Chapter 83 The Escape from Norton
Just then, Bane caught sight of the ferocity in her eyes.
I knew that Norton and this woman were going to be a bad thing. Bert had left Norton in her hands, and would be furious if he came back and found out that Norton had been taken away.
And Bert's fury was more than anyone could bear.
"Betsy Reed, Norton cannot leave with you. Bert Ron must be asked."
Bane couldn't defend Norton properly, so he had to use Bert to crush Betsy Reed.
Bates, however, was determined to do it in Bert's absence, so she quickly grabbed Norton's hand, and Bane held Norton away.
Bates was angry at once and shouted at Bane with great fury, "Bane Reed! Please put yourself in the right position! I'm his mother! Why do you meddle in your own business? I'm Burt Ron's fiancee. When's the last time you're gonna start talking? !"
Sophie screamed, reaching out her hand to slap Betsy, Shouting: "Go away! You go away! You won't bully mother and little brother!"
Betsy's eyes fell on Sophie, and as she protected them, a thought of evil crossed her mind as she tried to push her.
Bane saw what she was trying to do and shouted, "No!"
When Betsy's hand was about to drop, Anne rushed forward and caught her wrist.
Betsy was so sore that she fell to the ground. "You, what do you want?"
Anne quickly grabbed Sophie in her arms and examined her with a concerned look. "Sophie, are you all right?"
Sophie shook her head, put her hands around Annie's neck, and called out to Betsy, "Gamma! What a bad man! She bullies mom and little brother! We quickly find the police uncle!"
Betsy stared at them fiercely, shook her wrists, and said fiercely, "What do you want? To take my child away from me? I'm Norton's mother! I deserve to take him away!"
Norton can't take it anymore. He shouts, "You're not going to take me away! Get out of here! Otherwise father won't let you go!"
Bates felt a little frightened at the thought of Bert, but she soon subdued her voice. "Norton, may I take you home? You too grandma really miss you, you and I go to see her, you don't cold her heart, her body is not as good as one day, in case of a point of accident..."
'It's better she's dead!
From behind Betsy came a cold, determined voice.
Betsy was immediately stunned and did not dare to look back.
Bert came quickly, and every heart seemed to be touched by him. His face was very sullen, and a storm was brewing in his eyes, and the pressure dropped as he came.
He was very angry.
Bane could see that, but she was not afraid. She breathed a sigh of relief. He was here, so Norton wouldn't have to be taken away by Betsy.
Bane is genuinely afraid. After all, Betsy is Norton's real mother, and she has no right to stop him.
When he saw his father coming, Norton stopped biting his lower lip, but he still bit it where he had hated his father's stink face.
But for the moment, Norton thought his father's smelly face was the best!
""... Bert..."
Bessie swallowed her saliva and climbed up from the ground, looking arrogant and domineering in an instant. She was as docile as a rabbit.
""... Bert, why didn't you and Norton tell me you were coming down here? Norton and I haven't seen each other for so long. It's so... Miss him so much..."
Betts also squeezes out her affectionate gaze, trying to look as if she misses Norton.
But when Bert saw this, he was only amused.
'I advise you to get out of here!
If all that had been planned, he would have torn straight through Betsy's false face.
Bert, who had always been cold to her, would not give her a chance.
"Bert, I haven't seen Norton for a long time. I'd like to spend some time with my son."
Bates tries to impress Bert with these words, hoping that he will allow her to take Norton away.
Bert looked at Betsy as if he were reading a joke, and said, "Are you sure?"
At these words, Betsy's heart quivered, and she stared. A little wonder came into her eyes.
Did Bert find something?
Wrong! That's impossible! If he'd known, he'd have come after her.
That's right! He certainly doesn't know that yet!
So why is that?
At that moment, Bates's eyes fell upon Bane and Norton, and all sorts of speculations sprang up in her mind. She grinned her teeth and shouted at Bane, "Bane Reed! What are you trying to do? Why are you holding my son? !"
Bane's brows wrinkled and he began to hesitate. Norton, after all, was Bates's child, and it seemed inappropriate to hold someone else's child.
"I don't want to see her," Norton says, wrapping a mist over his eyes as he wraps his mother in his arms.
Norton really hates Betsy. She's been pretending to be his mother. She's no good to him. Now he's finally got her.
Bane's heart melted at the sight of Norton's wronged appearance.
Bert sneered at Betsy. "What are you doing here? Where are the people you were with?"
Bert's words had washed away the last remnant of Bates's spirit.
It was Sijo with her! Of course she had come without telling Bert!
If Bert finds out about this, everything she's worked so hard for will go down the drain.
"Oh, no... When I'm alone, I like to go out when I'm free..."
"Are you sure?
"Yes, yes, I just want to come out for a walk, this time of mood a little bad......"
Betsy was really worried that Bert knew what had happened to her, and most of all, Sicko was here now, and if Bert saw her, she would have no way of explaining it.
So the most important thing now is to leave!
Thinking of this, Bates also gave up the idea of taking Norton away, to save herself first is the most important!
"That...... Well, Bert, I'm a little tired, so I'll just go, Norton, and Mother will come and see you later."
With that, Betsy quickly slipped away.
This crisis has finally been relieved.
Norton is also let down by Bane, and though she wants to hold on to him, she pushes him away.
Just then, a little weirdness came over Bane.
At one point, she had a delusion that she was Norton's mother.
