The Sixteenth Chapter
The room was dark; only the clamouring of chains reverberated in walls of the abandoned warehouse.
Hemera couldn’t believe it. Someone in Shamrock has the deadly Black Peruvian Rose.
Avril punched the man tied in the chair once more. Blood gushed out from the man’s nose like water flowing down the river.
The man, who’s drenched in his own blood and tears, begged soundly even when his mouth was tied shut with a calico.
“Finish him,” Hemera commanded Vesta.
In a heartbeat, the man’s brown skin turned utterly pale. Blood was now dripping from Vesta’s fangs. She savoured it jovially as if a kid drinking strawberry juice. She gave a handful of blood-filled glass to the grand vampire.
Candice Churchill, who refused the share of the man’s remnants due to her just devouring a fawn an hour ago, glared at Hemera unyieldingly.
As she finished drinking the glass, Hemera Bellamy faced Candice and Stella Goldheart and instructed.
“Find whoever is currently keeping that freaking Black Peruvian Rose and bring that person to me!”
Without hesitation, the two bowed clemently in a werewolf formal manner and strode away.
And the warehouse was now occupied by two werewolves, one vampire, and a fresh cadaver.

“What took you so long?”
Chadwick Sullivan, the current High Vampire and Hemera’s lover, interrogated her as the man lay nakedly in their bed.
She took off her leather jacket and undergarments first before answering her lover’s question.
“It took us a couple of minutes to make that man talk. I guess the influence of the Blood Mistress greatly affected the mortal, darling.”
“Do you really think that the Blood Mistress is not a vampire nor a werewolf?”
Hemera, whose unclothed chest is wholly visible in the tangerine light, raised her left brow at Chadwick.
“If she is, we would already know. There is no one that hasn’t been gifted by either the Moonflower or the Blood Rose that cannot be detected by our radar. I cannot also say that she is a heathen because heathens are wholly damned pathetic.”
“Heathens. The witches who didn't prefer to be called witches and chose to be known as Heathens rather than their actual nature?”
Hemera nodded. Her lace underwear was now on the lustrous floor.
When his gaze lingered on her breasts, gleaming with moonbeam, his expression turned ravishing and thirsty.
Then his gaze slid lower. Lower.
And when it lingered on the apex of her thighs, his baby blue eyes sparkled.
“Are you going to just gawk at me all night?” Hemera asked
She went on top of Chadwick, aligning his groin into her crevice. His blade slowly and deeply stabbed her on the inside.
She rocked for a minute when Chadwick’s voice broke the silence.
“What if there is a mole in the coven and the pack? What if the Blood Mistress isn’t a mortal or a heathen but is one of us after all, hiding beneath one of our friend’s cloaks?”
Hemera pondered it for a while. Her lover enjoyed relishing her breast while she plunged into a deep thought.
‘Nothing is impossible anyway.’
She mused and quickly drew back her attention to her handsome lover. His left hand stroked her left breast while his mouth devoured the entirety of her other tit.
Hemera felt madly pleased. As if it was a century that they’ve abstained from having intercourse.
But now, now is the moment of sexual glee. She’ll try to at least forget about the damned Black Peruvian Rose or about the mysterious identity of the Blood Mistress.
She swiftly bounced at his velvet-wrapped steel, hitting the very spot of her womanhood.
His lips crushed into hers, hands around her curvaceous hips. He said into her mouth, dropping words more lavish than a ferrari and a lamborghini.
“I love you, Hemera. I have always been. You are the color of my blood and the shape of my heart. Even when the worlds will collide with one another, I will never cease colliding with you—physically and emotionally. Even if our immortality vanishes, I will always love you.”
Hemera couldn’t discern her cry if it was because of pleasure or because of the words Chadwick declared to her. He had never said those words before.
Her body began shaking with the force of their convergence.
She kissed him once. Her body was so tense above him that she thought her muscles would snap. But his hands were gentle as they drifted to her back, caressing her flawless complexion. Her wine-red hair was wet with sweat and 'release'.
She held on to his ebony-black hair as she bounced harder this time, forgetting that the world is constantly rotating on its axis.
The waves of carnal pleasure drowned her on the inside. She lifted her body for a while, revealing Chadwick's huge blade. It was the same size of a cucumber, Hemera mused.
Her milky crevice was situated at his abdomen. Her back was facing him this time. Chadwick showered her back with kisses as he fondled her firm breasts.
And just to see what he’d do, she palmed and stroked him. She stroked fast and hard for two minutes.
Chadwick barked a curse.
She laughed quietly. She swallowed his steel, and aligned her core again to his huge groin.
“You are mine.”
Chadwick said in her ears. This time he was now in-charge of their dance—with only their bare skin serving as their costumes.
“I’m yours,” she howled.
Hemera felt the claiming in her bones, in her soul.
Today, she’ll savor the fruit of her and Chadwick’s love.
Now, the only thing she will do for the rest of the night is Chadwick.

Romaine was oblivious to how the hell Rozelyn proved Cyrill innocent.
She was still oblivious when she saw Thalia walking beside Cyrill and Rozelyn.
Ludwig, who just shut his mouth on the corner of the police station, was vividly oozing with wrath.
Romaine sensed his fury as they looked at each other. It was Ludwig who looked away first.
“An accusation without solid evidence cannot be proved guilty. It’s a fundamental thing to remember,” Rozelyn uttered to her stepmom, who’s now gazing at the aged Thalia.
Romaine bowed as she extended her right hand for a shake and as a greeting. She muttered her thanks in Gaelic.
“You’re welcome. I guess we shall all go home together, considering that our houses are just beside one another,” Thalia stated while walking towards her parked car.
“That’s great! Why don’t we have a feast by our house?”Rozelyn said to the three.
Without a doubt, they nodded and the four drove towards the Zadzisai’s residence.

Hemera was still inside him.
They’d been for four rounds already but they didn't seem to be exhausted.
She was wondering how that mortal man earlier managed to block his mind from an Astral werewolf like Candice.
‘Is that really how powerful a Black Peruvian Rose is? Even just a mere scent of that rose can negate any of the entity's powers that were gifted by either the Blood Rose or the Moonflower, how much more than a dozen of those black roses?’
Hemera pondered deeply. Chadwick was busy rocking back and forth inside her.
“We’ll be doomed if the Blood Mistress uses that black rose to control us! For fuck’s sake, we must figure out who the hell is this Blood Mistress before Samhain!”
She shrieked, making her lover stop what he was doing.
“Are you okay darling?”
Hemera nodded while pulling her consciousness together.
‘I’m going to tell Romaine these tomorrow.’
She conversed privately as she slithered down again at Chadwick’s velvet steel.
In a heartbeat, the two are now back thrusting and pounding one another as their moans echoed in the dead of night.
