26. The chapter with the agreement
Christian
We were silent for a few minutes, and as soon as we reached the campus parking lot, I got off the motorcycle, helping her off before taking off my helmet.
" You know you're going to carry me to the building, right? " she challenged me.
I turned on my back, waiting for her to come up before resting my hands on her thighs, applying a little pressure, reminding myself of the sensation of touching her bare skin.
" You won't complain today, that's a first," she teased me.
" If possible, you're heavier than last time," I returned, deciding to pick her up.
We both attracted some attention as we walked across campus, but I didn't mind it one bit.
" Very funny Davis, you didn't seem to think I needed to lose weight earlier," she ruffled my hair with her fingers, stroking my scalp in the process.
" Aren't you going to hit me for calling you fat? You're nicer, we should do this more often," I returned, getting a laugh in return.
" Well, maybe I'm nicer because holding you down is a simpler task after two orgasms.” she mocked.
I glanced quickly over my shoulder at her, trying to understand what she meant, but Rose seemed only too willing to remain silent, and I didn't mention it until we were at the entrance to the art building.
" So you agree with me? " I put her down.
" About what?”
" That we should do it more often," I crossed my arms, raising both eyebrows.
For a second Rose held my gaze, seeming to take that idea well.
" I won't be your girlfriend," she warned.
" I don't want a girlfriend," I returned, "I'm going to keep seeing other girls.”
" And me, other guys," she added, "no one can know, or they won't give us peace.”
This was getting better and better, I couldn't believe my luck in getting a girl as hot as Rose willing to have a friendship with benefits with no strings attached.
" Okay, in public we are just normal friends," I agreed, "Anything else?”
" You'll have to give up your threat to kill me if I scratch your harley. That's almost certainly going to happen at some point," she returned, making me laugh.
" No deal. I will kill you if you scratch my harley," I was emphatic.
" Can't you just give me a good beating?”
" I said I would slit your throat," I returned.
" One stab in the leg and that's it!”
I raised both eyebrows, amused by this story.
" Right.”
" And then you have to take me to the hospital," she insisted, making me laugh.
But before we could finish that fight, the arrival of our friends interrupted us.
" Finally we found you, where have you been? " Theo exclaimed as he approached the entrance to the building.
" Christian was teaching me how to ride his motorcycle," Rose turned her back to me.
This information surprised the three of them who had been following Rose practically begging me to teach her for the last few weeks.
" I wanted to cheer her up, she was in a sorry state," I murmured.
" Christian, have you talked to Harry today? I haven't seen him since the party yesterday," Sky asked.
" I woke up and he wasn't in his room, maybe he had already left," I shrugged, deciding not to reveal the fact that he had actually been out all night.
" I'll try talking to him again," she sighed, walking away before being followed by Theo.
Rose seemed willing to stay with me for a few more minutes, but they both stopped and looked back.
" Aren't you coming, Rose? We're in the same hallway today.”
She forced a smile, then walked away, leaving me with Liam who watched in silence.
" What didn't you tell Sky about Harry? " he asked, not taking his eyes off the group as they walked away.
For a moment I considered lying to him too, but Liam would know. He always seems to know when someone lies to him.
" He didn't come back from the party; his bed remained untouched.”
He just shook his head affirmatively, absorbing this information. When I thought about saying goodbye, he sighed, walking back toward the building where I would have class, nodding his head for me to follow him.
" So, you and Rose…”
" You said it would be a good idea to get her off campus," I returned, not feeling comfortable with the direction the subject had taken.
" I don't remember telling you to fuck her," I stopped walking at his statement.
How could he know that?
" And who said I had sex with her?
" The scratches on the back of your neck," he pointed out, "I'm sure you didn't have them before class.”
I brought my hand to the back of my neck, remembering the moment Rose had dug her nails into it in the midst of her first orgasm. A shiver ran through my body at the memory, but I tried to put it out of my mind.
" Rose had scratched me other times and I hadn't had sex with her," I returned, trying to remain neutral.
" Had? " he returned with amusement.
I muttered an almost inaudible curse at that little slip of the tongue.
" Are you together now?”
" No. We're free as usual," I assured him.
" Yet you hit a guy with a chair for her.”
" A stool, and you would have done the same if you had been there. Don't you have class?
I hurried on, determined to get to my destination and get rid of the unwanted conversation.
" I'm not taking this class, the evolution of contemporary art is boring," he shrugged, "I just want to know if I can keep introducing guys to Rose, or girls to you.”
" I always want to meet girls," I said, mentally thanking him for finally reaching the building, "I can't miss the next class.
I didn't bother to say goodbye to him, I just went inside the building, going over in my mind the moments with Rose, wondering when I would have the chance to do it again. The answer came through a message a few minutes later, I was already settled in my seat when my cell phone vibrated.
"Sleep in my room tonight?"
A small smile broke out on my face at the proposal. It was getting more interesting by the second and I wouldn't miss the opportunity to spend a whole night with him.
