Chapter 61 Bane's Song
Bane was about to say no when he saw that the atmosphere in the box was not very good. Though the others were laughing and smiling on the surface, their eyes were still looking this way.
So on the tip of my tongue, it just becomes, "Yes."
Bert smiled, looked up at the other man, and said, "Funny hour."
The men stopped talking in an instant, and looked at Bert.
The pretty girl who had been watching Bert stood up and said, "I've just learned a new song. I'll give you one."
Say that finish, went up to point a song.
This song is very lyrical.
As soon as the girl had sung the first line, Bane had to admit that she had a good voice, that she sang professionally, and that there was something about her. She was probably a music student.
But while the song was good, it was trying to be attractive, and Bane couldn't say it.
Bert looked at her. "Not pretty?"
"No... No! It sounds good."
Bert looked away, and then put down his glass, and Bane knew that Bert had not taken a sip.
The man is on the alert.
In such atmosphere inside, can accomplish however free outside, moreover, also can grasp this degree very well.
Bane was perplexed, feeling that the longer she stayed with Bert, the less she understood him.
"Mr. Ron, what do you want to hear? I'll sing it for you."
When the pretty girl had finished her first song, she asked Bert.
The men began to heckle.
But Bert ignored him. Instead, he looked at Bane and said, "What would you like to hear? You say."
The girl's eyes fell to Bane's as though she was going to see through her.
"There's nothing I want to hear."
Seeing what he was about to say, Bane said quickly, "I'm tone-deaf. I can't sing."
She should not have said that, for Bert's interest came straight out of it.
"You go for one."
"... I can't sing and I don't want to spoil the mood."
But when Bert looked into his eyes, Bane changed his mind...
She suddenly stood up, went to the edge to get a mic, and chose a song at random.
In the beginning, all eyes were on her with a trace of expectation on her face.
After all, it was Bert Ron who brought this woman over, so she must have a good head on her feet.
Blue's eyes fell on Bane, and Riel's on Bert.
What did Bert want? Why bring Ben Reed into the mix?
Besides, Betsy Reed was Bane Reed's sister, but what now?
While Riel was still pondering the matter, he heard singing very badly out of tune.
Everyone was stunned.
That didn't bother Bane at all, and he was still singing.
There are a lot of people whose voices are directly proportional to their appearance.
But those who can sing in a completely different key are rare.
Bane soon finished singing the song, then calmly returned to the original seat, smiled and said: "disgrace."
Bert tried to suppress a laugh, but he could not.
He sat with his hands on his forehead and his back on the sofa, shaking his shoulders with laughter.
Bane's face soon turned red when he saw Bert laughing like that.
The other man's face was written with surprise.
It was the first time they had ever seen Bert like this.
"Why are you laughing? I know I'm not a good singer!"
Bane was ashamed and angry. She had been unable to sing well, even if she was a very good pianist. She hardly ever sang, so few people knew that she was out of tune.
It's a good thing she has a nice voice. Otherwise, these people's ears would have suffered.
Bert was still laughing, and his shoulders were shaking. It was the first time he had ever been so happy.
He was really surprised that Bane was out of tune. He thought she was trying to say no.
Most of all, it reminded him of Norton.
That Norton kid is really smart. He can do almost anything, but when it comes to vocal music, he's terrible.
He hired some of the world's greatest musicians to teach him, but Norton's vocal music remained the same.
The first complaint against a teacher in Norton was over vocal music.
Bert, who had been so surprised, now saw that it was all heredity.
These two mother and son, singing are not good, crazy out of tune, run away even, but also can do to continue to sing.
Ina Becky, who was nearby, gritted her teeth bitterly. Bert would be here today, and she had gone out of her way to inquire about it, to learn a new song, and to put her friend out of her way.
To my surprise, Bert didn't respond to the song she had been practicing for so long. Instead, he was so happy with a song that was out of tune.
Jealousy drove her crazy.
When Bert had laughed enough, his eyes fell upon Bane, a little less cold and a little more tender.
Bane looked away quickly, flustered.
"Fine."
"Oh, thank you."
He stood up and looked down at her. "Come on. Go back."
Bane jumped to his feet, his face filled with excitement.
He pointed to the coat beside it, and Bane picked it up.
Bert looked around at the crowd and casually said, "You can play. I'll pay for it."
With that, they left with Bane, leaving the rest of the crowd looking dazed.
Bert and Bane had both come and gone as suddenly as they had come, but one thing they both knew was that the woman was very popular with Bert Ron.
People are already trying to figure out who Bane is.
Only Blu and Riel knew what Bert meant to-night.
Riel sighed insofar as he knew that Bert was going to rob him, and that no one could get away if he was after him. He had brought Bane with him only to claim sovereignty.
Almost all the influential people in the imperial capital have come here tonight, so we must avoid giving way when we see them in the future.
Bert is like a patient spider, laying his trap one step at a time, waiting for the prey to jump in and hit him directly.
Bane had fallen into Bert's trap, but he didn't see it, and thought he had escaped.
"What?" said Bert, seeing her sigh of relief. Don't like it?"
Bane made no secret of it. "No, I shouldn't be in that environment."
The fact that one of them was there, a person of consequence, and that she saw Blu there, and that Blu was Jory's cousin and heir to the Searle family, was a sign of what kind of people they were.
"I'll take you."
Bane was about to refuse when he shut his mouth again.
But in the parking lot, Bert got into the passenger seat.
Bane was stunned.
