139 - The chapter with Cam's next day
Rose
" I didn't know you had erotic dreams about me," I commented as Christian and I left the room, walking side by side down the hall.
" Are you kidding? I've been dreaming about you since you tried to run me over with Brigitte. If you only knew how many times I've dreamt of fucking you in that capo " he commented with a dreamy smile on his face, making me laugh.
" We can sort this out when the temperature starts to rise," I winked at him, heading for the stairs.
That's when Camille's figure sneaking out of her room at the other end of the corridor caught my attention, and as soon as her gaze touched me, I knew she had a lot to tell me.
“Look, do you mind if I spend some time alone with the Cutie, I want to know how it was the first time sharing a room with Theo', I observed my boyfriend.
"I don't mind one bit if you promise to tell me later," he winked at me.
"If you talk to Theo and tell me his side of the story, we have a deal," I proposed, receiving a wink in return, before he gave me a quick kiss goodbye and headed back to our room.
I intercepted the girl in the middle of the corridor, following her to the stairs.
" So, do you have anything to tell me? " I asked excitedly.
I saw her face turn red, making me smile as I imagined what had happened last night.
"You want to know everything?”
" Anything you want to tell me," I winked at her, walking down the stairs beside her.
"It was different from everything I imagined, I... can I tell you later?". " she asked when she heard voices coming from the kitchen.
"We can run off and talk somewhere after we've eaten something," I suggested, tossing my hair back.
The girl's gaze caught on the marks on my neck, then her eyes widened.
" Oh my God, what was that?”
I brought my hand to the spot, letting out a humorless laugh at her question.
" Ahh that? 'Chris woke up a little too excited today,” I explained.
"You mean that was this morning? " she widened her eyes " was that a bite?”
We both walked together down the corridor that would lead us to the kitchen, where we expected to find our friends by the voices coming from the room.
" Some. And you shouldn't be so surprised, you're still going to find out that there is no right time for an orgasm,” I teased her.
But to my surprise, I bumped into someone as I entered the kitchen, someone who was close enough to hear the tenor of our conversation. I started to take a step back, my eyes widening as I saw a brown-haired, jade-green-eyed guy who seemed to have interpreted my reaction as a slight imbalance, and to stop me from falling, he slipped his arm around my waist, pinning my body to his.
" 'Oh my God,” Cam stammered.
"I don't know what you're talking about, but I can't disagree," he gave me a half-smile as he gazed down at my cleavage.
I forced a smile, pushing his body away from mine with a gentle shove.
" Sorry for the bump, I was distracted " I turned away from the guy, trying to escape an unnecessary interaction. That's when my gaze focused on Alicia, who was sitting on a stool by the kitchen island.
Great, she arrived before everyone else!
" Sorry? Honey, that was a pleasure, you can bump into me whenever you want " he joked, following me as I went to the island, where breakfast was served.
Camille gave me an amused look, making no comment on the interaction, ignoring the look of disdain from our newest guest.
" I'd rather not have that happen. You know, I'd rather not bump into people,” I denied, picking up a savory muffin from the counter.
" That I doubt very much,” Allie sneered.
" 'I'm Andre Waldorf, by the way,' he ignored the girl, “but we can do other things that don't include bumping into anyone.”
"Really, André? You've had better taste," Allie sneered.
Great, another Waldorf to annoy me.
" Rose, and this is Cam…” I picked up a plate, placing a bagel next to the muffin, picking up two individual packets of cream cheese “and I think you'll find plenty of girls who are interested in bumping into you today, don't worry, André. And Alicia, I could answer you, but I promised Liam I'd ignore you this weekend, so I'll be busy pretending you don't exist, okay?”
I grabbed a bottle of orange juice and the plate, heading towards the glass door that would take me outside the house, hoping Cam would follow my lead and join me. But to my displeasure, she wasn't the only one to follow me.
"Well, I doubt there's a more interesting girl than you here this weekend, Rose. "And don't mind my sister, she can't stand any girl who's prettier than her," Andre joked, following us without any difficulty.
"I know why she can't stand me and I know why I prefer to keep my distance from anyone who is that close to her, so you better not waste your time on me," I turned to him, keeping a serious expression on my face, "I'm sorry, you're out of luck.”
" You'd be surprised at my luck, Rose. In fact, I could surprise you in many ways." He gave a sideways smile that was calculated to win girls over.
I just rolled my eyes, turned my back and walked to one of the tables around the pool, leaving the man behind, who seemed to have given up, at least for now.
" Why didn't you tell him you already have a boyfriend? Wouldn't that be simpler? " Cam asked.
" Because he needs to understand that if I said I'm not interested, I'm not. I don't need a boyfriend to validate my denial " I shrugged, sitting down " But let's get to the point, we're alone and I want to know how your night was.”
Camille blushed a little, looking around unsure of how to start telling.
" Ahh it was... different from what I expected.”
" What did you expect? " I opened the bottle of juice, sipping the contents.
" 'I was afraid I was going to feel pain or something, but... It didn't happen,' she whispered, “he was so calm and left me free to decide what I wanted to do or not. All the time he insisted on making sure I really wanted to continue.”
" Theo is not an inexperienced guy, of course he would do anything to make you feel no pain. Did you... like it? " I nibbled on the muffin I had picked up.
" I think so, I... I was so embarrassed and I ended up running out of the room today. He wasn't wearing anything but his underwear and I didn't know how to react!" she confessed, making me laugh.
" Oh my God, Cam. that poor thing! He won't understand anything when he wakes up!”
" You never thought it was weird to wake up with another guy wearing so few clothes?" she asked.
" Cam, I've only woken up with two guys in my life, Chris and Josh. And I hadn't really thought about wearing anything with either of them," I returned.
" Oh my God, do you sleep naked? " she widened her eyes, making me laugh.
" Not every day, Cam. I just don't care about getting dressed, especially if I'm too tired to do it. But you don't have to worry, that intimacy will come with time between you. With the other guys, I usually just got dressed and left after it was over, but with Christian that changed. He made me comfortable to share a bed with him and not just have sex," I shrugged.
" 'Do you think I'll get used to waking up with him?”
" Cam, we all live together, I bet he'll start sleeping in your room more and more often and that's fine. This intimacy between you will come with time, you don't have to worry " I reassured her " but next time, try not to run away before he even wakes up, with what I know of him, the poor guy must be thinking he hurt you somehow.”
Camille widened her eyes, seeming to have only considered that possibility at that moment, and as if to confirm what I had said, Theo appeared at the door of the room, frowning when he saw us there together.
" 'If I were you, I'd go and talk to him,' I nodded, going back to eating.
Cam bit her bottom lip for a second before getting up and heading towards her boyfriend, leaving me alone to finish my breakfast.
