#128 - Battle of Sokovia
"Without our knowledge, Ultron turned us into blind men," Fury said, placing a stack of reports in front of everyone.
"These attacks almost all happened at the same time, just as your attention was drawn to Killian."
This was undoubtedly bad news. Everyone had been played by Ultron, busying themselves with great enthusiasm, yet they hadn't caused Ultron any hindrance.
"We need to move a little faster, folks," Steve said, looking at everyone. "Whatever Ultron is planning, it's clear it has already succeeded. Instead of wallowing in self-pity, we should consider what to do next."
"I agree with your point," Diamondhead said.
"I think we should evacuate the civilians of Sokovia first, and quickly."
"That's almost impossible because there's no way to notify them using electronic devices. Ultron won't allow us to do that," Fury's face darkened even more. "Without these electronic products, we're like ancient cavemen, only able to spread the word by mouth."
"Speaking of spreading the word by mouth," Bloxx interjected.
"I have an idea."
The Maximoff twins, looking completely bewildered, were brought into the conference room. As soon as the door opened, they saw all the members of the Avengers and a bunch of strange creatures, including the familiar Bloxx.
Such a large formation frightened Quicksilver and Wanda. They thought their affairs had been exposed. Just as they were trembling with fear, Bloxx spoke.
"Hi! Kids, miss me?"
"Long time no see, Mr. Bloxx," Pietro greeted Bloxx cautiously.
"Hello," Wanda echoed, then asked with confusion.
"May I ask why you're looking for us?"
"Actually, we have something to discuss with you," Bloxx coughed and told the twins about Ultron.
The twins looked at each other after listening, the amount of information was too much, making them a little dazed.
"We've seen your files. You and your sister both have superpowers," Tony said, walking over with a file.
After seeing Tony, a trace of disgust and hatred appeared in Pietro and Wanda's eyes, but it was quickly concealed.
However, Tony, who walked up to the two siblings, still noticed this momentary anomaly. Although he was strange, he didn't show it and said as usual.
"Brother Pietro has super speed, sister Wanda has telekinesis and telepathy. We need you to use your abilities to save your hometown, do you agree?"
"What do you need us to do?" Pietro took a deep breath, calmed his mood, and faced his enemy. For the sake of their homeland, the siblings were willing to put aside their hatred temporarily.
"Pietro, we need you to use your super speed to notify the residents of Sokovia and tell them to evacuate."
Tony looked at Wanda again and continued.
"Wanda, we need you..."
"Wanda may not be able to help," Pietro said preemptively.
"What's wrong?" Tony frowned.
"Since that elevator drop, my superpower has malfunctioned," Wanda said, clutching the corner of her clothes, pretending to be strong.
"It can't be said that it's completely out of order," Quicksilver quickly added.
"It just occasionally loses power."
Yang Le frowned. Ability malfunction? This was an unheard of novelty.
"Then we can only rely on you, Pietro," Steve walked to Quicksilver and put his hand on the young man's shoulder.
"It's our dereliction of duty to put the burden on you."
"Don't worry, Captain, this is also for my country," Pietro said solemnly.
"Then what are we waiting for, folks," Four Arms punched his chest.
"Let's make a dazzling debut!"

Ultron looked at the coffin-like device in front of him. Inside, his new body was being manufactured, a body made of vibranium.
"Sir, it will take another half an hour for the new body to be completed," an Asian woman with a beautiful face reported to Ultron with a blank expression.
"It's too late," Ultron stroked the transparent hatch of the device. The Avengers had already set off, and they would probably arrive soon.
"Continue, Dr. Zhao," Ultron ordered.
"I will buy you time."
"Yes, sir," Helen Cho replied.

Ultron turned and left, passed through the long tunnel, and came to the outside of the fortress. In the distance, two black spots were approaching him.
Ultron's eyes could of course see clearly that they were two aircraft, one was the Avengers' Quinjet, and the other had a peculiar shape, probably a Celestial Forge spaceship.
"Welcome," Ultron's eyes flashed red, and the wall behind him suddenly exploded. One robot after another, like bamboo shoots after a rain, emerged and flew towards the two aircraft in the distance.
"Captain, we're in trouble," Banner said loudly, piloting the transport plane.
"What trouble! This is a welcoming team to welcome us!" Thor opened the hatch of the transport plane and jumped out.
"Woohoo!" Thor screamed and rushed towards the robot army.
"This is definitely more than a hundred!" Banner maneuvered the transport plane to avoid attacks.
"Land, Dr. Banner!" Steve shouted.
Taking advantage of Thor's escort, Banner quickly operated the transport plane to land.
The Celestial Forge also began to land at this time, but they were better than the Avengers because Star Watch was equipped with a shield, although the intensity was not high, it was still more than enough to cover a forced landing.
The Quinjet landed first. As soon as it landed, the Avengers rushed out of the transport plane to avoid becoming cans to be slaughtered.
