Chapter 32
He had found Raszhiel's location. Thanks to Lincoln and Nicholas. Cayne's heart were filled with so much horror. When Raszhiel called him he got relief. But when he heard Anica's voice on the other line, he got so nervous.
He prayed as they continue to search the deep woods. The whole team was there, searching for an old house that Raszhiel had described.
"How long?" He asked.
"Five minutes," the man replied, never looking back as he lead the way.
Five minutes. All he need is five more minutes. He prayed Raszhiel could hold on by the time he could arrive.

Raszhiel's POV
I dodged as she tried to shot me, using the counter where I used to hold unto.
By now, I knew Cayne, Lincoln and Nicholas is on there way here. I just need to hold for myself a little longer. Lucky for me, I had taught myself when I was in highschool about self defense. I just need to get the gun away from her, and that I think would be a great advantage for me.
I could hear clearly the sound of her shoes clacking softly on the wooden polished floor.
I stayed hidden and crouched, not even daring to breathe as she try to get closer.
"I already knew your there, bitch," she said mockingly. "Don't you think that you're just prolonging the inevitable? If you come out now, I promise you it'll be quick."
And then her leg came into view. I grabbed it without hesitation, earning a surprised shriek form her. I yanked her leg, knocking her off balance. The sound of the gun skid across the room and out Anica's hands were like music to my ears.
I scrambled to get to my feet, making a run for the gun. She grunted and stumbled to her feet. I was almost inch away from the gun when she tackled me, knocking both of us to the ground.
I reached for her gun. It was only few inches away from her. And she was also reaching for it. I stop reaching and throw my elbow back, hitting her on the nose.
She fell back, her weight on my back was removed. I hurriedly grab the gun and quickly turn to face her, pointing it directly at her.
She laughed evily. "What you gonna do? You gonna shoot me?" She asked holding her nose.
Blood were sweeping in her nose down to her body.
"I will if I have to," I responded calmly, getting to my feet slowly.
"Why don't you do it then?" She said trying to look a step forward to me. I backed away.
She laughed wickedly. "Poor you. I know you couldn't do it."
"I don't need to kill you, but if you try to make a move again. I promised I will shoot you." Her eyes gleamed and it focused on something behind me.
I was tempted to turn around but I still did. I saw Cayne. Then a sudden realization hit me, Anica hurriedly went and took the gun away from my hand and pointed it one me.
Cayne hurriedly went in front of me. Trying to cover me by his his body.
"Stop it already, Anica." He said trying to calm her.
"No, you stop it. You're not supposed to be here. All I need is that bitch to be gone." She said, shivering.
"This is not you, Anica. Please, don't make any more mistakes. You already ended two lives."
"Fuck them! If they didn't mess with my plan they're supposed to be alive. It's not my fault that they were that dumb and got fooled easily."
She's wiping the blood that continued to drop on her nose. Little did she know that Lincoln was slowly walking behind him. Cayne was just distracting her.
"Okay. Okay. Just put the gun down. We can talk about this." He said trying to calm her again.
"No! There's nothing to talk about now. It's too late already, just leave so that I could kill that bitch." She shouted very loud. "I gave you everything, even myself. But when that bitch showed up, it's like I don't even exist anymore. What so important and good about her. I could give everything." She screamed like a crazy woman.
I could feel how hurt she was. And I could also sense that she truly love Cayne, but in a wrong way and wrong time. I feel pity for her.
"So, if I can't have you for myself. I'll better kill that bitch first," She was about to pulled the trigger when Lincoln stumbled behind her. They both knock off the ground.
Anica tried to struggle and Cayne help Lincoln to stop her. She wiggled very hard to get away from the two of them.
She kicked Lincoln on the legs and she punched Cayne on the stomach. They both arched in complete pain. She was about to shoot me, when Lincoln pulled a gun on his waist and pointed the gun at her. Pulled the trigger and hit her on the head.
I got shocked from what I saw. Blood dripped all over the floor. Anica's body were lying in the ground, wiggling. Cayne hurriedly came to me and hug me.
He touched my trembling body. "It's okay now, love. It's over now."

It's been 4 months since the incident happened, my life was slowly turning back to normal again. I am steadily regaining control of my life between me and Cayne gotten much better.
Cayne's had also convinced me to talked to my parents. And after what had happened to my life, the pain, and hardships that I have encountered. I have realized that life is so important. So I decided to let go of all the bad things and memories and forgave my parents. After all, it's all in the past now.
And honestly, I couldn't be much more happier. It felt good to be sorrounded by people I loved. I smiled as I looked around one by one, on thier faces. I suddenly felt sad when I remembered Shain.
Cayne's arms suddenly wrapped over my body. He hugged me tightly and kissed me on the head.
We had planned to get married, again, legally, on church, with our loved ones. And I was so excited for that day to come.
I finally can't wait to be called as, Mrs. Raszhiel Kein Shelton.
Cayne pulled me even more tighter, then he smashed his lips unto mine. Then a different sensation glided all over my body.
He pulled away as he said the words that made me feel like I was the most precious and beautiful gem on earth.
"I love you, love. I love you, Mrs. Raszhiel Kein Shelton."
I giggled. "I'm not yet Mrs. Shelton, and I love you more, love."
Soon, new chapter of our life will opened. Not just for ourselves, but also for out marriage life.
