Chapter 45 Rescue Beauty
Blu said quickly, "Don't be afraid, Miss. I won't do anything to you. I really like the sound of your piano."
Bane paused, quickly remembering that this was the man who had just bought their table.
Blu's face is not aggressive, but he's deceptive, and he has an innocent smile. He's not a bad guy.
Reflecting on the drunken man who had been thoroughly ruined and his unaggressive brother on the other side, Bane opened the door without hesitation and got into the car.
As soon as Bert walked out of the bar, he saw Bane getting on the bus, and Riel, who came out with him, was immediately shocked.
Did Blu have the guts of a leopard?
Bert watched Bloom walk away with Bane, his face the same as before.
Blue, on the other hand, was excited and a little nervous, excited to get her into the car, and nervous because he had just sneaked out while Bert was in the bathroom, just to see her a little longer.
But he saw that she was in need, and it was his duty to help her.
"Hello, miss, I'm Blue Sell, may I have your name?"
"Bane Reed, thank you for helping me just now. Just drop me down at the next corner."
"I'll take you to your door. After all, it's late and you can't take a taxi. Besides... It wouldn't be nice to meet the same person again."
Bane continued, "And it's easy to get a taxi at the intersection. I don't have to take me back."
Blu was annoyed, but not wanting to force her, he stopped at the intersection ahead. He was about to say something, but Bane simply thanked him and left without giving him any room to speak.
Blu: Oh! The little heart was broken by the beauty!
Bane quickly got a cab and left.
Blu watched the beauty leave with a look on his face. He heard a message from Riel on his cellphone.
"My god! Blue Sell, you've changed! How dare you rob the woman Bert likes!"
Blu stared bitterly at the screen, then replied.
"Bert's got a wife..."
"What? You still think of Betsy Reed as Bert's wife? Good luck!"
The bitterness on Blu's face deepened.
Alas! He wants beauty too!
When the party was over, her colleagues treated her less warmly, but they did not ostracize her. Only Maria Davis remained the same.
But she doesn't have time to work at Bain now, because the fundraising is in a new round and everyone is busy.
Ward's position was so important that he was so deeply involved in the company that no one in the company dared to relax and was eager to stay there.
Bain had just joined the company, so she couldn't join the main operations team, so she was there to do market analysis, which was difficult, because why would Maria give her an easy job?
She wanted to dump all her troubles on Bane, so that when he made a mistake, she could send her on her way.
This time, Malia seized the opportunity. A large order was already overwhelming the company, and a small one came along that would have taken a lot of time to fill, would have been a pity to fill, and would have been too busy to fill. Ward was about to turn it down.
"Wait! It's a branch of the Blu family, and it will make some difference to us at Lakern if we refuse."
Ward frowned tightly. "But there's no time to do it now!"
"We'll both be in charge of this big deal. As for this one, I'll give it to Bane and give it to her. You said she's very capable, so I think she can handle it."
Ward thought this was a good idea, so he called Bane over and went through the list briefly.
Bane agreed without hesitation.
Worried, Ward said, "If you have a problem, let me know."
Ward was right to be worried. He knew what Bane was capable of, but it was six years ago. She had been out of society for six years, and it took her a while to catch up.
Ward did not know is that before this, Ben Reed had actually held a share of Ron's group, and it was a large order of $31 billion.
Maria was very happy in her heart, but she didn't show it. She had known about the company for a long time, and it was always in a state of negative profit. It could be said that the company was an empty shell and could not do anything at all.
To put it simply, the list would fail, and only a fool would take it, except that she had a connection to the Bloom family and knew something about it, and nobody else knew anything about it.
Maria could hardly suppress a smile when she saw Bane take the list without hesitation, and assigned her two assistants of average ability with special deftly.
She received the offer without further delay. It was a test, her first act back in the industry, as she made a field trip to the company to assess the risks of the investment.
The company, which had nothing to do with the Bloom family in name, was new and unknown. When Bane went there, she had no one to receive her. She had to wait a while for a nominal owner to receive her.
"How do you do, Miss Reed? Welcome."
He was wearing a pair of glasses. He looked more polite. His name was Jory Sale, and he was in charge.
Only Jory showed no warmth at all. He didn't look like he wanted to receive her.
Bain began to think, normally, this kind of newly established company, now the most needed is to find investors, she is now on behalf of Laikern to talk about investment, but the other side obviously did not pay attention to.
After talking for a while, Bain learned that Jory didn't want to raise money. He even wanted to get rid of the company, which was a little odd.
