Chapter 26
As soon as he received news from Axton that Randa had opened the Gathering, Samuel immediately changed her clothes, intending to follow. In his mind, he would not let his cousin again disturb his wife who was currently involved in the office event.
From the beginning, from when Samuel was small, compared to Rama, Randa was a figure who often became her rival. What Samuel has, in the near future will definitely belong to Randa too. Accustomed to competing from the past, Samuel didn't even give Randa any chance to beat him.
And Samuel needs to be proud. Because in the end he was chosen by his grandfather, Harry Walters to occupy the newest position as leader of Palma Palace to replace his mother.
Driving the car at an above average speed, in the end Samuel was able to reach her destination. As soon as they entered the camp area, some of Palma's staff who knew of Samuel's arrival immediately approached and reprimanded the black-haired man.
"Mr Samuel."
"Has anyone seen Mr. Randa's whereabouts?" asked the man to the point.
"Mr. Randy?"
"Yes, Randa Adiaksa Walters, the new vice chairman. He's the one who opened the gathering today, right?"
One of the staff immediately responded quickly. Incidentally, they know the whereabouts of the person their leader is looking for.
"Oh, Mr. Randa Walters. If I'm not mistaken, after lunch, he walked alone to the flower garden, sir," explained the staff while pointing his hand to the place he meant.
"There?" Samuel asked to make sure as she turned around. Facing the designated road.
"Yes, sir. I saw him there."
Samuel then nodded. Not forgetting to say thank you first, the man immediately took big steps to immediately follow.
While descending several sections of the road, Samuel's eyes kept rotating in all directions. Looking carefully where the whereabouts of his cousin. Even while grabbing the cell phone, trying to call his wife.
However, not to mention that the phone call to Ariana was picked up, her eyes already found the figure of Randa and Ariana sitting on the outskirts of the garden. Samuel quickly caught up. At that time also immediately approached.
"It's a loss that Samuel, a wife as beautiful as this, is even allowed to go to gatherings alone without supervision. Isn't she afraid if you get kidnapped by a forest animal?"
Hearing the conversation between Randa and Ariana, Samuel became exasperated. The man without permission immediately jumped in to answer.
"If it's a real beast, seriously I'm not worried. Because here, there are many officers watching over it. But if it's a land crocodile like you, I really need to be vigilant!"
Ariana and Randa both turned their heads. In that instant they saw Samuel's figure staring at the two of them cynically.
"Samuel," Ariana called.
The man said nothing. Increasingly advancing steps, without further ado, immediately grabbed Ariana's wrist. Asking the woman to get up from sitting and walk towards him. As soon as his wife complied, and her position was close, at that moment Samuel pulled Ariana to stand behind her.
"Randa. Ariana is my wife. I warn you, don't mess around. Not everything is mine, you have to take it and make it yours," said the man firmly.
Randy laughed. The man also rose from his seat.
"Gosh, Samuel. I'm not crazy. How could I take my cousin's wife."
"Eits, who said? A land crocodile like you can't be trusted."
Randa sighed lazily. Originally very embarrassed to hear Samuel's words.
"There is no land crocodile in this world that is as handsome as me, Samuel."
"Okay. If it's not a land crocodile, it means you're a stump crocodile."
"You mean you're the cousin of the stumped crocodile, right? the alligator."
"It's delicious!" Samuel sneered.
"Instead of me playing with lizards?" said Randa again.
"STOP!" she exclaimed.
Seeing the bickering of the two brothers next to her, of course, immediately made Ariana hot. How could they ignore Ariana's existence and instead argue like small children.
"Why are you two playing ABC FIVE FOUNDATIONS anyway?
"This is your first husband," Randa pointed.
"You're the one fishing, Randa!" Samuel debate.
"I'm not a fisherman, Samuel. Why are you fishing?"
"Jesus Christ! Stop!" Once again Ariana gave a warning. The woman pulled both Samuel and Randa's ears together until the woman groaned. "You two are too much, aren't you! You too, Samuel, what are you doing here all of a sudden? Aren't you going to take a break?" Ariana inquired with narrowed eyes.
"I-I... I-I---"
"Me what?" cut Ariana. "Why are you suddenly so flustered?"
"Yes, I'm here because I want to follow you. I can't calm down when I know you're in the same location as him," Samuel pointed at Randa.
"What's wrong with Mr. Randa? His people don't do anything to me."
Samuel didn't answer again. Instead of giving an explanation, the man pulled Ariana to go with him. Bringing his wife into one of the resorts that are available specifically for VIP guests.
"Samuel, are you okay?" Ariana asked once again when her husband forced her to enter the resort which might have been specially prepared for her husband.
"I don't like it, huh. You're close to Randa. He's not like the guy you think."
Ariana pulled her face away. He cast a disapproving glance at her husband.
"What kind of guy is he? His feelings are better and more polite than you."
"Crocodiles are like that, you know. That's a tactic to attract women. Later, if you fall into a trap, he just 'happs' and does what he wants."
