Chapter 241 sad
NORTON is more upset than ever, but he knows he has no choice.
He gave Mammy a sad look.
"Mommy, I'll save you."
At last he looked up, crying.
Bane kissed him on the cheek and stroked his head grudgingly. "NORTON, Mommy's waiting for you. Mommy's out there distracting these people.
NORTON weeps and nods.
Bane takes a deep breath and steps outside, where NORTON crawls out.
Bane heads straight for the gate. NORTON runs to the back door, his only hope.
As Soon as Bane reached the door, a crowd gathered directly around him.
She immediately stepped in front, trying to give NORTON more of a chance.
"The man is here!
"Leave quickly."
With that, the two men rushed up to pull Bane away.
Bane calmly took a step aside.
"I can't go on now. Not only will I lose my baby, BUT I will also die. You don't want me to die."
The two men next to him paused and said something into the intercom.
It wasn't long before a man arrived with a wheelchair.
"No, isn't there supposed to be another child?
Someone noticed.
Bane's eyelids flickered wildly, but all she could do was play it cool.
She had to buy NORTON more time.
"It's too late. Go."
The men hurried away with Bane, and behind them, a small figure struggled to get out.
Bane was taken straight to the top floor, where there was a roof, where Tom was already waiting, and a helicopter.
The ladder fell, as if waiting for them to ascend.
Bane looked at him faintly. "Why you?"
Her voice was calm, so calm that Tom was surprised.
But he soon recovered his cynical manner and spread out his hands.
"Sister-in-law, I don't want to, but that's the way the world works."
"Aren't you afraid Bert will kill you?"
Tom's eyes gleamed with bitterness. "Why aren't you worried? But when I chose to do that, I was ready to go back. You just follow me, and I can keep you safe."
Bane said nothing more. All she had to do was wait patiently.
NORTON will be out in no time. The boy is smart. All he has to do is call Bert.
But it didn't take long for her to give up.
NORTON was brought in under pressure.
"Mommy, I'm sorry."NORTON gives Bane a look of remorse.
"Get them out of here."
Tom waved NORTON to Bane's side.
Bane takes NORTON by the hand and refuses to let go.
She was forced into the helicopter, and as she watched it slowly leave, Bane finally realized the truth.
It's too late.
Once on the plane, Tom blindfolded Bane and NORTON, and Bane didn't know where they were being taken until he heard the sound of the waves.
They were transferred from the plane to the ship.
NORTON tugged at Bane's coat and looked at Tom with anger in his eyes.
Tom raised his hand. "I'm sorry, NORTON jr."
"You are a traitor!NORTON looks at him and bellows.
Bane touches NORTON on the head and shakes his head at him, indicating that he should say no more.
It won't do any good to provoke Tom at this moment.
Before long, they felt the boat dock, and Bain and NORTON were taken to a villa, where they took her phone.
Bane even called in a maid and frisked her.
After searching them, he took them to change into a new set of clothes.
Tom is certainly being too cautious. Now she has no chance but to play it by ear.
One thing is certain, however, that...Tom didn't seem to want anything to happen to them.
He was serious about his fear of Bert.
I don't know why he did it, but at least she and NORTON are safe for now, and we'll see what happens.
The mother and son were locked in a room, and Bane noticed that the door was locked and there were some very large men standing outside the Windows.
Bane quickly checks on NORTON and is relieved to make sure the baby is okay.
She looked at NORTON and her eyes turned red.
"NORTON, why are you so stupid? Why are you coming back?If anything happened to you, Mommy wouldn't want to live."
NORTON looked up at Bane firmly. "Mommy, I told Daddy I had to protect you. I don't trust you alone."
Bane sighs. Silly boy. She looks at NORTON painstakingly and doesn't blame him.
"Mommy, daddy couldn't get through earlier, so I sent a text message wondering if it was okay."
"Yes."
She didn't really know.
Tom was, after all, Bert's most trusted man, and there must have been a certain certainty that he could make such a mess so brazenly.
There's a good chance Boss Burt is stuck by now, too.
Bane was trying to figure out what to do. She let the child sit aside to conserve energy.
Not long after, Tom came in from outside.
With some steaming food in his hand.
He sets the tray on the table, and Both Bane and NORTON give him faint glances without making any movement.
Tom sighs. "I wish I didn't, but I have to. I've lived underground all my life, and now they want Bert back."
"The underground?Over there?"Bain immediately got to the point.
Tom hesitated for a moment and sat down on the next sofa.
"I'm sure you know something about Bert, but what's going on on the Internet right now, it's not fake, but it's not true either."
Tom seemed to be doing what he was told, and he didn't look like he was trying to hurt her.
"Actually, I've been following my boss for a long time..."
"You don't get to call him boss now."
Bane raised the corners of his mouth coldly.
Tom stared a little, a hint of bitterness on his lips.
"I'm really not qualified now, I'm sorry, I don't want to be."Tom sighed helplessly.
Although Bane has always been a cold face, she really loves Bert. Tom and Jack have always been Bert's right arm, and he must feel sad to be betrayed suddenly.
And now Tom's sudden defection threatens to cause Bert great trouble.
