Chapter 54 Unstopping
Bane wondered who would be making such a fuss about her.
Ward?
It was the only guess she thought possible.
She suppressed her panic and said, "If you let me go, I'll treat it as if nothing happened."
"For wishful thinking!
The man turned around and said, "Stop her!"
Say that finish, go out directly, see this man go out, her heart more flurried.
As soon as he got out, the man kicked over the chair in front of him, pulled out his cell phone and started calling.
"Why didn't you tell me this woman had such a strong background? ! Now we are directly surrounded here! And that's Bert Ron!"
Answer the person tone of telephone immediately panic, way: "you hurry that woman to kill! Save the mischief!"
"It's easy to say," sneered the man. "If she dies, neither my brother nor I will live! You'd better do something for me at once, or you'll never get over it as long as I'm here!"
After hanging up the phone, the man's face darkened even more, wondering how Bert Ron had managed to seal off this area.
The person of the other side of the phone is also very flustered, think all did not think, go straight to the flower city district.
As soon as Rosa opened the door, she turned pale and pulled the man inside.
"Are you going to kill me? How could you come here? ! What can others do if they see it? Don't you hurt me!"
"You only care about yourself? Do you know you're going to kill me?"
Rosa's face instantly turned ugly and said, "What are you angry at me for?"
"Tell me the truth. Who protects Bane Reed?"
"What are you talking about?
"I paid good money to have them tie her up, and now they're surrounded! You know what would have happened to us both if those people hadn't escaped! '
Rosa's face suddenly turned white. 'How can this be? Bane Reed had nothing left. How could anyone save her? Tell those men to kill her! '
"Kill? That's easy to say. If she dies, you think we'll live? Bert Ron took someone. Isn't Betsy his fiancee? How did he get involved in this?"
Rosa turned pale for a few minutes and asked, trembling, "Yes... Bert Ron went?"
"Bert Ron is the only one who can do it, or who else would be able to encircle such a large area! You get Betsy here and tell her to stop Bert Ron while I go and get someone to rescue them."
"May I?
"What else can you do? Or just sit here and die?"
"Chris Daya, don't you frighten me!"
"You think I'm bluffing you? I've always told you to go ahead and kill Bane Reed straight in prison. It's normal to die in prison anyway, and you're kind of soft."
Rosa was also very regretful. She had never thought of Bane Reed's early release from prison. She had calculated ten years, and ten years later everything was a foregone conclusion.
A moment's softenness is a moment's trouble.
But Rosa still refused to admit her regret.
"I'll send for Betsy at once, and you go and settle the matter, and don't come to me here again."
"Well, I'll go right away. You hurry."
As soon as Chris left, Rosa called Betsy over and was very angry.
"How many times have I told you that you seduced a lonely man when you seduced Bert?"
Betsy's face was wronged. "You know, Mother," she said, "that Bert won't even look at me. What could I do? Besides, he's been guarding me all this time."
Rosa, almost fainting with anger, said, "I have succeeded in getting you to be Bert's betrothed, but you have done nothing, and now Bert is going to see Bane Reed himself. He must have found something out, or there wouldn't have been such a fuss!"
"Mother, you must save me. If he knew this, he would certainly kill me! Then all our efforts were in vain! Mom, you help me!"
"Shut up!"
Betsy closed her mouth quickly, her face beseeching.
"How are you getting on with the old lady?"
"The old lady was very kind to me, and told me that from now on I would be Bert's only wife.
"You go down to the old lady at once and tell her to call back Bert Ron and keep him out of the way."
"But..."
"No buts, but do what I tell you. If Bert doesn't like you, you can make Old Lady like you, and you can stay as long as she's with you."
Betsy had done something that pleased Rosa. She knew that the old lady had no control over Bert's affairs, but she had some influence over him, and since she could not take his side, she was the best choice.
"You go to the old lady at once, and tell her what happened six years ago; and be sure to tell the old lady that the Reed family will always be on her side."
Betsy's face was full of surprise. "Mother! You -- are you really going to do this?"
'Don't talk so much, and go quickly. The old lady will help you!'
The old lady knew what to do with a fiancee who had complete control over Bert.
Betsy did not delay any longer, and hurried off to the old lady.
Bert had found his place, and was about to head for the warehouse, when he was stopped.
"Boss, we've been stopped."
Bert's face was very grim. "Go!" said he.
"Sir, the old lady sent those men."
Bert pursed his lips, and there was a dark air all over him, as if a storm were coming.
Just then, a man got out of several cars that had blocked the road, cell phone in hand.
"Sir, the old lady's on the phone."
Bert sneered and took the phone over.
"Bert, what on earth do you want? Do I think we're making a joke at Ron's? For the sake of a woman, no face at all?"
'Send these people away!
"Bert Ron! Is that how you talk to grandma? I am your elder!"
"I don't want to do it again, and I know you won't like it!"
