#326 - First Mission

In his Crapapple Supreme state, Yang Le's work progress could only be described as rapid. With the intellect of Crapapple Supreme and his outstanding physical capabilities, repairing this base was a piece of cake for him.

Of course, Yang Le didn't finish all the work; he even left some for those who arrived late.

Jackson Hyde arrived shortly after Yang Le transformed into Crapapple Supreme. Although this honest kid was curious about Yang Le's large crab form, he didn't ask and simply went to work.

Later, Dick Grayson and Roy Harper also arrived. They also cast many glances at Yang Le in his large crab state, but they didn't ask him directly, instead going to Megan to inquire.

Only Wally West, who arrived last, couldn't hold back. If Dick hadn't stopped him, he might have shouted.

"What's with the big crab?" Wally pointed at Yang Le. "Did you bring a helper, Jackson?"

"No, Wally," Jackson said, putting down the heavy object in his hands. "This is Mr. Yang Le, the guardian the Justice League arranged for us yesterday."

"I know," Wally scratched his head. "But wasn't he a Yeti yesterday? How did he turn into a crab today?"

"There are many people in the Justice League who can change their appearance. Look at the symbol under his head; don't you think it's exactly the same as the one on the Yeti yesterday?" Dick patted Wally on the shoulder. "Megan can also transform, have you forgotten?"

"Mr. Yang Le and I are actually a little different," Megan said softly. "It feels like Mr. Yang Le's transformation is like changing into a different species."

Yang Le, through the metal plate he controlled, saw the teenagers gathered together whispering. Just as he was about to remind them, the base's communicator rang first.

Using brainwave control to press the button, the newly installed screen immediately lit up, and a serious-looking Superman appeared on it.

"Young Justice League, this is Superman, with a mission for you."

"New mission!" Wally dashed to the screen in a flash. "Super villains? Or a huge natural disaster? I can't wait to show off my skills."

The other teenagers also walked to Wally's side at this time. Although they didn't show as much excitement as Wally, their expressions revealed that they were also looking forward to receiving a special mission.

"What is the mission, Superman?" Yang Le moved his crab legs and approached the screen.

Superman was a little surprised, after all, he had never seen Crapapple Supreme, but after seeing the Omnitrix symbol under Yang Le's head, he immediately reacted.

"That's Yang Le, right?"

"Yes, it's me. This is one of my forms."

"Okay," Superman said, putting away his doubts and continuing.

"The wizard Wotan is trying to use the Amulet of Atan to obscure the sun…"

"Obscure the sun!" Wally exclaimed with joy. "Wow! This is much more impressive than the missions I imagined. If we complete this mission, we can definitely be promoted directly into the Justice League."

"Keep it down," Dick nudged Wally with his elbow. Despite his composed demeanor, the corners of his mouth betrayed his true thoughts, and the other teenagers were the same.

Of course, Yang Le heard Wally's words. To this, Yang Le could only say: Too young, young man.

"The Justice League has dispatched all available personnel to stop him, but at the same time, an explosion occurred at the Cadmus Labs in Washington D.C. The entire Cadmus Labs is now surrounded by flames."

"Batman has been keeping an eye on that place for a long time. He suspects that Cadmus Labs may not be as simple as it seems, so the Young Justice League needs to use the excuse of putting out the fire to infiltrate it and explore the truth."

"Oh, come on," Wally couldn't help but deflate. Although infiltrating a secret facility sounded cool, it was a bit underwhelming compared to a super villain obscuring the sun.

If he hadn't heard about the former mission, Wally might have happily gone to carry out the infiltration mission, but unfortunately, he did, so the infiltration mission was not satisfying enough for him.

The other teenagers were more or less disappointed, but none were as exaggerated as Wally. Dick, in particular, had been maintaining a thoughtful posture after hearing the plan, wondering what he was thinking.

"Young Justice League has received the mission," Yang Le tapped the console a few times and pulled up the information on Cadmus Labs. "We'll head to the scene immediately."

"Good luck," Superman said and hung up the communication, obviously going to deal with Wotan's matter.

"Alright, kids," Yang Le turned around. "You've heard the mission. Time waits for no one. Let's set off quickly. We'll discuss the specific details on the way, or the fire will be extinguished."

"How are we going to get there?" Roy asked. "Is there any transportation here?"

"Of course," Yang Le gently tapped his two crab claws together, making a crisp sound, followed by the roar of an engine.

Everyone turned around and found an ordinary-looking RV appearing behind them, seemingly driven from the corridor.

"An RV?" This time, not only Wally but even Dick couldn't hold back. "If I were to arrive at the scene in this, I would definitely be photographed and laughed at by everyone online."

"That's right," Wally also looked resistant. "I'd rather run there myself."

"I'd rather have you carry me there," Dick said solemnly.

"So, you don't want to ride it," Yang Le revealed a mischievous smile, but unfortunately, Crapapple Supreme couldn't open his mouth, so Dick and Wally could only sense something was wrong from his voice.

"Of course," Wally moved his legs, looking like he was really planning to run to the scene.

"Okay," Yang Le sighed. "Let's do something about this broken car."

After the broken car honked a few times, it transformed from an ordinary RV into a stylish, technologically advanced armored vehicle under the dumbfounded gaze of everyone. If they hadn't witnessed it with their own eyes, no one would have been able to connect it with the previous RV.

"Alright, kids, get in the car," Yang Le waved his crab claw, and the broken car cooperated by opening the door. "Find your favorite spot to sit. If you have any needs, you can tell the broken car. It has its own mind and can understand your requests."

"So cool," even the steady Jackson couldn't help but exclaim in admiration, not to mention the others. The teenagers quickly walked towards the broken car and chose their favorite seats.

Wally and Dick remained silent, quietly leaning over. Just as they were about to get into the car, the door slammed shut.

"Sorry, kids," Yang Le poked his head out from the driver's seat. "Like I said before, the broken car has its own ideas. Apparently, it didn't like what you said before. It looks like you can only run to Cadmus Labs."

Dick and Wally looked at each other and said in unison.

"Oh, bother!"
