Chapter 157 Anger
Sophie was so happy to see this scene that she was always lively and could chat with any child she met.
By the way, to their surprise, Sophie was able to meet a boy so quickly that Norton felt uncomfortable.
But soon another girl joined them, and there were four children talking all the time.
It was the first time Burt had seen Norton start talking to children his own age. Norton had grown up smart and intelligent, so he had little contact with children his own age.
He had thought it was just his nature to be unsociable to other people, but until now he seemed to be mistaken.
Norton is shy when talking to them, but tries to keep a cool head.
Bane was relieved to see that the children had something to talk about. She looked at them and curved her lips.
Bert suddenly came up to her and put his arm around her. "So you're right."
Bane was puzzled.
"I was wrong."
He looked at the children who were talking.
Bane instantly responded, "Actually, you're already doing a good job as a father. Sometimes it's OK to overlook little things."
Bert smiled. "I'll take it as a compliment."
"Must be, or very serious boast."
Bert was in a cheerful mood.
Moments later, a couple came up to them and said, "It's wonderful to have such cute twins."
When Bane heard them say this, she suddenly felt flustered, for to the outside world they seemed real family.
"Well, the older brother's name is Norton and the younger sister's name is Sophie."
"The fat one is the baby of our family, Will, and that brat likes pretty girls, and he's been trying to talk to you ever since you got on board."
Bane looked over and realized that Will had indeed been peeking at Sophie with a smile on his lips.
Norton seems to sense something. He's been on guard against Will, as if he's afraid he'll steal his sister.
My name is Lingnan Jellison, and this is my husband. Do you call him Jerry?"
When Bane saw them say this, he did not respond coldly, "My name is Bane, and this is the father."
She wanted to say it was my husband, but she couldn't.
Just as Lingnan was about to speak, Sophie let out a cry. Almost immediately, Bane ran over to find her sitting on the ground, looking pale.
Norton, with a flash of anger in his eye, pushes the little girl to the ground, his eyes red.
Bane picked her up. "Sophie, are you feeling ill?"
Sophie shook her head. She was actually in pain now, but she didn't want Mummy to worry.
'What's the matter?
Bane began doubtfully.
Norton quickly complains, "Mommy, she pushed her sister to the floor."
When she heard this, the little girl burst into tears, looking dissatisfied, and shouted, "You dare to bully me. I'm going to tell my mommy, mommy!"
Will wanted to hit her too, but Mommy was here and she didn't want him to bully the girls. He could only look back at Lingnan and say, "Mommy, please help me quickly. I am a boy and I can't bully girls.
Lingnan didn't know whether to laugh or cry for a while. He said helplessly, "What happened?"
Will glanced at the little girl. "This nasty girl wanted Sophie's garland, and when Sophie refused, she got angry and pushed her."
Bane is angry when she hears this, but when she sees Norton mArchimedesng an angry dash, she runs to him and catches him. "Norton, come to Mommy."
Norton clasps his hands and looks at the girl coldly. The girl is scared by his appearance and opens her mouth for a moment, wanting to cry but not knowing how to cry.
"Norton."
Norton took a deep breath, then delicately returned to Bane. He glanced at Sophie's bruise and said, "Sophie, is it still painful?"
Sophie shook her head. "I'll be fine, brother. Don't worry.
Sophie was afraid that Norton would run up again. She had seen it in the orphanage before. Children were not allowed to fight, and if they fought they would not get food.
Bane's lips moved, she felt a sudden breath of cold, and out of the corner of her eye she caught a glimpse of Bert's face, which was now cold, and, most of all, his eyes, which seemed murderous.
Startled, Bane tugged at him. "Calm down, Bert."
He was a little nervous, so he called him by name when he spoke.
Bane was now really worried that Bert would just throw the little boy straight down.
Bert took Sophie's hand, his eyes aching. "Are you hurt? Tell Daddy what else hurts."
"It's all right, Daddy."
Sophie hurried to comfort her.
The more sensible she was, the more Bert's heart ached.
He really regretted now that he hadn't just taken the whole ship and Sophie would have been safe.
But he also knew that Bane was right. He couldn't keep his children under his wing for the rest of his life.
Her cries succeeded in attracting her mother, who was heavily made up, had long blonde hair and was wearing a miniskirt.
"Jasmine, who dare to bully you, even dare to bully me Jasmine, really live impatient, is not you this guy! It must be you."
The woman looked directly at Will and spoke with malice.
Match to go up her makeup look, appear more ferocious terror.
When Molly saw that Mammy was near her, she ran up to her and immediately began to complain.
"Mommy, he bullied me."
Molly glanced at Norton beside her and spoke sharply.
The woman gets angry when she hears this, and makes a conscious rush to hit Norton.
"Little bastard, dare to bully my Molly."
With that, she's about to hit Norton in the face.
Bane's anger flared up, and she ran straight at Norton, cold in her skin.
In a split second, Bane unconsciously grabbed the woman's wrist and pushed her hard, sending her straight to the ground.
There was a lump in her ankle because of the high heels she was wearing.
The woman screamed out in pain.
Bert was a little surprised when he saw this.
It was the first time he had ever seen Bane like this. No matter what had happened before, she had always been submissive, and he knew that the events of five years ago had probably left a shadow on her.
But now his cat seemed to be a tiger cub.
Bane is really pissed now.
