Chapter 78 Feigning Illness
Bane, with a smile, brought out the other breakfast, and set it down in front of Bert, saying, "Take this, and see how it tastes."
Bert glanced at the breakfast in front of him, then at the happy Norton, and pressed his lips in a disapproving manner.
Bane suddenly a little nervous, he why not happy? Was it because she had entered the kitchen without his permission? But he had invited her over to cook.
Bane watched him anxiously, and at last Bert picked up his knife and fork and put the omelet in his mouth.
Bane was nervous.
But Bert didn't say anything, just kept eating, and so did Norton.
Bane's suspenseful heart was relieved and she still ate the nutritious meal she had just had. To be honest, this nutritious meal was really good, but Norton was still a child and didn't know how to match the nutrition, just how the food tasted and how good it was.
If it's not delicious, no matter how nutritious it is, you can't eat it, and the nutritious meal is wasted.
Norton is so thin that she needs supplements, and she has come up with several ways to try them, so she can't help but think of them in her mind.
It was the first time they had ever seen Mr. Ron and Norton finish a meal. The cook, in particular, was staring out of his eyes, but he had to admit that Bane had made a very good breakfast.
The perfect combination of fun, taste, and nutrition makes it impossible for a child to hate.
Myron, standing aside, a happy smile on his face, his eyes still a little wet, little Norton so happy to eat food, he has not seen in a long time, little Norton was born like a stuffed bun as fat, but because of one thing, from now on the food has been rejected.
After breakfast, Bane decided to leave. Sophie was still expecting her to visit. It was a holiday, so she was not required to work, but she was going to Sophie's.
When Norton saw that his mother was leaving, he suddenly fell down in the dumps and became very unhappy.
Bane was a little pained to see Norton, but she cared more about Sophie than she did.
Bert said casually, "I'll take you there."
"Ah? No, don't bother. I'll just take a taxi."
Bert points to Norton. "Just about to take him in for a check-up."
Norton Ron: "??"
His face is baffling, his body can be no condition, father how to take him for examination?
Ah! I got it!
At last Norton sees the point and goes straight on, pretending to be miserable, "Oh, father! Please take me to the hospital quickly, I feel sick in my stomach."
Bert nodded. "Go on," he said.
Bane looked at the men for a moment, but did not doubt what they were saying. After all, in her opinion, children do not lie.
"Norton, do you have an upset stomach? Matter?
Norton immediately put on a performance, tightly hold of Bane's hand, said: "beautiful aunt, I have a stomach upset, these days can not eat."
Myron Ron:??
Hasn't little Norton ever had enough to eat?
Besides, isn't there a doctor in the house? And it's on call 24 hours a day. If you have a stomachache like this, you can check it at home. Unless it's very serious, you need to go to the hospital.
But Myron's instinct told him that it was best to say nothing now, to do the best job a housekeeper can do -- not to spoil the father and son.
Bane's face is concerned, and he touches Norton's tummy. "What's going on? Was it something you didn't want to eat?"
Norton reaches out to Bane and says, "Pretty auntie, hug."
Bert, standing on one side, almost laughed at Norton's maleficence.
He was so cold that no one could hold him, not even him, Bert.
"Can't you walk? Hug what?"
Ignoring Bert's words, Bane picked Norton up and weighed him, his face worried. "You're still too light. Eat well."
Norton is lying on his stomach in his mother's arms, his eyes red as he looks wistfully at the real embrace of his mother.
He wanted to call his mother, but he promised his father that he could not call his mother now. He could not call his mother until everything was settled.
Bane sees Norton and thinks he's in a terrible state of distress. "Bert Ron, let's get to the hospital. Norton's in a terrible state."
Norton grunts at the right time, and Bane quickly gives Norton a reassuring pat on the back.
Bert looks at Norton, but says nothing.
They then take them to the hospital, where Bane plans to meet Sophie as soon as he arrives, but Norton bawls to go with him.
Norton wants to see his sister, too, so he wants to go with Bane.
Bert beside him said nothing yet.
Bane had no choice but to take both of them to Sophie's room.
As soon as Sophie saw her mother coming, she dropped her paintbrush and quickly climbed out of bed.
"Mother!
Bane quickly picked her up and kissed her on the cheek.
"Did Sophie take her medicine?"
"Yeah! Sophie is very obedient, and the doctor tells me I'll be all right soon."
Bane smiled, and his face was full of laughter.
Sophie poked her head out and saw Norton following Bane. She blinked for a moment before calling out, "Little brother."
"Sophie, long time no see," Norton says with a smile that makes him forget he's faking it.
Bane released Sophie. "Brother's here to see you," he said. "Uncle Ron's here, too."
This delighted Sophie, who watched her flutter around like a butterfly. After greeting Bert, she took Norton's little hand to look at her toys and her paintings.
Bane never looked at them with a smile on her face, but when she looked behind them, she knew something was wrong.
Norton and Sophie look awfully alike, too.
Before, Sophie's face was pale because of her bad condition. She always looked sick, which was not so obvious. But now, Sophie has been treated with new medicine for a period of time, and her condition has been greatly relieved, and her face is getting better and better.
Now it seems that they look so much alike, even the same age.
