"Alright Addie, let's get change. The maid will be here anyway, let's give her some space to clean up." Fifteen minutes later we were in his car, trying to find a place for a quiet lunch.

He was taking my hand and kissed my knuckles. Then he took my face and started kissing me slowly and lovingly. I could feel all his passion and love in that one kiss alone. I finally sighed as he finished our kiss with an I love you.

"One of these days I will propose to you baby, I'm just waiting to make sure that you will give me your yes." He stroked my cheek with his hand lovingly, his eyes were looking straight at me with all seriousness.

I couldn't say anything back to him, his words silenced me. My brain was working on overdrive. I was saved by the great timing, as our food was delivered to our table.

"Eat princess, I don't want you to run away from me. I'm just stating my intention towards you. I'm going as slow as you want."

Then his phone rang, and he got up to get a better signal reception. Seconds later a waiter came up to me and gave me a piece of paper. "From the lady with the sunglasses over there." I was confused but read the message anyway, without even looking at the sender.

My hands were a bit shaky, as I crumpled the note and put it away in my purse. I quickly turn around to only saw her back as she walked out of the restaurant.

"Hey, are you okay? You look a bit pale?" Alex asked me as he gets back to his seat.

"I'm good, just choked on my drink just now." I grinned at him, hopefully, it'll mask my shock state.

We finally finished our lunch, he was still trying to figure out what was wrong with me. But he must have thought that is was because of his proposal thing that I went a bit quiet.

"Alex baby, do you mind if I went back to my place now? I think I need my space. Look, I'm not saying no to anything it's just that I feel like this came on too strong. I need you to dial it down." I was nervously looking at him, I know he could see through trough my facade already.

"Adriana, the day is set. We will spend today together. We will go back to mine. I need to find out what's really been bothering you, let's on let's finish our lunch then we go back."

A dessert and a cup of coffee later I was feeling a whole lot better, and finally agree and went back to his place.

"So, you want to tell me what's really going on or should I find out for myself princess?" There was a threat, with a hint of sexual kink in his question. I bit my bottom lip right away. He was smirking at me, knowing what his words did to my body just now.

I put my purse on the kitchen counter and searched for the crumpled paper, then I give it to him. He cursed instantly, then called Chris up to his penthouse.

"Princess, go to the bedroom and make yourself comfortable. I'll be with you in a moment. I'll take care of this for you." I was about to turn and walked to the bedroom when he pulled me to him and kissed my lips hard.
