The One And Only DuDu
Eleo dragged his carrot bag across the deck, stepping over knocked-out fancy people while lasers still flew past his ears. He walked right up to a muscular man in uniform, who was still holding a smoking laser pistol.
"Excuse me, sir," Eleo asked, completely ignoring the chaos, "how do I get a flying ship like that?"
The man turned, looking at Eleo like he'd just spoken an alien language. "KID, GET OUT OF HERE! IT'S NOT SAFE—"
PEW! A laser shot blasted the man in the chest.
"Whoops," Eleo said, stepping over him.
The other uniformed soldiers turned to him.
"HEY KID, YOU NEED TO LEAVE NOW! YOU'RE IN DANGER!"
Eleo blinked. "Uh... am I?"
"YES!!!" they all screamed.
PEW! PEW! PEW!
They all got shot.
Eleo scratched his head. "Oh. Whoops again."
Suddenly—
THUNK!
A grappling hook latched onto the ship's railing. Then—THUNK! THUNK!—two more hooks dug into the wood.
Eleo's ears twitched as he saw dark figures sliding down the ropes, silhouettes moving like wraiths.
He grinned. "WOW! That looks fun!"
The pirates landed on the deck, dressed in wild outfits, carrying weapons and sacks for loot.
One of them—a burly guy with sunglasses and a scar over his nose—stepped forward and glared at Eleo.
"What's a bunny kid doing here?"
Eleo wiped his nose and grinned. "Oh, well, my ship kinda broke... so I used my Ink Rope to climb up here!"
The pirates all looked at each other.
"Ink Rope?"
Eleo spun his ink rope around wildly—WHACK! He accidentally smacked a pirate in the face.
"OW!"
Then, Eleo swung it again—BONK!—hitting another in the gut.
The pirates all stepped back. "Whoa!"
Then—
A loud, booming voice erupted from the speaker system of the flying ship.
"HURRY UP, YOU FOOLS! GRAB ALL THE TREASURE OR I'M KILLING YOU!"
The pirates gulped and scrambled to steal faster.
One pirate—holding a sack of gold—looked at Eleo and asked, "Uh, Captain, can we take this bunny kid?"
The voice responded.
"YES. JUST GET BACK HERE, NOW!"
Eleo tilted his head. "Ooh, are we going on an adventure?"
The pirate grabbed Eleo by the collar and tossed him onto the hook rope.
"AND WHAT ABOUT MY CARROTS?!"
The pirate sighed, grabbed Eleo's carrot bag, and slid down with it.
The pirates all landed safely back onto the massive flying ship. The moment they did, they all kneeled down, facing a huge stone chair.
Eleo, still munching on a carrot, looked around confused. "Uh... why are you guys bowing to the stone thingy?"
The pirates all hissed at him.
"SHHHHHH!"
The chair slowly turned around.
And sitting in it—
Was a man with rainbow-colored hair, goofy mismatched clothes, and rings on every finger.
He smirked, resting his chin on his fist.
"HELLO, KID. I... AM THE ONE AND ONLY...
DUUUU DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!"
Dramatic music blasted from hidden speakers. A spotlight shined on Dudu. His cloak dramatically fluttered, despite there being no wind.
Eleo immediately clamped his mouth shut, his cheeks puffing up.
He was trying not to laugh.
Dudu raised an eyebrow. "...What's so funny?"
Eleo snorted.
Dudu's eye twitched. "Hey... HEY! WHAT'S SO FUNNY?!"
Eleo pointed at him, tears forming in his eyes. "PFFFHAHAHAHA! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOUR HAIR?! BWAHAHAHA!"
The entire crew froze in horror.
One pirate dropped his gun. Another covered his mouth.
"DID HE JUST—"
"OH NO..."
Dudu stood up so fast that his chair fell over.
"STOP MAKING FUN OF MY HAIR, YOU PRICK!"
Eleo was rolling on the floor, cackling. "I CAN'T—HAHAHAHA—I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING—"
Dudu gritted his teeth. "THAT'S IT!"
He snapped his fingers.
"BO! BK!"
Two figures stepped forward.
BO—a huge, shirtless man wearing a giant mouse mask and oversized underwear—stood there, flexing. His massive pet rat sat on his shoulder, staring at Eleo.
BK—a clown-faced man in a jester's outfit, flipping a coin in his fingers—grinned wickedly.
BK wheeled out a giant spinning wheel.
Dudu smirked. "Okay, kid. You get two choices."
He pointed to the spinning wheel. "You spin the wheel..."
Then, he pointed at the open ocean. "Or you hop off my ship into the water."
Eleo leaned forward, staring at the giant spinning wheel. He was just about to jump overboard, but then tilted his head. "Hmmm." He rubbed his chin like he was thinking real hard. "Okaaay. But... what about my carrots?"
Dudu snapped his fingers. A pirate held up Eleo's carrot bag.
"Oh, uh... yeah. That goes too."
Eleo gasped. "NO! NOT MY PRECIOUS CARROTS!"
He grabbed his ears, panicking. "OKAY, OKAY! I'LL CHOOSE THE WHEEL!"
Dudu grinned. "EXCELLENT CHOICE, KID!"
The crew cheered sarcastically.
"WOOO! SPIN THE WHEEL!"
"BIG MONEY, BIG DEATH!"
