Chapter 10

Theodore circled Abigail as a lion ready to pounce on his prey. He enjoyed the shock and slight excitement on her face after seeing the room. It had been prepared the day after he sent her the contract. He figured if this was supposed to be her ’job’, a proper work area for her would be appropriate.

He was pleased with the glint in her eyes as she examined the shiny silver pole under the red and pink lights. Across from it was a black, leather armchair for him.

Her heels clicked against the black tiles as she crossed the room, and Theodore followed slowly behind her, appreciating the distinct swing of her hips under her large coat. He brought the glass to his lips, taking a sip of his wine as he took his seat. He watched carefully as Abigail easily found the music box, where she took a disk from her bag and slipped it inside its respective area.

She was a natural, and the way she seemed so confident while doing something as simple as getting music showed Theodore that this wasn’t Abigail. This was Kitten.

The thought excited him as she placed her bag at the side of the stage. He decided that he’d show her the dressing room later. But now, he didn’t wish to interrupt her in anything she did.

Little did he know that Abigail was slightly terrified. As much as the room gave her a boost of confidence, her earlier uncertainties lingered in her mind. She appreciated the effort he made, nonetheless, in getting this room ready. She had prepared a dance for him tonight, but having the pole would be much better.

Nerves gnawed at her mind as she got herself ready, but as soon as the introduction to the song filled the room, she felt her feisty, sexy personality snapping away at the fear and insecurities. As soon as she turned to face Theodore, she saw him as just another of her victims to her exotic striptease.

Her blonde hair swung around her waist as she slowly stalked across the stage. She peered at him from under her eyelashes and slowly unlatched each bottom from its place. Theodore’s eyes lingered at her long, pink nails as they slid across each black button. He gulped at the first glimpse of her full, plump breasts. He began second-guessing if he’d be able to do this. She had already aroused him, and all she did was walk across the stage.

Kitten knew what she was doing. By the time she was at her final button, her back was turned entirely to Theodore. She swung her hips and swirled her hands around her to the beat of the song, never once losing her focus as she hugged her arms around herself. The chorus of the song boomed through the small room the instant she dropped the coat to her feet, causing Theodore’s eyes to widen at the scandalous outfit she wore beneath it. The glass nearly slipped from his hand as she bent over to retrieve the piece of fabric between her small fingers.

He took the chance to let his eyes roam over the length of her body. She wore a tiny dress that hugged her curves, and its length stopped just under her bottom. Her hips swayed with the beat of the music as she wrapped her long fingers around the pole after flinging the coat at his feet. She didn’t mount it, but she remained on the ground and danced around it most naturally.

Theodore didn’t even know her legs could go that high, nor did he know that her waistline was this flexible. His fingers trembled as he brought his glass to his lips again, this time trying to unbutton his shirt further at the sudden heat that overtook him.

The beat of the chorus shook the room again as Kitten skillfully slid herself up the pole, swinging her long legs around it with the rhythm of her opening song.

She noticed the look on Theodore’s face and found it appealing. It enhanced the smirk on her lips as she flipped her body across the pole, controlling her speed as she extended her legs apart until she was in a perfect reversed split. She then clenched her thighs around the pole and spun around it rapidly until she was at the bottom, where she released her body and landed in a split in front of the pole. What made it more erotic was the way she held her finger between her teeth before flashing Theodore a wink.

He cursed under his breath as the room in his trousers got considerably smaller. At this, he knew for sure that he wasn’t watching the shy, quiet Abigail he took to brunch the other day. This was a different side of her. It was a side that both excited and scared him. She was doing so much to him while she still wore a dress, no matter how small. What will happen when she….

He lost his train of thought as the song slowed and all that remained was its continuous rhythm as Abigail stood to her full length again. This was her favourite part of the dance when she would have an intercession towards the song’s end, where she performed her striptease.

She watched Theodore carefully as she wrapped her fingers around the small tie that held the dress to her body. She drew her lip between her teeth as she slowly and teasingly pulled on the string of the dress. It took every ounce of self-control in him to remain in his chair. Theodore knew what she was doing, and it drove him crazy.

As soon as the ropes were loose, Abigail lowered her body to the ground, where she laid on her stomach and pulled one knee up to her side. Theodore watched wide-eyed as she swerved her lower body up and down slowly to the rhythm of the song. It was so smooth and intentional that it caused the hairs on his hand to stand. With every fling of her ass upwards, Theodore’s breath grew stronger. She was driving him wild.

Theodore rested his glass on the small table beside him before leaning forward to watch her better. She turned on her back and flung her legs open, causing the dress to tumble at her sides, but he still couldn’t get a perfect view of what sat underneath it. She jumped to her feet, staying in a crouched position with her knees apart and her back turned to him as she slowly pushed the dress from her shoulder. In that position, she ticked her hips from side to side, where she would bounce to the beat of the tune from time to time. Though he couldn’t see it completely behind the dress, Theodore acknowledged the bounce of her bottom each time she moved. She was a perfect dancer. Nothing in how she twerked was less than erotic.

