Chapter 185 Moving
Norton and Sophie stretched out their hands like two little receptionists.
"Daddy, please have a seat."
Bane noticed that the dishes were all laid out on the table, and when she left she deliberately left them behind for fear of getting cold.
She glanced at Myron, who gave her a silent thumbs-up.
Sniffing that familiar smell and this, Bert suddenly croaked his mouth, and his eyes softened. "Did you do all this?"
"Well, you eat first, there is a little food."
With that, she went straight into the kitchen, fastened her apron, and got busy.
She wants to make a bowl of noodles.
The noodles are cooked and the soup is thickened.
Bert felt something melt in his heart as he smelled it.
"Mommy, why don't we have any noodles?"
"This is for birthday people."
Bane was amused.
"Then for Sophie's birthday, too."
"Good."
Bane rubs her head, and Norton immediately looks at Bert. "Daddy, hurry up and eat before we're all drooling."
Bert silently went to the three bowls and divided out the noodles for each one.
"And so will you."
Bane's heart moved as he picked up the noodles.
"Eat."
Bert spoke in a low voice, then bent his head eagerly to eat the noodles.
A strong aroma filled the mouth, and the soup alone would have taken a long time to cook, plus so many dishes.
I'm afraid she got up early in the morning and was busy.
And she's still pregnant.
This was the first time someone had been able to do this for him.
Bert's eyes grew gentler and Bane asked Myron to sit next to him.
He may be the butler of the family, but to them, Myron is more of a family member.
After all, he had grown up with Bert, and it was no exaggeration to call him a father.
Myron wanted to refuse, but the offer was hard to come by. He had to sit down.
Myron's eyes turned red as he saw how happy the family was. Her ladyship would have been glad to know.
Just thinking, the bowl suddenly more than a shrimp.
"And you eat more, Grandpa Myron. Mommy's cooking is so good."
Sophie said happily.
"All right."
Tears welled up in his eyes. He lowered his head to eat, feeling touched.
It's a pleasure to eat a meal.
Bert noticed, however, that Bane had only had some soup.
"Don't you feel well?
He was worried.
Bane shook his head. "I'm not particularly hungry."
Bert was obviously incredibly. He would have said more, but Sophie and Norton both came up with presents.
"Happy birthday, Daddy." Sophie said happily.
"Happy birthday, Daddy." Norton has one hand in his pocket, a few awkward openings.
Bert was about to open his presents, but the two little fellows stopped him.
"Daddy, you open presents when you need one."
"Good." Bert put his things away and looked aside at Bane.
But Bane didn't move at all. A flicker of loss flashed through his eyes.
But at the thought of her hard work to do so many things, and relieved.
Myron reached into his pocket and pulled out a neatly wrapped bag. "I wish my master would have this much fun every year."
Bert had some respect for the man who had seen him grow up.
Bert looked at Bane again, and Bane could not resist his eager gaze.
She got up and hurried the children off to their bath and bed.
"I have to go to kindergarten tomorrow. I have to go to bed early."
"Good."
The two children spoke cleverly.
Bane did not dare to look back at Bert at all, for she could feel his eager eyes as they walked so far.
Although she had decided to give him a chance and start over.
But that doesn't mean she can be intimate with her right away.
Bert chuckled, and went to the study with his presents.
The first thing he opens is Myron's little bag.
Because when it comes to giving it to him, Myron is so secretive.
He opened it, and it was a very delicate portable hard drive.
He took the computer out and plugged it in.
Myron's voice came from inside.
"My wife is going to make up a birthday for the young master, and I don't know when the young master can take this title and let my wife marry us openly."
Then there was a picture of Bane working in the kitchen.
Bane bowed his head in earnest, and Bert's heart softened as he saw it.
But before long, Bane suddenly covered his mouth and rushed directly into the bathroom. There was a sound of retching, which seemed to be very uncomfortable.
Bert's heart began to clench.
"Madame does everything herself, without the slightest help, to get master's supper ready. Master, you must not bully Madame any more."
The picture suddenly turns to the two children. They are blowing and tying balloons seriously, and occasionally they are talking quietly with their heads down.
It looks so sweet.
His wife, children, together to prepare a birthday party for him.
The warm feeling made his heart beat fast.
He reluctantly watched the video twice before he took out the mobile hard drive and carefully put it into a box for preservation.
He pulls out another box, a gift from Norton.
When I opened it, there was a book in it.
"Teach you how to get girls."
Bert paused for a moment and then laughed. It seemed that the boy was too bored to do anything but give him more homework.
When he turned to the first page, he found a few words written in blank.
"Daddy, happy birthday. Although mommy is not angry now, it doesn't mean she has forgiven you. I hope you can learn from this book and don't make mommy angry all the time."
Bert laughed and shook his head. He was a real little boy.
Bert opens Sophie's present. Sophie wraps it beautifully compared to Norton's.
Inside was a painting of the family of four, and it was obvious.
The picture made Bert's heart melt, and at the bottom was a very small notebook.
There are also a few incoherent words written in pinyin.
Sophie, be careful.
After opening it, there were only a few scattered words, perhaps because she could not write or express them, and Sophie would draw a little picture beside them.
Because he painted so well, it was easy to see.
Bert watched with a pang in his stomach.
The date of the diary begins when Bane brings Sophie back from the orphanage.
"Sophie was sick, and Mummy came to see me, and Mummy took care of me, and she lost weight, and she was sad."
