Chapter 101 Love Will Find You When You Least Expect It.

"Tali... don't... don't leave me, please..."

I furrowed my brow at what I heard. Slowly, I opened my eyes. I looked around and remembered what happened yesterday... and last night. I'm now on Rozzean's yacht, and we've talked about everything that happened. It's all clear now.

"Tali... no..."

My gaze dropped to him when he spoke again. His right hand held me tightly around the waist. His face was on my chest. He is calling me—Tali. Suddenly, I felt sadness and pain when Rozzean called Tali's name in his dream.

I will not leave you again. Never.

I raised my hand and ran my fingers through his hair. We are both naked underneath a blanket covering our bodies. What happened last night was amazing. I remember every detail vividly. It was hot and... wild. I wet my lower lip while looking at Rozzean's face on my chest.

Nice spot he has, huh?

I tried to turn around to get my phone to check the time, but I couldn't because Rozzean's hand was holding me tightly. It's like he doesn't want me to move from our position.

I temporarily ignored checking the time and continued combing my fingers through his soft hair. I peeked at his face again. He was peacefully sleeping. It seems like he is in a deep slumber. He also holds onto me tightly, as if afraid I'll leave his side at any moment.

He is also calling Tali's name. I know he's deeply hurt because of my pretense to get to know him and discover his flaws. I did all that, thinking I could escape my father's desire for me to marry Rozzean, but things turned out differently.

But what I least expected was for Rozzean to fall for the personality I created. He fell for Tali...hard. I was genuinely surprised. Tali is his maid. Nothing to boast about, but that's where he fell.

As he fell deeper, I saw more of his true nature. Dad was right. Rozzean is a great person. I doubted my father because I wanted to continue my life without a man—a husband. I was happy, and I thought that would be my life until I grew old.

But it became a rollercoaster ride for both Rozzean and me. It was difficult for me—Thaliana—to return and explain everything to Rozzean because I also loved him. Not just love. I loved him deeply. We both didn't want to lose sight of each other. Just as he told me that his eyes always look for me, I felt the same way about him.

I am so in love. So in love that I can't come back and explain everything to him. I was afraid he might not accept it. I held on to his love, and I was hurt because, as expected, he got angry. So angry that he didn't want to believe my words that night—when I came to his house and told the truth about Tali. That we are one and the same. I was hurt too, but I blame no one else because I was the one who started deceiving him.

But if I hadn't done that... I thought, would we be like this now? I wondered if he would have loved Thaliana immediately if I hadn't gone to his house pretending to be a poor person looking for a job.

I looked at Rozzean when he moaned. He pulled me closer to him. My fingers stopped moving through his hair. I smiled when he buried his face in my neck.

"I love you..." I leaned down and kissed his head.

Our beginning was happy, even though I was Tali. I got to know the real Rozzean Cyron—the workaholic billionaire. All work and no play. I learned a lot that not even his own family knew. I was also hurt by the things I discovered about his life that I didn't expect to happen.

I learned that he was a lonely person, someone who had been craving care and love for a very long time.

"I love you so much, Rozzean..." I whispered again.

I really thought there was no hope for us because I saw him with Klari several times. I wondered why he didn't approach me and find a way for us to reconcile. And now I know the reason why.

It's because of my Dad.

It turns out my father was both negative and positive when giving opinions about Rozzean. Thes also felt that something was wrong with my father that night we came from his bar.

I know Daddy did it for me. He apologized, which he shouldn't have. I was the disobedient daughter who complicated everything and needed to ask for forgiveness. If only I had listened to him from the beginning, I wouldn't have hurt anyone.

But I know all of this was destined to happen. In moments like this, Rozzean and I were really meant to be, and the pain is just a part of our love. It further strengthened our feelings for each other.

I'm also grateful because Rozzean didn't give up on me. He found a way for us to reconcile and endured what Daddy wanted just for me. I remembered how I shouted at him, how I hated him. My anger and jealousy towards Klari mixed, causing me to shout those words.

At that time, he was just waiting for me to back out of the engagement. He endured and couldn't move because of his agreement with Dad.

But even though I was deeply hurt then, he never left my mind. Even though I wanted to forget him and shouted many times that I didn't want him because of the pain, I couldn't.

I couldn't because I love him so much. So much.

"Rozzean..." I tried to wake him up, but he didn't respond. I ran my fingers through his hair and kissed his head again.

"Baby..." I whispered.

When I tried again to remove Rozzean's hand from my waist, he just held on tighter. I was planning to get up to prepare our food. My stomach was rumbling, and I was starting to feel hungry.

We hadn't eaten anything yet.

I smiled as I remembered what we did last night.

Oh, well... that was a different kind of feast.

I held Rozzean's hand tightly wrapped around my waist and slowly removed it. After doing so, I stood up and took my robe from the side. I put it on and then headed to his yacht's kitchen. I glanced at the clock on the side. It was already six in the morning.

"Let's see what supplies he has here."

I quickly searched for something to cook in the refrigerator. When I saw that it was well-stocked, I smiled. It seemed like he really prepared, and he was sure they would catch me. Luther was even his accomplice.

I grabbed some hotdogs and bacon. I also cooked rice and planned to fry some eggs. Hopefully, by the time I finish, Rozzean would be awake.

"Hmm... hmm..." I was humming and swaying my body while cooking. When I glanced at the four hotdogs I was frying, I unconsciously touched my lower lip, remembering what I did last night.

"Not bad, Thaliana..."

I turned to the sink to wash the tomatoes I took from the fridge when I felt hands slowly wrapping around my waist. I looked over and saw Rozzean.

His face was on my neck while his hands were on my waist.

"Good morning, baby..."

I thought I could finish cooking before he woke up.

"Good morning too," I said, facing Rozzean, "baby—hmmp."

He greeted me with a kiss when I turned to him. Rozzean gave me a deep kiss. I let go of the tomatoes I was holding and raised my hands to the back of his neck. I responded to his deep kiss.

Rozzean's hand went to my back, pulling me closer. I leaned forward to match and reach his lips. When he noticed, he lifted me and carried me. He sat me on the table.

We continued the kiss, and our tongues found each other. My hands on his neck moved to his hair and then to his cheeks. He was sucking and biting my lips.

When Rozzean released my lips, we both gasped for breath. My lips were numb from his aggressive kiss. Just when I thought it was over, he suddenly lowered his kisses from my neck down to my chest.

Rozzean faced me and kissed me passionately on the lips. When he pulled away, we looked into each other's eyes.

"Morning kisses?" I asked.

Rozzean's breath caressed my face. He pressed his forehead against mine, his smile wide.

"Morning kisses..." he said and kissed me again.
