#138 - T'Challa
“I still find it hard to imagine that Wakanda is a place with technology surpassing all other countries in the world.”
Banner stood on the Avengers Tower's helipad, along with others who had been invited.
“As long as you know that Wakanda is rich in vibranium, and one gram of vibranium costs ten thousand dollars, if Wakanda hasn't been destroyed under these circumstances, you can deduce how strong Wakanda is.”
Tony pushed up his sunglasses, looking less like he was attending a discussion and more like he was going on vacation.
Wakanda possessing vibranium and having a strong national power is not a secret among powerful nations. Although no one knows how much it has in reserve, it is definitely not low. Therefore, after witnessing just the tip of the iceberg of this country's strength, this not-so-secret secret has been very well guarded.
No country would choose to provoke Wakanda.
“Time is running out,” Fury reminded everyone.
“Prince T'Challa will be receiving us this time. He is the son of King T'Chaka and the first heir to Wakanda. Don't overstep, especially you, Stark.”
Fury glared at the unrestrained Tony. This guy was a problem child, and even with Fury's special instructions, he wasn't very reassured.
“Relax, I'll pay attention,” Tony said, fiddling with the phone in his hand, not sure if he had listened to Fury's instructions.
“I don't think he listened,” Banner said, recalling the first time they met when Tony, out of curiosity about the Hulk, poked him with a stun baton.
In terms of leaving an impression on people, Tony Stark can be said to be a top expert, although it might not be a good impression.
“If he listened, he wouldn't be Stark,” the Shapeshifter chimed in.
“Really? Is that the impression I give you guys?” Tony clutched his chest, looking very hurt.
“Sigh…” Fury felt like he was sighing more and more often. He regretted forming this superhuman organization more than once.
“Oh, it seems our plane is here,” the Shapeshifter said, his big eyes flashing with white light.
“Really? I don't see anything,” Tony frowned. Clearly, his sunglasses weren't as simple as they looked.
“Looks like your lenses need to be replaced,” the Shapeshifter said smugly.
The Shapeshifter's vision is definitely different from normal humans. Plus, Yang Le intentionally developed the alien hero's abilities. The Shapeshifter, a mechanical life form that can change itself, is simply the best blank slate. Little Qibing inputted a bunch of blueprints for him. The Shapeshifter can only be described as bizarre now.
Seeing through an invisible aircraft is simply too easy.
“Looks like I really should upgrade,” Tony said seriously. Facing technological power exceeding his own, Tony's competitive spirit was completely ignited. He had already decided that after the Wakanda trip, he would lock himself in the lab and seclude himself for a while.
As soon as Tony finished speaking, a uniquely shaped aircraft, accompanied by green light, slowly appeared in front of everyone. The spaceship landed, the hatch opened, and a strong black man in a suit appeared before everyone.
Behind him were two serious-looking, bald women wearing special red costumes and holding metal spears, following the man in a clear hierarchy.
“Welcome, Prince T'Challa,” Fury walked unhurriedly to T'Challa and extended his right hand.
“Hello, Director Fury,” T'Challa said, smiling as he extended his right hand. “It's a pleasure to meet you.”
“Thank you for Wakanda's kindness, and thank you, Prince T'Challa, for the invitation,” Fury shook T'Challa's hand heavily, wanting to express his gratitude.
“We also need to thank you for helping us recover the stolen vibranium,” T'Challa smiled, then turned his gaze to Vision.
“Of course, not including you, brother. At least in my opinion, if you are truly a life, you belong only to yourself and are no longer Wakanda's property.”
“I'm glad to hear you say that,” Vision gave an awkward smile, a smile he had practiced for a long time.
The two women behind T'Challa frowned, seeing this as an offense to Prince T'Challa.
“I'm sorry, I'm not very good at controlling my expression,” Vision immediately apologized when he saw everyone's expressions, realizing he had failed.
“After all, my face is still very ‘stiff.’”
T'Challa chuckled at Vision's words.
“Brother, your joke is really funny.”
Being composed of vibranium, not just his face, but his whole body must be ‘stiff.’ This vibranium joke successfully amused T'Challa.
“Is that so?” Vision tilted his head. Although he wasn't joking, he didn't explain when he saw T'Challa was happy.
“Cough cough!” The woman behind T'Challa coughed, clearly reminding T'Challa.
“I know, Okoye,” T'Challa also coughed, returning to his dignified prince persona, and gestured to the side.
“Without further ado, please come aboard. Wakanda's aircraft will definitely leave a deep impression on everyone.”
“Wait a minute!” the Shapeshifter suddenly said.
“I want to bring one more person?”

“What?” Fury looked surprised. He had never heard of this before.
When T'Challa saw the shocked Avengers, he knew that this matter had nothing to do with them. He had actually been curious about the Shapeshifter for a long time, but he didn't ask because of his duties as a prince. The Shapeshifter taking the initiative gave him the opportunity.
But before he could speak, Okoye behind him spoke first.
“This is against the rules!” Okoye said sharply. “His Majesty the King only invited you few.”
“Don't be nervous, Okoye, let him finish,” T'Challa stopped Okoye. He was very curious about what the Shapeshifter was going to say.
“What is your name?”
“Your Highness, I am the Shapeshifter,” the Shapeshifter bowed respectfully, but his clay-like body looked strange no matter how you looked at it.
“You look very special,” T'Challa looked the Shapeshifter up and down.
“My race is the Gravanix Transformer, so the difference between us and humans is definitely very large,” said the Shapeshifter.
T'Challa nodded and asked, "Who is the person you want to bring?"
“He and I both belong to the Sky Guild and are also aliens,” the Shapeshifter explained.
“The Sky Guild doesn't trust me to venture into an unfamiliar country alone, so they sent an agent to accompany me.”
“A reasonable request,” T'Challa nodded. Not to mention aliens, most Earthlings would find someone to accompany them when going abroad, so the Shapeshifter's request seemed reasonable to T'Challa.
“Your Highness!” Okoye wanted to speak, but T'Challa interrupted her. He raised his hand to signal Okoye not to continue, and Okoye had no choice but to stop.
“Don't mind letting us see your friend, do you?” T'Challa said with a smile.
“Of course.” The Shapeshifter nodded, then called out loudly.
