Sugar Baby 16. Night Call

"Hey, baby bear..."

It was six when I got a phone call from Jeremy. He was my high school sweetheart, now my gay best friend.

"Jeremy! Oh my god! It's been years! How did you get my number?!" I shrieked at him.

"Bear bear, I'm Jeremy the computer geek that you loved, and adored throughout high school. Finding your number is a walk in the park for me."

"Pfft... More like Jemy the stalker. But yes I love you. You know I still do! So...are you back in the states now? Or hopefully back in town?"

"I'm back in town since yesterday actually. Now, I'm on my way picking you up for beers. Not letting you say no obviously. So put your shoes on, I'll be there in five minutes baby bear."

Feeling too excited, I quickly hang up and change my clothes, and slip on my heels. He called me up again, saying that he's at my door.

"Jemy!!"

"Lorraine my baby bear, you look beautiful as always. One of these days, you will revert me back to straight again." I smacked his arm playfully.

We got to his car, as his driver opened the door for us.

"Mmm...you're getting too fancy for me now Jemy." I got inside his posh car, he follows me and sits beside me. He let out his deep chuckle, then told the driver to head on to the next place.

I was astounded when I saw the sign. Sailor. The surroundings were all manly but highly decorated to be flashy. "Jeremy! You fucking took me to a gay bar! Fuck yes! I love you so so much!" I hugged him tightly, making him laughed his heart out.

Jeremy was one of those male swoon-worthy gay guys. His defined muscles, chiseled jaws, manly stares, not to mention his toned legs and ass. Oh yeah, also his sexy arm sleeve tats. You would think twice, taunting him in for a fight.

"Let the night begin baby bear." He started getting us a seat and bringing the beers that we got earlier from the bar. Thankfully I wasn't wearing my short-short dress, just some designer jeans and glittery top, and really sexy Manolo pumps. People were already staring at us, well at Jeremy obviously.

"So, tell me. What brings you back? Don't tell me, you've met someone and are about to get married, and live happily ever after with the guy?" But his face said it all.

"What the FUCK Jemy!! Congratulations!!" I screamed at him, and he laughed loudly. People were turning heads now.

"Sorry boys! apparently, he's taken. Yes! I just found out! Cheers to him and his groom-to-be!" I stood up and raise my glass to Jeremy. He was laughing, thanking everyone for their cheers. We finally sat back down.

"Oh, by the way, you are appointed to be my best man at the wedding. That's how much I love you baby bear." He pecked my cheek lovingly.

"So. How are things with you? Anyone special lately?" Then I told him about my parents, and Richard, my besties, also James. But I didn't tell him about James being my sugar daddy, for obvious reason.

"Oh, baby bear I'm so sorry! I should have not left you. But it all sounds good with this James guy?" I shrugged at him.

"I guess, but I don't want to get my hopes up. Things have been kinda shitty for me in the last few months. But now that you're here!! Definitely loving it! So when do I get to meet him?"

"We can double date, with your Gucci guy?" I laughed hearing him referring to James, as the Gucci guy when we first met.

"We can, but I have to check with his schedule. I'll text you later, he'll be out of the country this whole weekend maybe I'll get to meet him Sunday night, or most likely Monday. He's a very busy man, a punctual one. With my timing, and quirks that what made us clicked, my shrink said."

We talked more, and laugh our hearts out, more pints of beer and chicken wings were coming to our table, my jeans were overflowing when we left the bar. Our steps were light, that was when I slipped my heels and sprained my ankle. It didn't look that bad, but it hurt like hell.

"Jemy! My ankle fuck!" I shrieked and whined as I feel the hurt spreads throughout my ankle.

"Shit! Okay, we're going to the emergency room first. Come leaned on me baby, my car is here."

His driver took us back to my apartment after our emergency visit, to the hospital. Then Jeremy took me back, safely to up my apartment. "Shit! I will need you to wear flats at my wedding. No more falling down on my watch, baby bear."

He sat me down on my bed, and get me a glass of water from the kitchen. That was when my phone rang, I look at the clock it was twelve already.

Fuck! Must be James.

"Hey baby, still up?"

"Hey, James. Yes, I am..." I tried to signal Jeremy with my hand to shut up, but he was looking at the medications that we got earlier.

"Baby, here's the water now you need to take the drug in the morning okay, don't forget. I'll...." He finally shut up and formed a silent O with his mouth.

Busted!

"Lorraine, who's that? Is there a man in your bedroom at... twelve." He was calculating our time difference then groaned. He sounded upset.

"That's Jeremy. Wait he was just leaving..." I didn't hang up the phone intentionally so he can listen in.

"I guess, I leave you. I'll see you tomorrow okay? Just call me if you need help okay? I'm good with time, it's the weekend. Take care baby bear." He kissed me good night, and let himself out.

"So, yeah Jeremy called me this afternoon and we went out..."

"Who the fuck is Jeremy?" He sounded angry, agitated, trying to hold his temper.

"Jeremy was my high school sweetheart, now my gay best friend who's back in town for his wedding, where he wants me to be his best man. Now, he was here cause we drink too much beer and I sprained my ankle, he was helping me settling in before he went back."

"Sorry baby for accusing you, I was just tired I guess. So, you're meeting him again tomorrow?"

"Yeah, around ten in the morning with his wedding organizer. Anyway, he wanted to meet you. I said I'll check with you first. I'm not sure about our situation, I didn't mention anything to him about our agreement. I shouldn't mention him about you either, I'm not sure...." I was babbling again.

"Your ankle, you're good now? Can you move around the house? Maybe someone should stay with you?" He sounded worried.

"I'm good James. We went to the emergency unit at the hospital, and get some elastic bandages for my ankle, and some pain medication for tomorrow, I'm still full of beer now. So, how was your day?"

"Boring. I miss you. I'm going back tomorrow. I'll try to move up my meeting. Just pack up for tomorrow, you'll be staying with me after I'm back. I'll take care of your ankle until you're better."
