Attraction laced with tension

Kal's POV

"So much for not being swayed by a woman."

I turn to look at my friend, Achilles, with a glare. He scoots away and laughs before standing up to take Aqua, also known as Susan, away from our booth.

Once they are gone, I sit up and make sure I'm balanced on the pink leather couch. I gaze up at Bells, who is still standing on her feet, and into her hazel eyes.

My eyes leave her eyes and travel down her slightly wide nose with a pointed tip. Going down her nasal bridge to stop on her lips.

Those lips.

Those lips that have been tinted with a nude matte lipstick, full in its glory. I wonder how soft they would be against my lips. Damn. She is standing awkwardly, quite unsure of what to do, and I am aware of what my gaze is doing to her.

My eyes go lower. Lower to her neck that is adorned with a set of minimalistic gold chains, burnished against her smooth caramel skin.

The lights in the room hit the tiny stringed necklace and shone against her skin like molten gold poured against caramel satin. She's just so unreal. Staring at her gives me a feeling almost the same as staring at a regal goddess.

My blood vessels constrict, I am sure. Because as soon as my eyes travel down her collarbone and cleavage, my fist curls, and I feel my groin tighten.

She's wearing a bikini outfit from the looks of it. But, this is a fancier one. One a stripper should be wearing. Holding her perfect pair of breasts is a tiny bronze bralette adorned with bronze-colored sequins. Aqua is wearing something similar but black.

Bronze looks good on Bell's skin, I must say. Getting to her midriff, I can see a thin strap of chains wrapped around her slim waist. She has a ring attached to her navel, and I honestly want to cry out loud in pleasurable torture.

Why are all these suddenly appealing to me?!

Bell clears her throat. "Enough of the staring. You're making me uncomfortable."

I smirk and look back at her, straight into her eyes. I notice her body movement. She is uncomfortable. I don't tell her to take a seat because I want to watch her. I want to take in her beautiful body. Her endless legs.

Those endless legs...

"Well, what can I do? You're stripping for me tonight, so I can do whatever I want with my eyes. " I say to her in a relaxed tone.

She takes her stance immediately. I know she is about to strip, so I stop her with a raise of my hand. She is bent, and once she sees my hand, she stops immediately.

A part of her hair covers half of her face, so I stand on my feet and slowly walk towards where she is on the table. I take her dainty hand and help her step back onto the floor.

We're in close proximity, and I can feel her gentle breath against my cheek. Fuck, she smells so nice. Smells of flowers in spring.

"You're not going to dance where everyone can watch you," I whisper hotly in her ears and feel her weaken against me. "I want to be the only one watching you strip, ómorfi gynaíka."

Immediately, she moves away from me and clears her throat. She avoids my gaze and immediately turns and begins to walk away.

I stand back a bit and watch her for a few moments as her waist sways, creating a rhythm that makes me want to go crazy.

If someone told me a few days ago that I would be almost nuts over a club stripper, I would definitely fire the person and have them locked up for a whole day.

Shaking my head like I am trying to get out of a daze, I begin to walk.

Bells is climbing up the stairs that lead to one of the private rooms. When I get to the top of the stairs, I see her speaking with one of the bouncers.

The tall beefy man is smiling and checking her out, and what comes into my mind is going over there and giving him a punch or two. It wouldn't be a bad idea to leave him with a busted lip.

The bouncer nods at her and opens a door behind him. Bells turn to wave me over. Like a puppy waiting for its owner, I nod and walk to where she is standing behind the bouncer, whose eyes haven't left her since.

It would have been quite alright if I had leaned over to the bouncer, who I am slightly taller than, to whisper a threat into his ear, but I refrain from doing so. The loud music playing would lessen the effect.

So, I glare so hard at the bouncer that he is almost knocked off his feet and push past him with my shoulders.

"What the hell, dude!" He calls out to me.

I ignore him and shut the door in his face. When I turn to look at Bells, she's already standing on the table and holding onto the pole, slowly circling her slender fingers around it like she is teasing it. I begin to have a photographic image of her doing it to my member.

I stop myself from face-palming in frustration.

She hasn't even stripped, and I already feel like she's against me.

I compose myself and go to one of the long settees arranged around the room. I take my seat and stare at her for a while.

"There's a loudspeaker beside you. Tap on the play button." She says to me,

Everything about her just seems appealing to me. Her voice is something I have wanted to listen to for a long time. So smooth and tactical. I want to ask her if she studied linguistics at her uni.

But I don't.

Strippers don't seem to be in the population of educated people. Most of them do this job because they mostly can't get jobs due to their qualifications. I am very sure that Bells falls into that category.

I move closer to the music player and stretch out my hand to tap on the black play button. But I stopped myself.

"What's taking your time, sir?"

I move away from the music player. "Can we talk for a few minutes?"

She doesn't even let me complete my statement. "No." Then, she drops from the table and daintily walks to the music player. I watch her bright red nails press against the button, and immediately, Naughty girl by Beyonce pours out of the speakers situated in different corners of the room.

What Bells does next, I will never forget in my whole life.

I want to ask her how long it took for her to master the art of seduction

Once the music begins to play, she slowly moves back to the table, her waist moving with so much amazing fluidity.

How the hell does she belly dance like she is merely twisting a door knob?

Her waist shimmies from side to side, and she raises her hands in the air. Slowly, her fingers dig into her hair and tie it up in a ponytail. I want to tell her to free her hair, but I refrain from doing so and sit back to watch her.

Her hands hit the table, and she moves into it like she's a leopard. My eyes widen in surprise when she holds the pole and begins to twist around it like she is made for it.

Beyonce's music keeps playing, and I can feel the effect of the lyrics affecting me, coupled with Bell's dancing.

I like how she maintains eye contact with me throughout the dance. Her eyes have this come-hither look like she is pulling me to her, asking me to come over to where she is.

But, I do not move. I am glued to my seat.

She slips down the pole and widens her legs enough that I can see her inner thighs. She closes them, shakes enough, and slips onto the table.

She's lying flat atop it, and she keeps frolicking on the table like she is having the time of her life.

Then her hair loosens and flows out and behind her.

When she comes down from the table, her feet are bare. Her heels have been left lying somewhere around.

When she comes close enough for me to inhale her scent.

"What are you doing, woman?" I whisper under my breath.

She stands before me, her eyes directly hitting mine. Both of her hands lift up to her shoulders, and both of her fingers wrap around the strap of her bralette.

One is pulled down to set one of her perky breasts free, and I know that tonight, something heated will go down.
