Chapter 169 She's Dead
As long as he was around, Sophie and Norton would be fine, and she knew from the start that he would be a good father, which is why he would be absolutely safe.
That's why she's acting so hard.
And he believed it.
A child's secret ability to accept new things is very good, and they are so young that they must soon forget her.
They would have a new mommy, and she would have nothing to worry about.
She felt terrible pain now. She felt her stomach and whispered low.
"Son, I'm sorry, Mommy can't protect you."
Between the child and Bert, she had finally given up the child.
With the baby gone, there was no need for her to live.
She would never submit to a devil like that.
Bane got to her feet, trembling. There was blood underneath her. She felt as though she was going to tear.
But with the determination to die, she tried her last strength, "There are many ships coming and going here. If you jump down, you may still be alive."
And with that, she dashed forward like a mad man, oblivious to the pain. No one looked at her.
As she reached the railing, she threw herself over it, and as she fell she heard Bart roar, but she could not hear what he was saying.
The water filled her nose, ears and mouth in an instant. She closed her eyes and allowed herself to sink.
She kept repeating in her mind, "Sorry, Bert, Bert, I love you, love."
A few days later.
Island.
What happened on the island has been kept under wraps by everyone outside, and some of the damaged buildings on the island are being repaired urgently.
Nothing seems to have happened here.
Louis looked around for a while before spotting Shook at a higher point.
"Brother, what are you doing?"
Shook looked at the sea, "people still not found?"
Louie paused, suddenly helpless, "Elder brother, you don't look for, even Bert and they have already left."
"Oh."
"And we won't be able to find them on our own. They might have already gone."
Shook paused for a moment. He was well aware of this, but he didn't want to leave.
"Now, brother, think clearly. That woman betrayed Bert, and it was his choice not to go to her. It was none of our business."
They had seen what had happened that day, and Bert had, in a manner of words, a murderous heart in his heart, and to keep on searching now would be to seek death.
"Brother, let's give up."
Shu Ke also helpless sigh tone, "call the person all come back."
"The Johnathons are gone now, and you won't have any more trouble, brother. You won't have anything to worry about."
Louis couldn't be happier about the situation, but Shook's face was somber. He always felt that he had something to do with Bane, and now he felt very uncomfortable.
"Louis, help me find out about Miss Archimedes."
"What are you going to do now, brother? You can't be..."
Shook is still somewhat unhappy, "Don't talk nonsense."
Louis had to refrain from saying the rest, but he still could not understand Shook's meaning.
"Brother, why do you care so much about her?"
Shook doesn't know what's going on with her either, "I wonder if you've been close enough to see her?"
Louie probably recalled that he had only met a few times before and had not looked at them carefully so he did not have much contact.
"You should not have close contact, if you have contact, you will understand my mood now."
'What?
"I always felt like she was my own family."
It took Shook a long time to come up with the right word.
"Brother, what on earth are you talking about? That woman's name is Archimedes. She can't be our sister."
Shook, too, had a feeling that it was his fault, but he didn't say anything more and just walked back.
Two people quickly back to the Malaysia hotel, when they are ready to go up the elevator suddenly there is a girl also followed ran in.
He knocked him to the ground because he was running too fast.
Her bag fell to the floor.
"Excuse me, how are you?"
When the girl looked up to see Shuke, she thought he was handsome, and her face turned red immediately, "It's okay, I was too anxious just now."
Shook, by the way, picked it up for her, and a set of keys fell out of it. The key chain caught their attention.
Louie's face had been calm until he saw the key ring.
The contents of the key ring and the contents of its memory began to overlap.
Shook saw it too and grabbed the girl by the wrist. "Is this yours?"
The girl was shocked. She had just found the object and was going to give it to the front desk of the hotel, but now she didn't know what to say when Shook asked.
I just unconsciously nodded my head.
"Is your mother still alive?
Shook's eyes immediately reddened.
The girl was a little surprised, but the man in front of her was so handsome that she shook her head after a moment. "I don't know if my mother is still alive. I grew up in an orphanage."
"It's impossible..." Shook took a step back.
"You let go of me, you're hurting me."
"I'm sorry, I got a little excited, but are you sure this is yours?"
The girl wanted to shake her head at first, but she nodded subconsciously when she saw the eyes of two people.
Fate was changed in an instant.
...
Norton didn't notice anything was right until a few days later.
Mammy had not been home for days, and he and Sophie had known about it before Jick had taken them out, and he had seen Daddy only once.
And Daddy's face is sullen.
He didn't know what was going on. Everyone looked a little ugly, and Uncle Jick and Uncle Tom, who sometimes gave them a sympathetic look.
Norton grew more and more uneasy.
Still, she comforted Sophie.
"Uncle Jick, where's my mommy now?"
Jick glances at Norton nearby. "You just stay here, young master."
Subconsciously, he did not answer, and he did not know how to answer.
Norton clasped his hands and had no intention of giving up. "Uncle, where's my mommy?"
He spoke stubbornly.
Although the boss had not explicitly told them not to say anything, Jick was reluctant to say it either.
For he knew very well in his heart that the young master had always been more clever, and she would be very sad if she knew.
