Chapter 80 Double Out of Tune
Sophie was a little shy at this, and began to writhe.
Bane suppressed his bitterness and smiled. "Really? How about Sophie sing it to Mamma?"
"But...... But Sophie doesn't sing very well..."
"It's all right. Mum loves Sophie."
"Well, I'll sing it."
Sophie cleared her throat, looking for a tune, which Bane could not help but look forward to. She really could not sing, but Sophie's voice was good enough that she might be able to train in it.
But Sophie had just sung the first line...
Bane froze and tried to smile. She didn't want to upset Sophie.
"I am little Laipi, little crocodile crying, my home in Egypt..."
A little crocodile song, completely out of tune, came out of Sophie's mouth.
Even Anne was stunned. Sophie had, of course, heard her humming in the hospital room, but normally Sophie would sing it in chunks rather than in unison.
It wasn't very nice, but Sophie's voice was so nice that it didn't sound bad either.
But now...
Anne began to worry about the child.
But Sophie, unaware that she was out of tune, sang happily and conscientiously, while Norton clapped his hands and then joined her in singing.
That's a double out of tune.
Bane shook his head resignedly. There was more to the boys than they looked.
No one saw that Bert's hands tightened on the steering wheel a little more, his face filled with resignation, and he sighed quietly.
Well, we need to find two vocal teachers.
When the children's magic sounds were over, they too reached the quay, and if they wanted to go to the island, they would certainly go by ship.
Bane certainly didn't want to hurt the boys' self-esteem, so he complimented them with lies through his teeth.
The children blushed instantly, Sophie in embarrassment and Norton in delight, having been told for the first time by their mother that they were a good singer!
Hum! Dad was lying to him!
There were already people with yachts ready, waiting for Bert and the others to come.
They were soon aboard the yacht, which was very luxurious and had three floors. Sophie had never seen the sea before, and it was the first time she had ever seen it, so she was immediately fascinated.
Bane stood beside Sophie, looking out over the vast ocean, his whole heart brightening.
"Mom! How nice it is here!"
"Will Sophie like it?"
'Yes!
Sophie nodded earnestly, her eyes twinkling, bright and lovely.
Norton was delighted, too. He took Sophie's little hand in his. "Sophie," he said, "shall we have a look over there?"
Norton knows Sophie is his sister, so he thinks about her everywhere. Bane doesn't worry about this. Norton is only five years old, but his mind is more mature than his age.
To such a dangerous man as Bert, she wanted only to keep her distance, and to run after the children to keep them from falling.
Norton has a lot of respect for Anne because she's kind and she's Sophie's godmother, so he counts Anne as his godmother.
Anne can't help loving Norton, and she can't help loving the fact that Sophie may be Norton's sister.
Bane looked out over the sea in a happy mood, and Bert stood beside her, with his hands in his pockets at random, quite relaxed.
Bane suddenly remembered yesterday, thought for a moment, and then said, "Bert Ron, was I drunk last night?"
When she asked him about it, Bert's mouth croaked and he said, "Well? Don't you remember?"
Hearing this, Bane got worried and asked nervously, "Well... Did I do anything?"
Did she forget?
"Yes," said Bert, faintly surprised, "and more than one."
"A lot?" Bane asked subconsciously. But I haven't finished a glass of wine..."
"But what you drink is vodka, that wine has a lot of staying power, this vodka concentration is so high, ordinary people would not even drink half a glass."
"How do you know what I drink?"
"Of course I know it smells so strong."
Bane didn't think it was right either. She wasn't much of a drinker, to be sure, but half a glass wasn't enough to get drunk.
Is that vodka?
She remembered that Maria had poured it for her, and without further thought she clapped glasses with them all.
In that case Maria meant it. Something to do with Ward, I suppose.
"What are you thinking about?
The sound of Bert's voice in his ear made Bane jump. He raised his head and met Bert's eye.
Bane took a few steps back, hiding the sudden quickening of his heart, then turned and said, "No, I wasn't thinking about anything."
"It's wrong to lie."
"No, I didn't. I went to Sophie's."
Say that finish, hurried away, she can not want to stay with this man together, this man's eyes are too terrible.
It won't be long before the ship reaches the shore.
It's a man-made island with tens of thousands of acres of everything from hotels to entertainment facilities. It's a vacation paradise, but it's not fully open, so there aren't many people.
The sea breeze gently blows, so that the temperature of the island has been in a comfortable state, the sight of everywhere, is full of scenery.
Bane must admit, this place is really great to visit.
Bert looked at his watch and said, "It's still early. I've booked a hotel. Let's go and have a rest and eat later."
Sophie and Norton were so excited that they had been playing on the yacht, so they got down a little tired, a little tired on their faces. Bane, of course, didn't say anything when he saw that they were both tired.
Malaysia Hotel is the most luxurious hotel on the island and is six star rated.
Burt had already arranged this, so as soon as the cruise ship docked, they were picked up by car and taken to their hotel.
Soon they were there, and Bane took a look at the hotel. The name of the hotel was engraved with a delicate violet. For some reason, Bane always had a familiar feeling about the logo.
"Mom, what's the matter?
Bane pulled his thoughts back and took Sophie's hand in his. "Yes, Sophie," he said. "Is there anything wrong with Sophie?"
Sophie shook her head earnestly.
They had booked two rooms together, Anne with Bane and Sophie, and Bert with Norton.
