“You’re back.” Wen Jie slowly sat up.

Ye Yuwei assisted Wen Jie and placed a cushion behind her back. She nodded slightly and sat down at the side of the bed. “Mom—”

“The last time you accompanied me and chatted was because you were leaving.” Wen Jie sighed. “I said some unpleasant words. The affairs of the heart should be handled between the two of you. Outsiders can’t interfere.”

When Ye Yuwei reached the living room, Ye Xicheng was seated on the couch, supporting his little sister who was sleeping.

“Mommy, what are you up to?” Ye Xicheng blurted out abruptly as Ye Yuwei approached them.