"As far as I know, those who like to 'hap' are lizards, Samuel. Not crocodiles."
"Hah?"
For a moment, Samuel was stunned. He was confused to digest what Ariana just said.
"You don't understand?" she asked. "Remember the song of the lizard on the wall. It creeps quietly, a mosquito comes. Hap, then catch it."
Samuel let out a long sigh. This is why it even discusses all kinds of animal songs.
"Ariana, please, I'm serious."
"Didn't you say you were serious about disbanding?"
"Ariana!"
"Okay, okay. Let's go back to the initial discussion. You don't have to slander carelessly, Samuel. It's really bad that such a cute cousin is accused of nothing."
"What's cute? I'm still handsome everywhere. But really, I'm not making this up, Ariana. Randa is a famous playboy. Just ask everyone who knows her. Don't you ever read the news? Or check gossip accounts? Her boyfriends change every season."
Ariana chuckled lazily. For some reason, he didn't really care what Samuel had just explained to him.
"Okay, Randa Playboy, then why do you bother him so much with me?" In that instant, Ariana stared at him sharply. Leaning her face slightly, the woman spoke teasingly. "You're jealous, okay? Admit it, come on. You're jealous, aren't you with Randa?" asked Ariana while blinking her eyes. The woman's finger was raised, pointing clearly at her husband.
"Me? Jealous? Don't overdo it Esmeralda. If you forget, your status is now my wife. Don't create a scandal which will embarrass the Walters extended family. Besides, I don't like what is mine to be disturbed by other people."
Ariana immediately laughed sarcastically. Even felt tickled to hear what Samuel just said.
"You think I'm property? Isn't it in the agreement that I have the freedom to be friends with anyone?"
"Yes, I don't forbid you to be friends with anyone, except Randa."
Of course there is a reason why Samuel doesn't want Ariana to get close, let alone get into Randa's trap. Moreover, Ariana is now his wife. Even if it's only temporary or pretending, or whatever it's called, Samuel doesn't allow what belongs to her to be touched by other people, let alone playboy boys like her cousin.
"Your reasons are unreasonable, Samuel. You are too overthinking with Randa."
"Ariana! I don't want to hear any objections. Anyway, you can't go near Randa."
Ariana rolled her eyes in embarrassment. Ignoring Samuel's words, he chose to leave the resort immediately. Immediately returned to mingle with his friends who seemed to gather waiting for the race to start.

After being busy playing dexterity this afternoon, from wearing a sarong race, collecting leaves of various shapes, this evening the next event continued.
Starting with a dinner together, then continued with a bonfire party in the middle of the field area, all employees seemed to gather. Form a circle. While singing, singing. Until it comes to the stage of playing the typical game of campers in general, namely truth or dare.
"I'm nervous, ugh," joked Dinda who sat right next to Ariana and Chacha. Because they are a team and are also familiar with each other, they deliberately sit side by side so that when there is a group competition, it can be easier to build chemistry and still appear solid.
"Who made the question, anyway?" Clarissa then asked.
"Yes HRD kids, lah."
"But usually it's rolling. I hope you can ask questions in turn. I really want the opportunity to ask our new boss," Dinda chirped.
"What do you want to ask?" Chacha inquired. The woman's eyes narrowed, glancing suspiciously at her partner. He knew that Dinda must have prepared strange or useless questions like she had before.
"Want to ask about the type of wife. I really want to push myself."
"You're aware... you're aware. Your girlfriend is on the other side watching you. Besides, Mr. Randa's types are not as straight-forward as you are."
"Yes, the name of the business."
As soon as they heard the signal for the game to start, all employees immediately focused their eyes on the employee in charge of spinning the bottle and asking questions.
Exactly a few seconds before the start, from behind, came two other participants who joined in and even immediately took a sitting position. The presence of this additional figure really succeeded in stealing the attention of all the employees who were gathering in the field
"I can play along, right?"
"Mr Samuel?"
Almost all the employees who were sitting in a circle were immediately aghast. Some even reprimanded and then called the slant-eyed man's name.
"Yes, sir. Please sit down immediately," said the master of ceremonies kindly. Even pointed out a seat for Samuel right next to Randa.
Event starts. The bottle starts spinning. One by one the employees are told to choose whether they want to accept the truth option, namely telling the truth or choosing dare, which must be ready to be challenged.
Everyone seemed to be enjoying the game. In fact, Samuel did not escape her turn. When the bottle was aimed at the man, the presenter glanced at each other. Actually, I was anxious whether I wanted to continue the game or bypass Samuel to find it safe.
"Why are you silent?" Samuel scolded. "The bottle is pointing at me, that means it's my turn, right?"
The host nodded. Carefully responding to Samuel's question.
"Yes, sir. But if you want to skip, that's fine. Let the bottle be played again."
"No need. Why should it be skipped? Alright, just continue playing the game, don't be afraid."
