled straight to the bed.
Bert unconsciously took her in his arms, and when he felt comfortable enough to embrace Bane's soft body, he closed his eyes and said, "Don't move. Stay with me."
A strong smell of wine and a faint whiff of perfume came from the end of his nose. Bane's brow tightened, his nausea suppressed, and he said, "Bert Ron, let go of your hand!"
Sensing Bane's struggle, the strength in his hands increased a few points and he began to threaten. "Don't move, or I'll hurt you."
At that threat, Bane stopped struggling.
Bert's eyes opened slowly as she quieted down, and a little smile came into them.
Do you know what I was doing last night?
Bane turned pale and tried to turn straight away.
"I don't know."
"Do you want to know?"
"No."
"Then I must tell you."
Now Bert had lost his usual coldness and radiated all the childishness.
Bane, however, could not resist such a Bert. She paused and said, "Go ahead."
If it's all that mess, she'll just ignore it.
"I caught it yesterday."
"What have you caught?
"I caught the thief. He's been hiding for more than ten years."
"Huh? Did that man steal your things? '
Bert laughed, and said, "The old fellow wants to replace me with that trashy Ossie Rowan!"
Bane didn't really want to hear this, because it was a secret of the aristocracy, and knowing that would get you into trouble.
But Bert held her so tightly that she could not move.
She struggled for a moment, then got a slap on her bottom, and her face froze. Of course, the slap wasn't painful.
"Don't move. I haven't slept since yesterday. I'm really tired."
"That...... Then get some rest."
"Ron's had a life and death experience before, and she wanted to sell Ron's for money so she could move her family, because my father died two days ago and she was going to sell Ron's."
Bane wondered. Was that what Bert had come from?
He closed his eyes again and buried his face in Bane's neck. The scent of Bane's hair came from the end of his nose. It was a faint, soothing scent.
"Father told me when he died that he'd give the old man half of Ron's company. He'd dream of it until he died, and he'd want to take care of the old man."
The corners of his mouth were curled up, his smile was not warm at all, and a touch of rage appeared in his brow.
"What he doesn't know, though, is that the old thing doesn't appreciate it, she thinks half is too little, she's bent on taking Ron's Circle, and I'm not going to take it for her, I wouldn't give it to her if I ruined Ron's Circle!"
"It took me a long time to catch the thief who was passing the information to the old man. To be honest, it was really ridiculous. The thief I caught turned out to be one of my father's subordinates for many years.
"What happened to that man, do you know?"
He leaned against Bane and lowered his voice, still puzzled.
Curious, indeed, as to the man's fate, Bane asked, "What fate?"
"Because he was interested in women, I enlisted countless women to accompany him."
Bane's eyes popped wide. So, last night's noise?
Bert smiled at Bane and whispered, "I know you're angry today. It must have been the noise."
"No, I didn't..."
Her jaw was pinched in the middle of the sentence.
"Bane Reed, I want the truth. I hate being lied to. Honestly, you're sure you don't care?"
Seeing Bert's eyes, Bane felt that there was no secret left in him. Bert knew all about him.
She bit her lower lip and didn't say a word.
Bert smiled. "I tried so hard to catch him," he said. "I'm sorry I couldn't go to Sophie's award ceremony. You're angry. What should I do?"
Bane blushed. She had never seen such a Bert before, and he was a deadly allure.
"You don't need to do anything, if you're tired, just go take a bath, you let go, I'll make you some porridge, wait for you."
And with that Bert gagged her.
Bane's eyes suddenly widened, his face in front of him, and he began to plunder unscrupulously.
Even the breath smelled of Bert.
The kiss, long and suffocating.
Bane was stunned for a moment, but before she knew it Bert had taken off her coat.
She started to struggle, but Bert just closed his eyes and lay on top of her.
Bane was almost breathless by Bert.
"What a beast!
She was about to push Bert away, but as soon as her hand touched him, she froze.
'Are you ill?
Quickly she pushed Bert away and touched his forehead. It was very hot.
She could not help but chagrin, his face so pale, still a nonsense, should have thought of.
With some difficulty Bane got him to lie down, took off his coat, and put the pajamas on him. When he saw Bert's trousers, Bane thought for a moment, but did not move.
She fetched a basin of warm water, and with a towel she rubbed Bert down, and took most of the smell of the wine out of him, and Bert's face was not so ugly.
This done, Bane went to fetch Myron. There was a family doctor on the farm, so Bane wasn't worried.
But Bane was too happy after all, and Myron looked at her with embarrassment.
'The doctor ought to be of little use, Miss Reed.'
"How did that happen?