"PRAY TO WHATEVER GOD YOU BELIEVE IN, BUNNY BOY!"
BK stepped forward, spinning the giant wheel dramatically.
It whirred loudly, the symbols on it blurring together.
Dudu pointed at it. "There are 14 options, kid. Most of them involve me getting to kill you. A couple are... well, nothing special."
Eleo squinted at the wheel.
It had 14 sections, each with different outcomes:
"THROWN OFF THE SHIP (WITHOUT YOUR CARROTS)"
"THROWN OFF THE SHIP (WITH YOUR CARROTS)"
"FIGHT BO IN A RAT-INFESTED PIT"
"BK GETS TO SLAP YOU AS HARD AS HE CAN"
"DUDU GETS TO SHOOT YOU WITH A NICE RAINBOW GUN"
"DUDU TAKES YOUR EARS AS A TROPHY"
"YOU HAVE TO BE DUDU'S SERVANT FOR A WEEK"
"YOU GET TOSSED INTO THE SHIP'S LAUNDRY CHUTE"
"YOU HAVE TO WEAR A STUPID PIRATE COSTUME FOR 24 HOURS"
"YOU FIGHT BK (HE WILL KILL YOU)"
"YOU GET LOCKED IN A CAGE FOR A DAY (NO CARROTS)"
"YOU HAVE TO COOK FOR THE CREW (THEY WILL HATE IT)"
"YOU WIN ABSOLUTELY NOTHING"
"YOU GET ONE FREE PUNCH ON DUDU"
The pirates chanted as the wheel slowed down.
Eleo crossed his fingers. "Come on, something cool!"
As Eleo spun the wheel, it clicked to a stop at number 6. The entire crew leaned forward, grinning maliciously.
Dudu smirked, twirling a knife between his fingers. "Oh my, it seems I'll be getting a lucky charm~"
Eleo tilted his head. "Lucky charm? Like, a prize?"
Dudu grinned wider, licking his lips. "Yep. Your fluffy little ears, kid."
Eleo froze. "...Wait, WHAT?!"
Before he could react, Dudu lunged forward with the knife.
SHING!
The blade sliced through the air, aiming straight for Eleo's right ear.
Eleo leaned back just in time, the tip barely grazing his fur. His eyes widened. "Oh, heck no!"
"INK BARRAGE!"
BAM!
Before he could activate his powers, a pirate tackled him!
The ship deck erupted into chaos.
Bo swung a fist at Eleo's face.
WHIFF!
Eleo tilted his head, dodging by a hair. Then—
CRACK!
He headbutted the man so hard he collapsed instantly!
More pirates lunged in.
Eleo twisted, ducked, and weaved between their attacks. One came from behind—he kicked back with his heel, smashing the pirate's nose!
A burly pirate charged with a massive club.
Eleo sidestepped, grabbed a chair, and spun around—
SLAM!
The chair shattered across the man's head!
Another pirate tried to stab him from behind, but Eleo—
TWIST-GRAB-SLAM!
He flipped the guy over his shoulder, slamming him into the wooden deck.
BK pulled out his sword and slashed downward.
Eleo grabbed a plate off the table and used it to deflect the blade.
CLANG!
Then, he flung the plate like a frisbee, smashing it into another pirate's face!
Another pirate came flying toward him with a dropkick.
Eleo bent backward like a limbo master, letting the guy fly over him and crash into a table!
The crew kept coming, but Eleo kept countering with insane reflexes.
One guy threw a punch—Eleo caught his wrist, spun him, and suplexed him into the floor!
Another pirate swung a bottle at Eleo's head—
Eleo grabbed it midair, chugged the drink inside, and then SMASHED the bottle over the pirate's head!
The last pirate—a massive brute—cracked his knuckles.
Eleo grinned. "Alright, big guy. Let's dance."
The brute threw a haymaker.
Eleo leaned back, dodging—
Then, he launched forward, driving his knee straight into the brute's chin!
BAM!
The guy flipped in the air, crashing face-first into the deck.
Silence.
The entire crew was unconscious.
Dudu slowly sat back up in his chair, twitching. His rainbow hair was a mess, and his eyes burned with fury.
"...You..."
Eleo stretched his arms. "Man, that was fun! You guys are terrible at fighting though."
Dudu's vein popped.
"THAT'S IT! I'M GONNA RIP YOUR LITTLE FUZZY HEAD OFF!!!"
Dudu grinned, shaking off the dust from his coat. His rainbow hair bounced as he cracked his neck.
"Alright, bunny brat... You've had your fun. But now, it's my turn."
Eleo tilted his head. "Huh? Your turn to what? Lose again?"
Dudu's vein popped. "SPRING PUNCH!"
BOING!
His arm coiled back like a tightly wound spring and then—
WHOOSH!
It snapped forward at lightning speed!
Eleo barely dodged, the fist whizzing past his face. His ears flopped from the sheer force.
"WHOA—!"
He stumbled back, blinking. "...What the?"
Dudu smirked, bouncing on his heels.
"Heheheh... Impressed? My S-Orb lets me turn my body into a SPRING!"
Eleo stared for a moment, rubbing his chin.
"...So, does that mean if I push you over, you just keep bouncing?"
Dudu's eye twitched.
"ENOUGH QUESTIONS! I'M GONNA BOUNCE YOUR FACE INTO OBLIVION!!"