The host then smiled. Although still nervous, he ventured to continue the game.
"Truth or dare. Did you choose truth or dare?"
"Truth, sir."
"Just tell the truth, sir."
"Dare it, sir."
Each employee seemed excited cheering. Provoking Samuel to choose from the two available options. Thinking for a moment, the man finally made a decision.
"I just choose the truth."
"Okay guys," said the Host. "Because our boss chooses yes, that means he will answer questions honestly later. Here, I will choose random participants to ask questions."
All the employees seemed to raise their hands. Dinda and Clarissa are no exception. I don't know what prayer or chant to use, Dinda is the chosen one. The woman was given the opportunity to ask questions.
"Thank you because I have been chosen to ask a question to the most important person in Palma, where we all work. Before that, I would like to say good night. Thank you for the presence of God. If only ----"
"Dinda!" interrupted one of the male participants. "Quickly ask. Why are you even giving speeches?"
Dinda immediately patted his forehead. Shame on myself because I'm nervous and nervous so I act out of bounds.
"Sorry... sorry... I'll continue with the question. Representing the curiosity of the females in Palma, please state the figure of a woman who has been lucky to be Mr. Samuel's wife. Even if you object to mentioning the name, at least explain to us the characteristics or criteria until the father made his choice to the woman."
Samuel smiled. Not the least bit burdened by the questions given to him. Casually, the man answered and gave an explanation.
"Actually, I personally and also my extended family have never applied specific criteria. When asked about the characteristics of the woman who is now officially my wife, she is definitely beautiful. An independent woman. She is a hard worker, outgoing and fun person. Good at cooking , good at mingling with new people and certainly not the type of woman who likes to waste money on things that are not important."
"If only now you are not married, are there any Palma employees who meet the criteria of your ideal woman?" asked Dinda then.
Samuel was silent for a moment. Looking around, his gaze immediately locked on Ariana's figure who was now staring at him. Smiling, he then nodded.
"Exist."
"Can you tell who the person is?" asked Dinda then.
"Confidential."
Right after finishing her sentence, Samuel glanced back at Ariana. From a distance, he could see how the woman whose status as his wife was smiling again.
"Heh, Ariana. Why are you smiling to yourself? Are you okay?" Clarissa scolded. "Remember, Mr. Samuel is again explaining the characteristics of his wife. Don't be shy and feel that it's you."
Ariana chuckled. She really wanted to answer and tell Clarissa that the figure Samuel mentioned was her. But because he was lazy to respond to his co-worker's chatter, he chose to ignore it without the slightest debate.
Even after hearing Samuel's answer, all employees immediately applauded. At least, they are no longer so curious about the figure of the lucky woman who managed to marry this rich and handsome man.
Continuing the game, everyone takes turns getting questions and challenges. Exactly at 11 pm, the game finally ended. All employees were immediately directed to immediately enter the tent and immediately rest.
Previously, Samuel wanted to invite Ariana to sleep at the resort with her. However, because she felt uncomfortable with Chacha and the other employees, Ariana refused the offer Samuel gave her.
After talking with Axton, as far as Samuel recalls, he entered the resort room around 12 at night. Just as he was about to lay down, Samuel's cell phone rang. Glancing at the name that appeared on the screen, Ariana's name was there.
Curious why his wife called last night, at that moment he immediately picked up the call.
"Yes, Esmeralda, why else? Are you having trouble sleeping?"
"Mr. Samuel, this is Chacha. Could you please come to the tent right now? Ariana's asthma has suddenly relapsed. It's like someone has difficulty breathing."
In that second, without needing to reply or say a word, Samuel immediately got up. Hastily left the resort and ran towards the row of tents in the middle of the field.
Slowly he tried to find. Lucky Chacha waiting in front of the tent. As soon as she saw Samuel's figure, Ariana's best friend immediately waved asking her boss to come over immediately.
"Where's Ariana?" Samuel asked worriedly. He couldn't hide the worried look on his face. Even more so when he entered the tent and saw for himself how Ariana's condition seemed to have difficulty breathing.
"He didn't tell you about Asthma medication or inhalers? Usually Asthma sufferers provide their own inhalers, right?"
"I've looked in her bag, but I can't find it, sir. So far, as far as I can remember, Ariana really can't stand too cold air. It's too bad she's missing her inhaler. Usually it's always in her bag.
Samuel closed her eyes. Thinking for a moment, then grabbed his wife's body and tried to hold her.
"Please tidy up Ariana's bag and cell phone. Help me carry everything to the car. Let me take Ariana to the hospital right now."
Chacha nodded. Fully swiftly immediately obeyed the orders given by Samuel. While observing their surroundings, the two of them stepped out of the tent. Carefully lead Ariana to the car so she can be taken to the hospital immediately.
While Samuel managed to take Ariana away, from another angle, it appeared that someone had been silently watching her. He even managed to capture the moment when Samuel carried Ariana into the car and took various forms of photos. I don't know what to use the photo for later.