Theodore remained at the edge of the chair as she stood fully again with the dress just below her shoulders. She still had her back turned, and all she needed to do was turn around for him to see her. Yet, she didn’t.

Instead, she performed yet another number on the pole, fast enough to only give Theodore glimpses of what lies beneath the dress, but not completely.

Alas, she stood behind the pole with her back still turned, where she tauntingly slid the tiny dress from her shoulders.

His heart plummeted against his chest at the sight. She was beautiful.

Though her back was turned, she had her legs slightly apart, and Theodore got the perfect view of her womanly features. Her waist dipped in the right places and provided just enough room for the curve of her hips. Her thighs were plump but toned, and her skin was so smooth and seemed soft.

The curve of her bottom shocked him even more as she stepped sideways, giving him the perfect view of her surprisingly generous ass. It slightly shook with every move she made, and by the time she was facing him, Theodore was utterly blown away. What she wore wasn’t less than a lingerie set. It was entirely black, and the tiny bra pushed her full breasts forward, only covering the bottom and her stiff buds. The rest was just as scandalous. The tiny fabric barely covered her plump bottom, and it also had two strings extending from the sides, where they were wrapped around her thighs.

The waistband and straps of the bra had golden rhinestones that matched her heels, and Theodore acknowledged that she looked nothing less than perfect. She bent to her knees and on her hands as she crawled to the edge of the small stage area.

Theodore sucked in a breath as his eyes lingered on her breasts a little too long, and she regained his attention when she reached across and pulled her extended fingernail over his pink lips. Theodore sat stunned with his lips slightly ajar as she moved away quicker than how she approached him. His mind grew hazy, and his erection was now evident in his pants. He wanted to get rid of it, but she would only make it worse if she continued like this.

But Kitten granted Theodore no relief as she stalked back to the pole, putting even more emphasis in her walk as the lyrics of the song resumed, and she lifted her body against her most exotic tool again.

Theodore chewed on his lips, trying desperately to look away, but he couldn’t find the will. He suspected that Abigail was talented. But this? She was a natural tease. It was in her facial expression, the way she moved and most of all, the way she danced. Even with the song coming to an end, her breathing never once increased, and she didn’t break a hint of sweat.

The way she flipped herself over with only one hand on the pole had Theodore jumping from his chair, thinking he’d have to save her from a broken neck, but soon realised that it was a part of her act as she ended in a split at the final note of the song.

Silence reigned in the room as Abigail brought her legs together and stood once more. Theodore simply stood in shock. He was impressed and blown away by her performance. In fact, as she moved closer to him, he found himself moving back, which caused him to fall back in his chair. He gulped as she stopped at the edge of the stage. Her facial expression was indifferent and confused as she eyed him. He ensured that he kept his erection hidden. The last thing he wanted was to startle her.

“I’ll take a five-minute break, and then I’ll perform my second dance,” she said. Even the way she spoke sounded strange. The bold edge in her voice was never how she spoke as Abigail. It was like she was definitely two different persons.

“No,” he replied a little too quickly as he stood again. She was perched in front of him with her hand akimbo and her legs slightly apart. The minimum clothing she wore made it all worse. A sexy body is hard to hide, and Theodore knew this from the first night he saw her. But being this close to her— being only an arm’s length away with her bosom directly in front of him and her perfect body only inches away from his hold, he could no longer stay—not while she took him so much by surprise tonight.

Perhaps if he had seen her perform at least once before, he would’ve been prepared, knowing what to expect, and maybe then he wouldn’t have become this aroused. He felt guilty for doubting her, but with a personality like Abigail’s, what he witnessed tonight was utterly mind-blowing. They say, ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’, and Abigail— Kitten— whatever she called herself, was the very epitome of that.

He cleared his throat before speaking again, trying to sound as normal as possible. “No. I can only imagine how tired you are,” he said, trying to make an excuse to escape. “You should go. This was enough, thank you.”

His dismissive tone confused Abigail as he turned away from her. She suddenly felt self-conscious. He hated it, didn’t he?

She held onto the roots of her wig and pulled the teeth from her scalp as she dragged the blonde thing from her head. She then retrieved her coat from in front of the chair and draped it around her shoulders as she watched him leave the room without another glance in her direction.

That was her favourite dance to perform, and she chose to do it tonight simply because it was her first night with Theodore. Seeing that he probably hated it gave her second thoughts about the entire agreement. He dismissed and left so promptly that she actually felt… cheap.

Tears burnt her eyes as she stared at the door. Suddenly, whatever pep talk that Najay gave her completely left her mind. Kitten ditched the stage, too, leaving a broken and confused Abigail staring after the only man who made her actually feel something apart from annoyance and contempt in over a year.

Perhaps this was a bad idea as she initially thought. She had no idea what to do or how to move forward.

She couldn’t even see herself approaching him again. Not after how he made her feel in that moment. Not while she was standing in this room, feeling utterly humiliated and irrelevant.
