#115 - Searching for Ultron and foreign aid

"Have you found where Ultron is?" Steve asked Tony, holding a tray with several cups of coffee on it.

"Not the exact location." Tony conscientiously took a cup of coffee from the tray, but frowned at the color.

"Red? Is this coffee ground with clay?"

"What's wrong, Tony?" Clay asked subconsciously when he heard Tony call his name.

"Nothing," Tony replied.

"The tea room was smashed to smithereens; only the coffee beans Clay brought survived," Steve said with a wry smile.

"It's good enough to have something to drink."

Tony looked at the steaming, deep-red liquid, smacked his lips, and finally mustered the courage to drink it. He had been working for several hours straight and really needed coffee to perk him up.

The coffee was as smooth as silk, and the taste was different from any coffee he had ever had, but the rich, mellow aroma was unmatched by any coffee he had drunk before.

It was surprisingly delicious. Tony widened his eyes in surprise. Not only that, but he felt his fatigue relieved a lot. The others in the room felt the same way.

Tony exhaled a breath of stale air, thinking he could buy more from Clay.

"It seems the coffee you brought is very popular," Steve said with a smile, handing the tray to the Plumbers, his meaning self-evident.

"I'm glad you like it." Clay looked happy, took two cups of coffee from the tray, and handed one to Four Arms.

"Aren't you guys drinking?" Steve looked at Diamondhead and Bloxx.

"No, thank you." Diamondhead shook his head. "Bloxx's and my diets are different from yours. We can't ingest this kind of liquid food."

"Guys, I've found something," Tony's voice suddenly rang out, attracting everyone's attention.

"What did you find, Stark?" Steve put the tray aside and walked quickly to Tony's side.

"Ultron is very cautious." Tony projected his findings.

"While searching for Ultron, I found a lot of reports about us. The internet is going crazy, saying there's an Avengers civil war or something."

Tony selected several websites and displayed their content to everyone.

"Is any of this useful?" Hawkeye asked, puzzled.

"It's not useful. I'm just showing you to give you some psychological preparation," Tony shrugged.

"Stark," Steve said, looking helplessly at Tony.

"Don't worry, we'll get to the useful part soon." Tony waved his hand, and the projected images changed.

"This is a collection of online comments I've organized. The content is similar, saying they saw a damaged Iron Man armor and took photos or videos, but without exception, none of these images were saved."

"So what? How is this useful?" Thor asked, puzzled.

"We can piece together Ultron's route based on these eyewitness reports." Tony waved his hand again, and a map appeared. The comments were thrown onto the map, showing the location of their posters.

"Although some are just trying to fish in troubled waters, it's not difficult to find the information contained within if you look closely."

Tony stretched out his finger and drew a route.

"Based on the location of the tourists near the Avengers Tower at the time, plus their descriptions, we can deduce that Ultron's flight direction is roughly—northeast."

"Northeast..." Steve pondered for a moment. "Can you be more precise?"

"This is the limit." Tony sighed. If Jarvis were still here, it would be better.

If Jarvis were still here, not to mention being more precise, the speed would definitely be much faster. The results that he spent several hours sorting and filtering could be obtained by Jarvis in a few minutes.

Tony shook his head, throwing his thoughts out. Now is not the time to think about these things; there are bigger problems to solve.

"Ultron is not human. It can't eat food, so it certainly won't hide in a deep mountain forest. It needs energy. It needs modern factories. Only those things can help it complete its plan," Tony said.

"Can't Ultron absorb the energy of the gems?" Hawkeye asked.

"No," Tony said, denying the claim. "My armor can't directly absorb those energies; it would destroy it."

Although Tony had narrowed the scope a lot, it was still like looking for a needle in a haystack.

"Let's think of a solution," Diamondhead stood up.

"We, the Plumbers, have an expert in this field. We will report to headquarters and apply for his assistance."

"Thank you so much," Steve said with relief. "May I ask when your colleague will arrive?"

"It depends on his location," Diamondhead didn't guarantee anything. Actually, he could make it happen immediately if he wanted to, but for the sake of the Plumbers, he had to be ambiguous.

"I'll contact headquarters now," Diamondhead said, immediately walking outdoors, preparing to return to the spaceship to contact headquarters.

"Although we have the help of allies, we can't sit still and wait," Fury also stood up.

"I will send out agents to search the cities along the northeast direction as much as possible."

"That's all we can do for now," Steve sighed.

Leaving aside the people in the laboratory, Diamondhead had already returned to the spaceship.

This beak-shaped spaceship actually has a prototype, called Star Watcher, from a game Yang Le had played before.

Diamondhead opened the communication device and quickly contacted the Plumbers headquarters, located in a cave on the Atlantic seabed of Earth.

"What's wrong, Diamondhead?" On the screen was Yang Le. To be on the safe side, Yang Le had specially separated a clone to stay at home on standby in case of total annihilation.

"Ultron is born and attacked Avengers Tower," Diamondhead said.

"What?" Yang Le widened his eyes.

"This is too explosive, but isn't the plot too early?"

Yang Le frowned. The plot was like a train speeding ahead. 《Thor 2》, 《Iron Man 3》, and 《Captain America 2》 haven't even started yet. How did the Age of Ultron come first?

"It's indeed early," Diamondhead nodded.

"I guess it may be because we exposed Thanos too early. Because of the fear of Thanos, it affected Tony, so it increased his pressure, so Ultron was born early."

"That's possible," Yang Le stroked his chin, agreeing with Diamondhead's guess.

"Then what are you calling for? To ask for help?"

"That's right. Split out another clone and have him transform into a Ditto to come over."
