Chapter 4

I took a shower and got dressed. I dressed down in a T-shirt, fitted jeans, and white sneakers. I don't need to wear fancy clothes and flaunt them because we'll only talk about the job and then sign the contract.

After what happened yesterday about the talk we had with my friends, I have decided to take the job. I have no reason to back out.

And they all gave me shit advices and talk about shit things like what should I do on our first night, what should I wear, including nighties and whatever. In short, they all made fun of me. Those motherfuckers.

I was busy fixing myself when I heard the doorbell rang. I hurriedly comb my hair and went out of my room. When I opened the door, I saw a man wearing a formal suit. It's a somber Italian suit. Wow!

"Good evening madam." greeted the man in front of me. I guess he is in his 40's, I guess.

"Yes? How may I help you, sir?" I asked him?

"I'm Lucas, and I will be driving you tonight to the mansion."

I raised an eyebrow in response to what he said. What mansion is he saying? I think he got the wrong person.

"I beg your pardon sir but I don't know what you are talking about. What mansion? I think you got the wrong person and the wrong apartment."

I was about to close the apartment door but he stopped me.

"Now what?"

Instead of answering my question, he just smiled at me and said that he will be waiting outside then left. I don't know but I found myself getting my things on the couch and I followed him outside. I saw him standing right next to the car. And it's not an ordinary car for Pete's sake. It's a Lykan Hypersport.

Wow! Just Wow! I am just very amazed. Imagine being the fortunate owner of this high-priced automobile? Just imagine, that car cost 3.4 million dollars. It's million dollars. This is so not true.

"Wow, this is amazing! I could already die just by sitting in this very expensive and fancy car,"

The guy named Lucas just laughed at what I said then opened the door for me.

"Are you certain I'm the one you're looking for? I mean, I don't have any rich friends or acquaintances who own this kind of car." I asked while trying to get inside the car.

"I'm very certain of it madam," he replied.

I took a look around the car when I got in. It's still hard for me to believe. Words can't even describe how nice it is. It's like I'm in heaven. Having a ride in the first car in the world to have headlights encrusted with diamonds. It has a twin-turbo mid-rear mounted 3.8-liter engine that produces 780 horsepower and a 708 pound-feet of torque.

By all that power means the car can reach speeds of up to 240 mph! How cool is that, right? And I will have a ride in it now. My God! It's jaw-dropping.

The car started to move and the man inside is just there in the front seat not saying anything. I still have a lot of questions to ask. It's not bad to ask questions.

"Ahm! Excuse me, sir? But can I ask a question?"

I didn't receive an answer but I guess it's a yes. After all, silence means yes, right.

"Did Zera tell you to come to fetch me? If yes, I mean, we talked earlier on the phone and we agreed that we would meet at the cafe near the bus station."

I still didn't receive an answer. Okay? So now he's playing as a deaf man. Looks like I'll just enjoy my ride to the place that I don't know where.

We went out of the city and it's been half an hour since we left my apartment. Minutes later, we arrived at our destination. And we are in front of a gate. It was like a giant gate, covered with green gasses but it doesn't look creepy at all. It actually made the gate looks so excellent and extravagant.

The gate suddenly opened and the car continues to move inside. Seconds later we arrived at the mansion. I was awed and captivated by the scenario. I have never seen a mansion like this big and amazing. It's breathtaking.

Lucas came out of the car and opened up the back door. I stepped out and a maid approach me and showed me the way inside the mansion.

No words can describe how amazing the inside was. It's bewildered. The chandeliers are so damn big and it's shining like it's telling me to rob them. The antiques were also breathed taking. Having a home like this is one of my dreams. Enchanting!

"So, you're finally here now." A manly voice came out walking at the long staircase. He was wearing a simple white shirt and faded jeans. His aura is extra sexy and gorgeous in person. Cayne Shelton.

"You probably want to close your mouth now, your saliva is already dripping all over the floor. I know I'm hot, but don't be too obvious," He said while smirking at me.

I touched my mouth to check if it's true that I'm drooling, but turns out it wasn't. I looked at him and gave him a death glare and he chuckled.

Shit! Even his chuckle is so sexy.

"I wasn't drooling, you jerk." He just laughed at what I said to him.

"What a dirty mouth you have. You look extra hot to me."

"And you look like a motherfucking moron." I cursed at him again, this time It was like a whisper into thin air.

I know it's the first that we met and I'm at his house, not thinking if I could be able to go out alive or not for what I have been saying to him but gosh!

"I can still hear you, honey. Anyways, let us get down to business shall we?" He said then walk away.

He sat down on a single space sofa and I also sat down right in front of him.

"So, my employee already told you about the job and gave you details. Now, here is the contract. Read it and sign if you are willing to take the job." He said while handling me a brown envelope.

I opened it and read what's written in the contract. It is being stated about my weekly salary worth 250 thousand, my weekly allowance worth 250 thousand also, my personal car, driver and bodyguards and also the place that I will be staying, which here in the mansion. It is also stated in the contract the terms and conditions of our marriage.

First is we should get married, secretly.

Second, we should sleep in the same room and the same bed.

Third, I am allowed to go out and do my thing as long as I have my bodyguards with me.

Fourth, we should act as a loving wife and husband in front of his parents, his friends, and to my friends especially when we are at the company.

Fifth, don't ask any questions about him.

And there is more to read on the said terms and conditions. It was also stated that I shouldn't disclose any information regarding the contract to anyone. But I told him I already told my friends and he said it's okay as long as I didn't tell the other part of the story which we will be talking about right after I sign the contract.

I looked at him as I've finished reading everything. And I was taken aback seeing him looking at me intently right straight to my eyes. I suddenly got conscious.

"Why? Is something wrong with my face?" I asked him.

He then sat carefully before answering.

"No, are you finish reading everything?"

"Yes. About the terms and conditions written in the contract, I think I would disagree with the second one, the third and fourth one. The rest, I'm okay with it. " I said while placing the contract on a table.

"I would disagree with that idea of yours. My parents are secretly coming here without any prior notice, so we shouldn't sleep in different rooms." He said with a stoned face.

"Why?" I asked him with so much curiosity.

"Rule number 5, don't ask any questions about me."

"Okay. So we should sleep in the same room, but with different beds. I would rather agree to that idea," I said. He also agreed to what I said and then wrote something in the contract.

"Another one, why should we act as loving husband and wife in front of anybody. Duh!" I added.

"Just to let them know and show them that we are really in love."

I just laughed at what he said. In love my ass.

"I also don't want to have body guards, I'm not kinda used to it. I would agree to have a driver but not having a bodyguard." He also agreed to it and erased the ones that I don't like on the contract.

We also talk about things that would be beneficial to the both of us when we will meet his parents and friends.

We finished discussing about the contract then I signed it. He told me to pack my things at the apartment because I will be living in the mansion starting tomorrow. He said that he already paid my landlord already about the 2 months that I haven't been able to pay because he knew that I will take the job.

Then his driver Lucas drive me home to my apartment.
