Chapter 56 I've come to fetch you
Jack replied, "I think we're going to the woods over there. That's the only place we can get around."
Bert clasped his hands tightly. "Get all the men out of the cars," he said. "Get the men together here, and surround the woods! We can't let any break pass."
"Boss, you still go back inside the car first."
Jack didn't want Bert to come down and look for someone.
After all, Bert had been hit on the head all this time, then had been in a car accident, and was still here in the rain. He couldn't afford to be here if something went wrong.
But Bert went straight to the wood, and the water spluttered on the legs of his trousers, and, in spite of his most scrupulous cleanliness, he did not mind it.
"Me too!
"Boss, you still return car inside wait!"
"If she is not found, Norton will surely run away again."
"Boss, I will certainly find the person, you go back first."
Bert stopped for a moment, and a faint smile came into his face, and his eyes were determined.
"I was wrong on that occasion six years ago, and I am going to get her back myself."
His shadow was soon obscured by the rain, and his steps became more and more determined.
The heavy rain washed away the traces of the kidnappers, but also made them lost in the woods.
"Eldest brother! How to do? We can't see our way in this weather, we can't find our way! '
"Signal also no, also can't make a phone call, big brother, where should we go?"
"Are you really going to be trapped to death?
Bane had no strength to go any further. She had not eaten or drunk for a whole day, and she had been running so far that her strength was exhausted and she could not go any further. She knew that there was only one chance for her to go any further.
She didn't go any further and said, "I, I need to go to the bathroom!"
Under the circumstances, this was a very inappropriate request; after all, they had lost their way in the woods and were already going round in circles, already in a state of extreme irritation.
She spoke to Bart again, as softly as she could, and put on a timid look.
But Bart did not believe her, and said, "Come with us! Don't try to get out. I don't know your little thoughts."
Bane anticipated the rejection, and this time he walked at a slower pace.
"No, don't push me! If I go too fast, I can't hold it."
Having refused her request to go to the bathroom, Bart said no more when she said she was going to walk more slowly.
As they walked, Bane and Bart were at the end of the crowd, while the others in front looked for their way out.
Bane's heart was beating fast. She stared intently at the mark she had just left. When she saw it, she gritted her teeth and jumped straight off the nearby landslide.
Bart reacted, reached for it, missed, and watched her fall.
As Bane rolled down the landslide, she cut the rope around her wrists and crawled into a nearby pit, covering herself with branches and leaves.
She huddled in the hole, and there was no place she didn't feel pain, because when she fell, her whole body was scratched.
In my ear, I could still hear Bart's roaring voice, calling the men down to look for her.
Bane clasped herself in her arms, tears streaming down her eyes. The prospect of being caught again was over. She didn't want to die yet.
She did not know how long she could remain hidden, but she only wished them to leave.
God seemed to be on Bane's side as the rain grew heavier. It was raining so hard it was hard to see.
Several times, she heard footsteps getting closer and closer to her. Bane couldn't catch her breath. As those footsteps got farther and farther away from her, she remembered the phone in her pocket and pulled it out.
Good, we got a signal!
She rang a phone in a hurry, and it happened to be Bert Rowan's.
When the call came through, Bane burst into tears.
Bert's deep, cool voice came on the other end of the line.
"Bane Reed?"
Bane tried not to cry. "I..." he whispered.
"Where are you now? What position are you in? I am in the wood, too. Don't be afraid."
At the moment Bert's voice was heard, Bane's strength all the way collapsed.
For the first time she felt that she would be so weak, she clutched the phone.
She knew that she was still in danger, that the men were still looking for her, but she could not control her tears.
"Don't be afraid, you calm down for a while, and then turn on the location of your mobile phone, tell me about your environment there."
It is impossible not to be afraid.
To be kidnapped here suddenly, to face a group of people who could kill her at any moment, all her self-control had been exhausted.
She managed to control her sobs, and then explained briefly what had happened around her. At last, she cried, sobbing.
"Bert Ron, help me... Save me... Sophie is still waiting for me..."
The cell phone suddenly went off, but Bane caught Bert's three words just in time.
"I will."
She grabbed her cell phone, which had been turned off, and hugged herself tightly, letting her tears fall with the rain.
When Bert found Bane, he was curled up like a baby, clutching himself in his arms, his body covered in rotting leaves.
There was a rare tenderness in Bert's eyes, and his heart relaxed for the moment.
He wouldn't let anyone near her, and it was he who picked Bane up.
At the moment his hand touched her, Bane's eyes flew open with fear, and Bert's heart gave a sharp pain.
He could not help softening his voice and said, "No, I have come to take you back."
"Bert Ron..."
"Well, I'm coming. I'll take you home."
But Bane quickly closed his eyes again and fainted in his arms.
When he touched her, he realized that she had a fever.
Bert's face darkened, and he gave the order, "Trapped this wood for me, and we must fetch those men!"
Jack was surprised and replied quickly, "Yes!"
Bert picked Bane up and left, Jack sighing as he looked after Bert.
The boss is so angry, he has not seen for a long time, this is such a big fight, this is not going to be a hasty settlement.
Six years later, it's ridiculous not to find the right person.
