Chapter 24 Come back
"It's slow!"
Tom thought there was something strange about Bert today. Bert's decisions had never been so easily influenced by anyone before, but this was different. But Tom thought no more.
The car drove all the way to Old Mrs. Ron's, which was a very luxurious villa with a few hundred square meters of rockery garden. It occupied the best part of the town, and the market value was billions, and all the rich lived there.
Bert had been brought up in such a place, and he disliked it, and even abhorred it.
Arrived.
The carriage stopped, and as soon as the door was opened, two rows of servants stooped respectfully, and chorused, "Welcome your young master!"
Bert got out of the car and went straight into the house.
What comes into sight is the decoration of Chinese style retro style, which is very glorious, but it does not feel a trace of warmth from home, only endless cold and depressed.
In the middle of the room sat an old lady with silver hair. She was also dressed in rich clothes. Although she was old, her face was elegant and noble.
She picked up the left-hand side of the teacup, gently sipped a mouthful of tea, then slowly and calmly said: "you are back."
Bert was scornful, and said, "What on earth do you want?"
Old Mrs. Ron was so angry that she slammed her teacup to the floor and snapped, "Why, now you've grown up and grown, have you? Now you disobey me, don't you?"
Tom, who was nearby, said to himself, how could this stubborn old lady not understand what was going on? This home was not what it used to be.
Ron's Corporation was merely a piece of Bert's hand, not his, and he could destroy it whenever he wanted to.
Bert's underground business is huge, and he doesn't care about Ron's company.
Bert is sitting tight now, but he doesn't want to do it early, he wants to torture them slowly.
The old lady is so dozy and obstinate.
The old lady seemed to feel the cold look in Bert's eyes, which seemed ready to kill her at any moment, and said, with affected composure; "Why did you put out the news that you were seriously ill and still alive and dead, when you were fine?"
"If I don't do it," said Bert, sneering, "how can I get those people to leak out?"
"Who are they? They're all your uncles! '
Then Bert said coldly, "Well, Uncle? They deserve nothing but rubbish!"
At this the old lady reacted angrily, seized another cup, and beckoned to Bert's body.
Inconsciously Bert took a step back from the teacup, but at that moment a man came out of the crowd and steadied himself against it.
"Oh, it hurts, my head!
Her head was bleeding and she sank to the ground, bending her head in pain.
Bert, however, felt nothing of it, and still looked at her contemptuously.
Bats got up slowly and said quickly, "Granny, please calm down. Bert didn't mean to be angry with you. Shall we talk it over?"
Tom rolled his eyes. This woman seemed to know how to act, but was she too stupid to think that would change his opinion of her?
Seeing Betsy, the old lady takes aim at her and says, "Where's Norton? Why isn't Norton here?"
Betsy didn't know what to do, because the old lady had told her to find Norton and bring him back.
But she hasn't even seen a sign of Norton, much less brought him back.
Bert's too good to find Norton.
See here, the old woman can also know not found NORTON, then to the Herbert said: "this time your uncles were punished, I also don't want to pursue more, but NORTON is my grandchildren, I just want to teach him well, let him by my side to grow well, he is our RON family's posterity, I hope you can send him back."
Tom thought to himself that this old lady would say anything. She's getting too old to say anything.
As he had expected, Bert's face fell, and his eyes were cold enough to chill.
Bert said coldly, "I own the house! It's in my name now, and I'll give you three days to move out!"
"Bert Ron! How dare you!"
The old lady turned very ugly and her features seemed to warp, but the truth was that she could not help him.
Betsy, whose head was still bleeding, looked at Bert pityly and tried to go, but Bert's murderous spirit kept her back! Then Betsy stayed where she was and did not dare to move.
"Now, Bert, Granny's doing it for you too. Will you stop being angry with Granny?"
"If you really don't trust Norton with me, you can have Betsy here to take care of Norton. You're not so worried about Norton with his mother, I suppose?"
Hearing the old lady's words, Betsy was pleasantly surprised, but she had never been approved by the old lady, and now she said these words, obviously, she felt better about herself, it seemed that she had not wasted her time these days.
He was not loved by Bert, but it would be nice to be loved by the old lady!
Betsy thought that she had succeeded at last, but she did not know that the old woman meant nothing to Bert at all!
"Bert, I can take Norton here. You can rest assured that I'll take care of Norton. And with Grandma here, I think you can rest assured."
The grandmother nodded contentedly to one side, and looked at Bert, with such an abacus in her mind that she would not be able to control him when she had only the boy by her side.
All eyes were on Bert, and when he said yes, the old lady would send for Norton at once.
Bert's face sneered, and he said, "Remember, you won't be here in three days!"
Say that finish, turn around to go out, momentum one absolutely, where someone dare to stop?
Tom was going to follow, but a sudden idea struck him, and he cast a meditating look at Betsy Reed, and said: "Miss Reed mind her own affairs first!"
Tom had something to say that made Betsy Reed blanch.
...
Bane finally gave up all his shares to Bert, and his suspense was finally relieved.
After his meeting with Bert that day, as soon as Bane got back, he began working overtime on the share matter, and it was settled.
